A Husband For Killer Mom

Chapter 125 - 125 Ch. 125 Richard-Quinn’s Past

125 Ch. 125 Richard-Quinn’s Past

In the middle of the night, Anxia came out and expertly stole the neighbor’s car and then drove the car to the place stated in the secret encryption inside her phone. She had spiked a sleeping drug on the dinner, making Sheylie and Richard would fall asleep for hours. Alas, Richard didn’t touch her meal and locked himself in the room with three screen monitors on his table.

Nevertheless, Anxia sneaked out and hoped Richard had not noticed her disappearance at all, as he was currently busy looking for the place he suspected was where his daughter’s antidote was stored.

A few minutes ago, Diego had told Richard that he had managed to find Kirena and reach her. Kirena was willing to come straight to Paris and leave without packing clothes. Even so, the journey was still too far, and Richard had to wait ten to twelve hours before Kirena arrived at the airport.

When Kirena arrives, the poison in Lori’s body will activate, and Kirena’s time to save her daughter will be shorter.

Is there no other way to get the poison out of Lori’s body?

He had already discussed this with Sheylie, but she told him the poison Quinn gave her was unique and undetectable. Currently, Lori looks very healthy, like a healthy child in general.

Richard concentrated in front of his computer for almost two hours without taking a break. He had tried to look everywhere for links to Quinn, but he didn’t know where Quinn might have kept the antidote.

He felt that Quinn had prepared this plan very carefully and had deliberately not visited the places she frequented for the past two weeks.

He couldn’t even ask Andrew, Quinn’s brother, because Andrew didn’t know where Quinn’s secret treasure was hidden.

.....

Richard facepalmed helplessly.

Why must Quinn involve an innocent child who has nothing to do with anything?

He was too confident to think Quinn would never hurt the little girl she liked. He never believed that Quinn would actually have the heart to poison a child to corner him.

He knew Quinn would dislike Lori when she discovered that Lori was his biological child. But it had never crossed his mind that she could hurt the little girl she once liked.

Quinn, in his memory, was a loveable and very playful child. The girl was indeed a bit selfish and arrogant, but he and Raymond could still accept it because Quinn’s temperament was still acceptable. She always listened to them and corrected her mistake when they scolded her.

But Quinn’s manner got worse as they grew up. And Richard started to find Quinn disgusting because of her unreasonable request two years ago.

(Flashback to two years ago)

One day, Quinn whined, asking Richard to be her date to attend the graduation party of her college friends. Because Richard valued Quinn like his baby sister, Richard obeyed and was willing to become the girl’s fake lover.

Richard put on a friendly smile to return the greeting of Quinn’s friends and granted Quinn’s request to help chase away the young men who tried to flirt with her.

Quinn, whose name sounded like a queen, was the queen of her campus. Her beautiful face was like a fairy in a fairy tale, with goldish blond hair and green eyes like emeralds, making all the young men fall in love with her.

In the past, when Richard and Raymond first met Quinn, they also fell in love with her and doted on her by granting the girl whatever she wanted.

In contrast to Harmonie, who sometimes acts more mature than her age, Quinn acts spoiled and asks cutely and adorably.

Richard and Raymond wished their younger sister to be as childish and demanding as Quinn, but Harmonie always insisted on doing everything herself and not bothering anyone else.

What an unadorable sister!

That’s why they turned their attention to Quinn, who loved to get attention.

Unfortunately, they didn’t know that was the beginning of their mistake.

Quinn grew bolder and demanded their attention. Quinn was green in envy toward anyone who tried to get the twins’ attention. She didn’t even let Harmonie talk to them, even though the other girl was their biological sister.

The problem was Harmonie herself didn’t mind and felt Quinn was so childish that she never complained. As long as Quinn didn’t interfere with her sibling bond with her brothers, Harmonie gave no care.

After all, Harmonie spent more time with her two older brothers because they often vacation abroad. So she didn’t mind if her two older brothers spent more time with Quinn whenever the girl visited their house.

Richard was the first to notice Quinn’s strange behavior and began to see that many of the women who had once been his close friends were now avoiding him. When he did several interrogations, he realized that his female friends had been injured a lot and had received threats to stay away from the twins if they didn’t want to go to the hospital.

Hearing this made Richard frown and suspicious that Quinn was the cause of his friend’s injuries. But he had no proof, and he still couldn’t believe that Quinn could hurt someone.

Even though he decided not to think about it too much, Richard still tried to keep Quinn at a distance. He was starting to give her the cold shoulder and was not interested in getting in touch with Quinn.

As a result, Quinn didn’t push through and was even more attached to Raymond than she was. However, Quinn tried to get in touch again four years ago since Raymond was settling and living in the west.

Quinn often complained that she had an older brother, but she felt she had none, and that explained why she always ran to get comfort from Raymond.

Alas, Raymond was married, and it was impossible for Quinn to get too close to Rei without making his wife jealous.

Because of that, the only brother who could be a place of consolation was Richard, and finally, Richard granted her because he felt sorry for her.

But his pity disappeared on the night of the university graduation party where Quinn attends college.
