Earth's Greatest Magus

Chapter 2368 Guidance

Chapter 2368  Guidance

On this particular day, Dillion was in charge of the training. His booming voice echoed across the yard as he challenged the Hall 6 acolytes. Hardy stepped forward confidently, bringing Titus and Aremnius with him, leading a group of six lower realm acolytes. They put up a solid fight, but within five minutes, Dillion had defeated them, each strike of his sword precise and calculated.

Next, Blaine came forward with Bellana and Evalice, leading six insectoid half-bloods. Their battle lasted a bit longer, but in the end, Dillion's skill overwhelmed them as well. He offered advice between strikes, pointing out where they could improve. Once the dust settled, they too bowed, acknowledging their defeat.

Dillion then turned to Ullong, raising his sword. "What about you?" he asked.

Ullong shifted uncomfortably and shook his head. "No… thank you, senior. I'm not feeling too well, er... I had food poisoning"

Ha Ron and Kingrig stepped forward, eager to test their skills. They looked ready, determination in their eyes. However, just as they were about to begin, Emery's voice rang out, signaling the end of the session. "That's enough for now."

Emery called the three of them—Ha Ron, Kingrig, and Dillion—to follow him.

They entered the Khaos hub and watched in surprise as another identical Emery emerged from the domain gate. The moment he appeared, the previous Emery disintegrated into ash, vanishing in front of their eyes.

The three acolytes stood frozen for a moment, realizing that the Emery who had been training them was a mere clone. They quickly turned to the real Emery and voiced their respect "Master."

Emery had spent the last few months immersed in his training, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of the laws of nature and light. After hearing about Dillion's arrival and the academy's progress, he decided it was time for a break, eager to witness firsthand how the young acolytes were faring.

"You may begin,"

As he watched from the sidelines, he took note of Dillion's impressive improvement. The newly advanced Magus wielded his heavy sword with fierce precision, his movements fluid and powerful. Ha Ron and Kingrig launched a series of swift attacks, but they struggled to penetrate Dillion's defenses. It quickly became apparent to Emery that the Earth acolytes were not yet strong enough to match Dillion's new prowess.

Seeing the situation unfold, Emery decided to call upon additional help.

"You are calling for me, Father?" came a familiar voice, Shinta stepped in from one of the Khaos doors.

The moment she joined the battle, the atmosphere shifted; her presence was electrifying, instantly changing the flow of the battle. Together, they formed a formidable team against Dillion, each attack coordinated and strategic.

"That was amazing! I heard you're in the top ten right now," Dillion remarked, casually swinging his sword while casting gravity spells that rippled through the air.

"I'm third rank!—it's a big difference!" Shinta replied and unleashed her Shaman form. This burst of power allowed her to break free from Dillion's gravity restraints, matching his prowess blow for blow.

With Shinta's interruption, both Kingrig and Ha Ron found their footing as well, shaking off the residual effects of Dillion's spells. They joined the fray with renewed determination, their attacks becoming more synchronized as they worked together against their formidable opponent.

The training session ramped up in intensity. For more than 30 minutes, the four acolytes engaged in a fierce battle. Finally, Emery decided it was time to step in. He approached the group with a simple wooden stick in hand. He casually strikes out at each of them, pointing out their flaws, and skillfully exploiting gaps in their defenses. After the sparring session, Emery gathered the four acolytes around him to offer some more personalized guidance. Kingrig, known for his overly aggressive style, was the first to receive advice. Emery pointed out that Kingrig's heavy reliance on fast power attacks left him vulnerable when an opponent managed to counter. To help balance his approach, Emery modified the [Mineralized Warrior] spell, shifting it from a combination of darkness and earth elements to lightning.

This change allowed Kingrig to summon multiple lightning clones, which would enhance his combat versatility without sacrificing his aggressive tendencies. The improvement gave Kingrig a way to maintain offensive pressure while adding a strategic layer to his approach.

For Ha Ron, Emery focused on helping him perfect the [Darkness Infusion] and [Shadow Edge] spells. By teaching him how to channel the darkness element more fluidly into his sword, Emery showed Ha Ron how to make his blade significantly more lethal.

While Emery guided Kingrig and Ha Ron, Shinta and Dillion observed the session with keen interest. Shinta, with her exceptional talent, quickly absorbed the instructions given to the other two acolytes, effortlessly internalizing the lessons and thinking of ways to adapt them to her own abilities. However, when Emery shifted his focus to Dillion, the situation was different. The gravity spell was far more advanced, a power not everyone could wield, making it challenging even for the most talented to replicate.

[Dillion] Nôv(el)B\\jnn

[Magus Realm - Crescent Moon]

[Law of Darkness - 8%]

[Law of Gravity - 3%]

[Battle power: 198]

[Soul force: 112]

Now that Dillion had broken through to the Magus realm, Emery had much more to teach the young Magus. His lessons were meticulous, guiding Dillion through complex techniques to harness gravity's force more effectively.

This, however, seemed to irritate Shinta, who stood nearby with a slight frown.

She crossed her arms and muttered, "Huh... Why don't I inherit your gravity talent as well? Am I not your daughter?"

Fortunately, Emery had recently gained new insights into the law of nature, allowing him to provide fresh guidance that immediately piqued Shinta's interest.

Once each of them received their personalized instructions, the four acolytes moved to different sections of the Khaos hub, finding secluded areas where they could focus and channel the potent Khaos energy.

Meanwhile, Emery summoned the other Khaos seeds. One by one, they appeared, and Emery began to request detailed reports from each of them.
