Day Ninety-Three…

After dealing with Monica and Vincent, Jane and Nathan returned to the Sparks Mansion where their son was waiting for them.

Nathan left the final task with Axel to wrap up things in the abandoned warehouse. They released the members of King Stallion Mafia as part of the agreement with Vincent.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

On the other hand, Monica was brought to the Medical Facility of the Syphiruz Mafia. She was unconscious when she was rushed to the facility.

Veronica was the one who treated her. But she didn't recognize her sister because Monica underwent plastic surgery using Helena's face.

It did not take long before Jane and Nathan reached the Sparks Mansion.

"Mommy!" Ethan immediately ran in their direction upon seeing them at the door.

Jane hugged Ethan tightly, feeling fulfilled. She felt relieved and at ease now since Monica had been captured. She just hoped Monica could no longer scheme and commit more crime after this.

Meanwhile, Abigail and Dave approached them. Nathan left Ethan in their care this morning as he followed Jane to the abandoned warehouse.

"Thank you for taking care of Ethan while we are not around," Nathan thanked the couple.

Abigail smiled faintly. "No need to thank us, Mr. Sparks. Ethan is my nephew."

Dave nodded in agreement as he wrapped his arm around Abigail's shoulder. Then he moved his gaze to Jane, wondering if she had finally settled the score with Monica.

'I would rather not get involved with my sister-in-law's revenge plan. I can't afford to offend her and Mr. Hiroshi.' Dave thought to himself.

However, deep inside, he was still worried about Vincent.

"Have you talked to Vincent?" Dave asked Nathan and Jane, curious about what happened today.

Jane and Nathan exchanged glances with one another.

"Did you reconcile with Uncle Vincent?" Ethan butted in.

Nathan didn't know how to respond so Jane took cover for him.

"Don't worry, son. Your father and Uncle Vincent had talked. They came up with an agreement." Jane ruffled his hair.

Ethan smiled cheerfully. "I'm glad to know that, Mommy."

The little boy gazed up at his father with an approving look in his sparkling eyes. "Good job, Daddy. You are the best! Because of that, I'll give you a reward. Come here. Let me give you a Super Hug!"

Everyone let out a soft chuckle upon hearing Ethan's last remarks.

Jane was enjoying this cute interaction between Nathan and their son when suddenly her head throbbed and her vision became blurry.

For some unknown reason, she felt as if her surroundings were spinning. She tried to stay conscious, but dizziness overtook her. Before she could grab for support, Jane suddenly passed out in front of everyone.

"Jane!"

"Mommy!"

"Sis!"

Everyone called her out in unison while Nathan quickly caught her in his arms.

"Daddy! What's wrong with Mommy? Is she alright? Will she be okay?" Ethan asked his father in panic.

Nathan wasn't able to respond, his heart racing with uneasiness.

"Mr. Sparks, Let's bring her to the hospital!" Abigail urged Nathan who froze on his spot. He looked so shaken when Jane suddenly collapsed.

"Dad!!!"

Snapping out of his trance, Nathan didn't waste his time. He carried Jane, rushing her to the nearest hospital. Abigail, Dave, and Ethan followed them from behind.

Jane didn't know what had happened to her or how long she had been unconscious. The moment she opened her eyes, she found herself in an unfamiliar place.

She darted her gaze, only to be utterly shocked seeing three people lying on the sickbeds. She blinked several times, trying to clear her vision.

She didn't know if she were just imagining things or her eyes were just playing tricks on her.

"Where am I?" She uttered in confusion.

Jane moved closer, her body trembling in anxiousness and fear. She approached the two patients. Several tubes were connected to their bodies. The only sound she could hear was the beeping of the machines.

Jane staggered on her feet upon recognizing the two patients, her heart constricting inside her chest. Then she shifted her gaze to the other patient. Her face turned pale instantly.

"What the hell is going on here?" She mumbled in disbelief.

Before her eyes, she could see herself, along with Nathan and Ethan. The three of them were lying unconscious on their respective sickbeds. Their mouths were covered with an oxygen mask and several machine tubes connected to their bodies.

Jane shook her head, her mind in chaos. "Is this a dream? A premonition?! Why? Why are we here?"

She wanted to touch Nathan and Ethan, but for some unknown reason, her hands passed through them as if she had become a spirit.

Jane looked at her hands, still shocked and confused.

'No! This can't be true. I might be dreaming! I have to wake up! This is not true!' Jane reminded herself over and over again.

But no matter what she did, she didn't know how to wake up. She remained standing there, trapped in the ward.

"Bam-Bam! Where are you? Are you here?! Please show up! I need you!" Jane started calling the magical creature. He was the only one who could enlighten her about this strange phenomenon.

"Bam-Bam! Help! I'm trapped in a nightmare! Get me out of here!" Jane continued calling Bam-Bam desperately.

She couldn't bear to see Nathan and Ethan, lying on their sickbed, barely alive.

"Bam-Bam! Please. Why are you doing this to me?! I did everything to correct my past. I settled the score with Monica. I intend to live with Nathan and Ethan, having a fresh start with them. Why am I seeing this?" Jane felt so helpless right now. This was not the ending she wanted to see.

But to her dismay, Bam-Bam didn't show up. There was no sign of Magical Creature around her.

"Bam-Bam! What's going on here?"

Jane was still calling for Bam-Bam when suddenly the door of the ward slid open. She looked in that direction. Soon, she saw her father, Mr. Hiroshi.

"Pa!" She called him but Mr. Hiroshi didn't respond to her.

'Damn it! What is going on here?' Jane cussed inwardly.
