(System Detection: Target identified as a zombie, superhuman, warrior class, retaining residual energy from a parallel universe. Likely a special traveler.)

(Combat power index cannot be precisely measured yet. Recommended strategy: use Bramble Spell to harass and probe. Collect more information before initiating a destructive attack.)

"Is there no better option, Jarvis? This is my first time using magic in battle. Although we've simulated this countless times, I'd still prefer we go bold!"

Tony Stark said excitedly, his hands glowing with a shimmering light.

(As always, sir, that's your usual style.)

Jarvis's mechanical voice promptly responded, and the list of spell suggestions on the screen shifted to a new set of options.

(How about some fireworks? The Flames of Ellyssyr would suit this moment well.)

"Save that for a victory celebration. Right now, I want to release something... fun."

Tony glanced at the spell list displayed on the screen and shook his head slightly. Those low-level spells were already outdated.

He was no longer the novice magic apprentice he once was. Over these many years in this desolate and dark isolation, Tony Stark had mastered numerous powerful spells.

Today, he intended for Alex to witness firsthand just how powerful he had become after being "abandoned" in this shadowy abyss for so many years.

"Behold the power from another dimension."

Dispelling the Shield of Seraphim, Tony raised a finger. In an instant, starlight erupted, and a ghostly blue stellar ribbon unfurled, targeting Thundra.

Seeing the incoming attack, Thundra raised her sword to block. However, the immense corrosive power instantly eroded the blade, and the eerie light coiled around it like a relentless parasite.

By the time she realized it, it was too late to discard her weapon. The light had already spread up her arm. Without hesitation, Thundra brutally tore off her own arm to stop its advance.

"Damn you, man!"

With her remaining left arm, Thundra gave a sharp shake. A bracelet on her wrist produced a chain made of a special metal, its other end tied to a spiked flail—a weapon that radiated destructive power.

"You can keep mouthing off, lady. In the past, I might have been inclined to share a drink or dinner with you."

Tony Stark licked his lips, his gaze lingering on her well-proportioned figure, though her grotesque zombie visage was admittedly hard to stomach.

"Now's not the time, Stark! How can you think about that?" Reed Richards said, exasperated.

Reed had been ready to bring out some artifacts earlier, but seeing Stark join the battle, he held back for now.

"You try being locked up for years and see what happens!"

Tony retorted without turning around. Then, with a grin, he added, "Relax, I'm not that desperate. You're overthinking it."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

During their exchange, Thundra's spiked flail came crashing toward Tony with ferocious speed.

Without any instructions needed, Tony's magic cloak reacted perfectly, pulling him back and lifting him into the air to avoid the strike.

The very next moment, Tony Stark uttered a spell.

"Touch of Exalon!"

The air solidified into a storm of razor-sharp fragments that hurled toward Thundra.

This spell, an entry-level version of the Catastrophe Wind, could also be described as its white magic counterpart. While it delivered similar damage, it lacked the unhealable wound characteristic of its counterpart.

With the battlefield firmly under control and victory tipping in their favor, Alex nodded slightly. He then shifted his focus to Quasar, who had remained motionless in the distance.

From the start, Alex hadn't rushed to act. Even with the arrival of Sentry and Hulk, his attention stayed locked on zombie Quasar—or more specifically, the object in his hands.

-------------------------------

Quasar, whose real name was Wendell Vaughn, had once used the monikers "Marvel Boy" and "Marvel Man." Later, due to certain circumstances, he adopted the name Quasar and began his journey as a superhero.

Wendell had initially been an outstanding S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, graduating with top marks from the agency's academy. However, his inherent kindness made it difficult for him to be assigned to high-value missions, leaving him relegated to security details.

One day, during a security mission, they were attacked by the murderous Brainwave. The assailant's goal was clearly the artifact Wendell was guarding. Determined to protect others, Wendell chose to use the artifact himself.

His entire power now stems from the artifact, a legendary creation of Eternity itself—the Quantum Bands.

For billions of years, the Quantum Bands had been wielded by champions chosen by Eon. These individuals used the immense power of the bands to safeguard the universe's peace.

In many ways, Quasar bears a striking resemblance to Green Lantern. Both acquired some of the universe's most powerful relics and, under the protection of greater cosmic forces, became Earth's defenders.

However, unlike the Green Lantern, Eon is a legitimate offspring of the concept of eternity itself—a terrifying, multiverse-level existence without a physical form. It's hard to imagine that such a being's "bodyguard" could end up infected and turned into a zombie.

The Quantum Bands, a weapon on par with Infinity Stones, still weren't being used to their full potential by Quasar. He could only rely on his imagination to crudely shape energy molecules into various constructs for attacks. It was akin to the Lantern Rings but distinct in its application.

"Your era is over, Quasar," Alex said softly, his tone devoid of any emotion, as though stating a fact.

"Is that so? I don't think so." Quasar clenched his fists, golden energy converging around his hands.

He had seen the downfall of the Zombie Alliance with his own eyes. While Zombie Spider-Man's demise could be chalked up to recklessness, Namor's was pure domination.

Thundra and Moon Knight were still barely holding on, but Quasar knew that the odds of victory were slim. They didn't have much time to wait for Sentry and Hulk to finish off that Superman and return. From the distant sound of explosions, Quasar could sense how intense the battle on that front was.

Even though he didn't know how powerful that Superman was, the fact that he alone was holding off three of the most formidable members of the Zombie Alliance proved his strength.

Feeling the energy of the Quantum Bands coursing through him, Quasar gritted his teeth. He was torn between fleeing from the battlefield, having already foreseen the fight's outcome, and succumbing to the gnawing hunger that had nearly driven him insane after years without fresh meat.

"Seems like long-term starvation really does build resistance. Another little trick from the contagion creators," Alex's voice suddenly echoed in Quasar's mind, making him shiver.

He hadn't expected this strange man to have mental powers strong enough to read his thoughts.

"What contagion? What are you talking about?!"

"Nothing," Alex replied with a faint shake of his head. "It doesn't matter anymore—or rather, it doesn't matter to you."

With that, Alex reached behind him and drew a black umbrella.

In an instant, pitch-black shadows surged forth, morphing into countless tentacles that spread toward Quasar's position.

Seeing this, Quasar clasped his hands together, unleashing a surge of brilliant photon energy that shot out toward the incoming tentacles.

Light and darkness clashed, splitting the sky into two.

The dazzling interplay of light and shadow created a disorienting spectacle, like being in a hallucinatory nightclub.

"It's pointless, sorcerer! Even the Sorcerer Supreme became our feast—you're no exception! Your magic can't harm me!"

Quasar roared, increasing the output of his photon energy. The tentacles recoiled under the intense light, retreating and curling away.

Yet Alex's expression remained calm. He gazed at Quasar indifferently, raising an eyebrow ever so slightly.

"Perhaps you should look up?"

At Alex's words, Quasar frowned, sensing a sudden surge of danger.

He instinctively looked up and saw a massive celestial body glowing in the sky, growing larger and brighter in his view.

"You call yourself Quasar, don't you? I figured a meteor of this magnitude shouldn't be too difficult for you to handle," Alex said with a trace of amusement in his eyes. Spinning his umbrella lightly, he tapped his fingers in the air rhythmically. Soon, more starry glimmers appeared in the heavens.

"You—you're planning to destroy this place?!"

Quasar's survival instincts finally overcame his hunger as he watched the incoming meteors. Without a second thought, he turned and accelerated skyward, maneuvering around the incoming asteroid field and escaping into space.

Watching Quasar's trajectory, Alex shook his head slightly.

"The Blue Area of the Moon, huh? That guy sure knows where to hide. But it seems Zombie Pym is still lurking there too. Cleaning up both won't be an issue."

"Clark, stay sharp."

With a slight flick of his hand, Alex redirected the incoming meteor shower mid-flight.

The massive celestial rocks swerved impossibly in their trajectory, veering sharply toward New York.

Since this world no longer had any living humans and the entire universe was nearly devoured by the zombies, Alex figured he could let loose a bit.

"This place is yours to handle. I'll go finish this once and for all."

Looking down at the ongoing battles below, Alex issued his statement and turned toward the Moon, chasing after Quasar.
