Chapter 11 Ill give you a ten-meter head start

Ah!

Theres a car ahead!

In an abrupt twist of events, Wang Yun unexpectedly accelerated, causing a moment of shock among the viewers. Yet, their surprise turned into alarm when they spotted a car hurtling toward him at sixty kilometers per hour. Given the speed and proximity, a collision seemed unavoidable.

Especially for the viewers who were watching the live broadcast from Wang Yuns first-person perspective, they could see even more clearly the oncoming car. The intense realism of the head-on collision made everyones hearts tighten and their faces turn pale instantly.

Yet, in that instant, an astonishing scene unfolded. Wang Yun split his strides, converting his forward momentum into upward force. He guided his arms upwards, performing a 360-degree spin in mid-air. Drawing in his legs and rolling to cushion the impact, he executed a flawless sideways flip with a perfect roll.

He passed directly over the car. Landing lightly, Wang Yun sensed the halted footsteps behind him. Chewing on his gum, he turned to look behind him.

On the opposite side, Saomao and two officers stared at him, their faces full of shock.

Hehe! Wang Yun chuckled, spreading his arms wide in their direction. Following that, he waved his hand, signaling them to keep up.

Moving swiftly, Wang Yun scanned the road ahead, noticed a construction site, and ran toward it.

Many cities were undergoing renovations and building new skyscrapers. Tower after tower sprouted from the ground, with many still under construction.

After him.

Saomao, seeing Wang Yuns provocative gesture, gritted his teeth and let out a low growl. His face was grave and extremely uncomfortable.

If he had time to prepare for Wang Yuns swift and smooth action, he might have dared to replicate it. But not like that. He didnt dare. This also made him realize that this fugitive was not simple.

At this moment, all the viewers in the livestream room gasped in astonishment. They had their eyes glued to the screen in astonishment just after two moves.

What did I just see? That was too thrilling, is this parkour? Its daredevil!

Parkour is inherently dangerous. Just from this single move, we can see Wang Yuns strength. Amazing!

Saomaos face has changed, completely losing his initial ease.

On the livestream, Wang Yun quickly reached the roadside railing. With a lazy jump, he flipped over it. Following that, he dashed straight into the construction site.

Ahead, there was a little cart used for hauling cement. The camera showed a forward flip, soaring over it.

Hey, what are you doing? The construction sites security personnel saw this scene and immediately yelled.

Stop! Trailing behind, the two officers flanking Saomao loudly reprimanded him.

Saomaos face hardened as he mirrored Wang Yuns maneuver. He executed a front flip, soaring cleanly over the small cement cart. His pace quickened, his eyes locked unflinchingly on Wang Yuns retreating figure.

Ahead of them loomed a building under construction. Wang Yun approached its already completed two-meter-high exterior wall at a full sprint. As his body neared the wall, his right foot planted itself on the vertical surface, propelling him upwards. His hand lightly gripped the wall, effortlessly carrying him to the second floor, a textbook demonstration of a wall-run jump.

Upon reaching the second floor, Wang Yun immediately resumed his sprint straight ahead. In the center of the floor, several unopened steel pipes lay scattered. Maintaining his momentum, he easily vaulted over each erected steel pipe using a sideways hand-flip grip on the railing.

After a continuous dash, Wang Yun slowed down, sensing the flurry of movement behind him. He gradually pivoted around to find Saomao hot on his heels, pursuing him fervently. However, Saomao was evidently slower, with over ten meters separating the two.

Ill wait ten meters for you, Wang Yun declared casually, his gaze fixed on Saomao.

Upon hearing Wang Yuns words, Saomaos face clouded over, his expression shifting.

Amidst these comments, the livestream was in an uproar. Saomao, known as the number one parkour tracer, had let Wang Yun take a ten-meter lead. Now, he was lagging ten meters behind. It was an undeniable blow to his pride.

666, haha, too incredible! Big Brother Wang Yun, youre simply outstanding! Can you handle a ten-meter head start?

Saomao: Ill let you run ten meters ahead. And now, Wang Yun: Ill wait for you ten meters. Haha, what a show of dominance.

Is this the legendary slap in the face at light speed?

Is this supposed to be the countrys number one parkour expert? Then why is he trailing behind Wang Yun?

Meanwhile, the viewers were in awe of Wang Yuns graceful and fluid parkour. He scaled the second floor effortlessly and vaulted over each obstacle with ease.

Today, I will catch you no matter what, Saomao growled, feeling the sting of humiliation. With a burst of energy, he chased after Wang Yun with renewed vigor.

Wang Yun, seeing Saomao run about ten meters, immediately pivoted around. His eyes darted toward the staircase leading to the third floor and he sprinted towards it.

Moon Step.* he exclaimed, planting his feet on the wall beside the stairs and propelling himself upwards. His hands seized the edge of the rock wall, effortlessly lifting him to the third floor.

Behind him, Saomao, witnessing Wang Yuns rapid ascent, had a subtle shift in his expression. He took a deep breath and attempted the Moon Step as well, but his speed was notably slower, much slower. The gap in their skills was evident.

Note:

*Im not sure what move Moon Step is in parkour. Ive searched the web for it and found nothing. I assume is made up.
