Athena paid no further attention to the chatter of those around her. She had done what she needed to do, everything within her power.

Activating her system panel, she inspected the markers on the map. It seemed Mikmik over there had likely completed his task and wasn't moving anymore.

Along Athena's escape route, she could always hear the curses directed at her from those behind.

Athena was certain of their strength, comparable to the top ten contenders, yet they hadn't entered that elite rank for some reason.

Their eyes widened, pupils shrinking as they watched the thousands of troops behind Athena turn and flee. Still, they saw the eerie smile on Athena's face and wished they could kill her right then, but they too turned and ran.

Sometimes, you don't need to outrun others; you just need to outrun your teammates.

Athena pushed off a tree trunk with all her might, unexpectedly rebounding in front of the two.

She could almost see veins bulging on their faces, but it was only temporary.

"Not bad speed. You might survive for a while," the Witch Cloak's pretty face turned sinister and terrifying, barely paying attention to the giant bees behind while preparing to strike Athena.

A white light, completely different from the explosive glow, flashed, and Athena disappeared on the spot, leaving the two to sprint for their lives.

Joining in their mad dash were players who had originally come just to observe.
