Chapter 880 Two And Then One
Lee Seng jumped backwards to Olivia, pulling the shards out of him. Cars beeped as Lee Seng grabbed Olivia's hand and pulled her away. They rushed through the cars, eventually hearing the noises of the two last Deimons.
"Do we really need to get them, babe?" The girl asked.
"They killed the rest of the group!" The man growled and rushed forward, producing flames from their feet. The Deimon man pushed the flames out of his feet, soaring through the air and going straight for Olivia. Lee Seng and Olivia glanced behind them. Lee Seng pushed Olivia forward, sending her fifteen feet forward. The Deimon slammed against the ground, swinging his fist straight for Lee Seng.
Lee Seng blocked the attack as the girl rushed forward. Ice billowed from her hands as she fired at Lee Seng. Lee Seng's tails swiped the ice away as he landed a punch onto the Deimon man's face. The man grunted, stumbling backwards as a blast of cold ice flew between Lee Seng and the Deimon.
Olivia reached for the ground, pushing the earth upwards as cold ice flew past her. She slammed her hand into the wall, sending the wall forward. Lee Seng jumped backwards, watching the wall fly past, stopping the Deimon man from advancing onto Lee Seng.
Lee Seng swung Sun blade, swinging it straight for the Deimon's neck. The Deimon slammed against the wall, allowing Lee Seng to move up with a palm strike. Gravity exploded outwards, destroying the wall and embedding the man in it. Lee Seng's sword burned bright as he went in for the kill.
"Gra!" The ice Deimon screamed. She darted out, letting icicles build and threw it in between Lee Seng and her fiery lover. Lee Seng watched as the ice explode, sending him backwards.
"Paralyze!" Olivia froze the fiery Deimon man as the ice Deimon landed next to her lover. Her form shifted, ice horns growing out her forehead as her hair turned pure white. She let out a cold breath as she protectively put an arm out to protect her man.
"You ain't getting him!" The ice Deimon screamed. "You're gonna have to go through me!" Olivia flipped her dagger in the air and snatched it. She let a smile out as she sprinted forward. The ice Deimon screeched and rushed to meet her. Her fiery lover watched as the Fox pull himself out of the crushed cars.
"No, don't!" The fiery Deimon yelled. He tried to move his body but it wasn't moving like he wanted it to. Lee Seng spun Sun blade and closed his eyes. He pointed the blade downwards and slowly opened his eyes, meeting the fiery Deimon's fearful gaze. "Grace, don't it's a trap!"
The ice Deimon slid to a stop, turning as Lee Seng's sword fell through the space. Olivia slashed the Deimon's face and plunged the dagger into her shoulder.
"Recombination: Paradise!" Olivia pulled away, watching the dagger explode in metal and glass. The ice Deimon howled as she clutched the metal and glass. It ripped through her body, exploding outwards.
"Grace, no!" The fiery Deimon shouted. His body began to burn bright. His body moved, ending the paralyzation as he reached for his icy lover. She dropped into his arms, becoming more prickly. The fiery Deimon shook his head, crying tears that instantly burned away. His fiery body lit the oils and the gases within his lover.
"Please, no!" The icy Deimon shouted. "I don't want to go! I don't want to—" The fiery Deimon's sadness faded and a sadistic smile grew. He pushed himself onto her, taking a bite out of her neck as she screamed. He tore threw her until there was nothing left. The Deimon slowly rose with cold blood dripping down his mouth.
'H-he ate her.' Olivia gasped. She tried to steel herself as the Deimon's form shifted. Two horns sprouted out of his forehead, branching into more split horns. The fiery Deimon's hair lit up, burning in white flames as a cold breath fell from his lips.
"Ah, I knew you'd be worth it, babe." The Deimon smirked. The Deimon's claws grew from ice. He looked up at Lee Seng, his frown dying. "You. You were about to do something… I wonder what." The Deimon rushed forward as Lee Seng disappeared. The sword had long disappeared, leaving Lee Seng time to prepare his next attack.
The Deimon snatched in the air, grabbing Lee Seng's throat and pinning hims onto the nearest car. The cars beeped as Lee Seng grabbed the Deimon's arm and tried to peel it off. Fire and ice burned Lee Seng as he pushed the Deimon off him.
Flame and ice whipped around the Deimon as the ground around them shook. Lee Seng dashed forward, sending his tails forward. The Deimon dodged the first three tails, watching as the fourth and fifth pin him against the wall.
"Solarium: Sunfall." A pillar of light exploded on the Deimon, scorching him to bits as Olivia turned her eyes away.
"Blazing glory!" The Deimon exploded into pure flames, burning everything around as Lee Seng reached for Olivia.
"Liv!" Lee Seng shouted. Everything around him was scorched by the time he looked up. Gray muck melted as Olivia grabbed his attention.
"C'mon, let's go!" Olivia pulled Lee Seng away. She looked like she was burning in some spots. She tried her best to hide her pain, but Lee Seng could tell she had only enough time to barely protect both of them.
'Healing Aura.' Lee Seng thought as he ran besides her. He let the golden light wash over them as the Deimon howled.
"Ah, fuck!" The Deimon screamed. He patted himself as his skin burned. "I didn't think it would do that! Argh! It didn't even kill them!" The Deimon sprinted after Lee Seng and Olivia, who occasionally glanced behind them. Lee Seng sped up lifting Olivia up. The two zoomed through the scorched park garage. The pillars shook as they turned, going straight for the melted parking garage door.
The Deimon flung icy fireballs, watching the Fox and Biohuman dodge them. The icy fireballs exploded in an ice patch, immediately bursting to flame as the duo zoomed out of the melting parking garage.
"Where do we go now?" Olivia asked.
"Staying in that parking garage will only get us killed." Lee Seng replied. He lowered both of them onto the street, turning to watch a fiery ball fly at them. The Sun blade manifested in his hand as he swung and slashed the fireball. It exploded in ice and fire, covering their vision.
"Rahhh!" The fiery Deimon swung at Lee Seng, punting him backwards past Olivia. The Deimon stepped forward, swinging his claws straight for Olivia. Olivia dodged the attacks, pulling Lee Seng back as the claws narrowly scratched his head. The two jumped backwards, dodging the Deimon's attacks. Flames grew in his hand as he swung it down the middle.
Lee Seng and Olivia split, sliding off to the side as the Deimon stopped and looked at both of them. The Deimon rushed for Lee Seng, giving him little time to react as he released a fury of flaming scratches in the air. Lee Seng jumped backwards, feeling his skin burn.
Olivia re-summoned her dagger. 'It's depleted.' Olivia thought as she slid the dagger back into its place. 'I'm going to have to do this the other way.' She sprinted off to the right towards the leftover energy and slid across the fiery ice. 'Breaking energy is harder than breaking materials, but Lee Seng should give me enough time to do this.'
Olivia hovered her hand over the ice and slowly sucked a breath in and then out. The energy lifted around her, flying around as Lee Seng punched at the Deimon. The Deimon and Lee Seng peeled off of each other, allowing Lee Seng time to spin his blade. The Deimon turned to look for Olivia, spotting her at his spot doing something odd.
Lee Seng lurched forward, swinging the blade straight for his head. The Deimon exploded in far, reappearing with a breath of ice. Lee Seng froze in place as the Deimon swung straight for him. Gravity caught the Deimon's hand, holding him still as the ice shattered.
"Solarium: Dance of the Fire Fox." Lee Seng exploded in golden light, disappearing as a golden Fox swung its tails at the Deimon. The Deimon jumped backwards, getting his leg caught in the tails. The fox wrapped its tails around his legs and threw him straight into the ground, shattering the road around him.
Fire and ice exploded out of the Deimon's body, freezing and burning the fox's tails. The Fox roared, washing flames and ice away. The fox pulled the tails away, watching the fiery Deimon skyrocket straight into the air. Lee Seng reappeared next to the fox, setting his hand on it.
'What's he doing now?' Lee Seng as the fox sat and waited. He peered from the corner of his eyes toward Olivia. 'I wonder what she's doing.' The storm grew large as Olivia slowly stood up with shaking legs. 'What did she do in two years that made her control energy to such a minuscule level like that?'
"You're going to look away from battle right now?" The fiery Deimon drew Lee seng's attention back onto him. He spun in the air, coming to a stop as flames kept him from falling to the ground. "I was going to turn you in, but I think I'll just take you for myself now." The Deimon grinned at LeE Seng who stared at him with uninstrest.
"Can you hurry up and do what you're going to do? I wanna see what she's doing." Lee Seng motioned. The Deimon growled, exploding in flames. Lee Seng lifted his sword onto his shoulder and looked at the fox.
"I'm not sure what you're capable of, but Keng summoned you once. You must be useful, right?" Lee Seng asked the fox. The fox barked and Lee Seng nodded. "Can you protect her while she's doing that? I'll handle him." The fox barked again and Lee Seng smiled, taking a step forward. "What do you mean I'll get burnt to a crisp before I even try? I'm the one who made you, y'know. Just do what I say." The fox growled and then turned towards Olivia, leaving their master. Lee Seng looked up at the flaming Deimon coming straight at him. "Gate XI Unlock."
