Chapter 460 Villain Cultivator 2.0 (14)

Chapter 460 – Villain Cultivator 2.0 (14)

It had been two months since Kai was dead. Miaomiao finally solidified his new dantian universe, and he could bring people inside.

His three human toys already gave birth to three goblin sons, and they got pregnant again. In less than a month, they would give birth to another batch of goblins.

Since it was time to move, Miaomiao pulled them into his dantian universe. Then, he got out of the burrow to search for more women to be his seedbeds.

His next target was the fortress and the previous camp.

At night, Miaomiao arrived at the forest near the outpost camp. He spied on the knights and adventurers there.

It had been two months since the death of Kai. The camp was reinforced, and many strong knights were stationed there. Miaomiao noticed over 200 7-circle mages and knights in the camp. Moreover, there was no woman here.

Without women, there was no incentive of attacking this place. He quietly left and moved to other places. He revisited the raided village next.

Upon arrival, Miaomiao was slightly disappointed. The destroyed village was left abandoned. The crops withered as nobody took care of them, and no knight or mage bothered with it.

Miaomiao looked at the run-down shacks and wooden cabins. He sneaked into one of the biggest houses to see if the corpses were around. However, they were no longer there. When Miaomiao left the village, he found a graveyard of the villagers.

It seemed that someone buried them all. The small grave of a child had a broken doll on top of it.

Miaomiao stood in front of the child's grave. He still remembered that he killed a human child to gain power. Despite the savage and cocky nature of Miaomiao, he stood there for a minute, gazing at the graves and paying respect to the dead. He didn't know what drove his body to lower his head and bowed 90 degrees to the graves.

"Your death was necessary for me, and I won't ask you for your forgiveness. I hope you will delay your reincarnation until the chaos is over. Next time, reincarnate as a goblin and serve the true overlord of this dantian universe."

Miaomiao deeply sighed and raised his head. He turned away from the grave and was about to leave. But as he turned around, a shadow silhouette of a knight slowly approached Miaomiao.

Their eyes glowed in the dark, and their gazes met.

"…"

Miaomiao's left hand touched the hilt of Killer Queen, preparing to unsheathe and kill the knight.

The knight also stared at Miaomiao for a while. However, he snorted and walked out of the shadow, showing his appearance.

He was a middle-aged silver knight, carrying a bouquet of flowers and a bear plushy doll. A large tower shield was attached to his back, and his long sword was hoisted on his waist. However, the silver knight didn't bother bringing out his weapon to confront Miaomiao.

Miaomiao stood there, watching the human knight. The latter walked past the goblin and put the flower bouquet in front of a grave next to a child's grave. Then, he put the bear doll next to the broken plush doll.

"I told them that it was a bad idea to move here. They didn't listen," uttered the knight. He continued talking, "Sarah, your husband failed you. I should have been braver and asked the Castellan to transfer me to Vapex Fort, so I could be stationed in this frontier village."

"…"

Miaomiao's spider-sense was tingling. He had a feeling that their encounter was a flag of a major development. Still, he couldn't suppress his curiosity. He asked the knight.

"Are they your family?"

The knight's expression didn't change. He replied, "My wife and daughter."

"My condolence."

"… I never thought I would hear that from a hobgoblin."

"I never thought that I would have a proper conversation with a human either."

"Hmm."

The silver knight deeply sighed. He slowly stood up and stretched, "You'd better leave while I'm being sentimental. I'm not in the mood to fight."

Miaomiao snickered, "I thought we are your mortal enemies."

"Only savage goblins and their overlords are our enemies, not you."

"Hoh?" Miaomiao was curious, "Why are you sparing me but not the other goblins?"

"Because you didn't ravish my wife and daughter. Other goblins would have done so."

"…"

Miaomiao narrowed his eyes, stunned that the guy could tell who the killer was. He scanned the strength of the silver knight.

A few seconds later, Miaomiao's expression darkened. This guy had a total of 48 mana circles in him, forming a complex array around his heart. His strength was comparable to a 48-star stellar constellation immortal.

The knight noticed Miaomiao's expression and the fluctuation of energy. He scoffed, "I'm an immortal knight. I have a unique skill that can read objects' memory. I saw you assassinated everybody here and stole their life force."

"Aren't you mad that I killed your wife and daughter?" Miaomiao questioned the knight's sanity. He wondered if this guy was crazy as normal people would have attacked him right away.

"I do, but I prefer them to die painlessly. Well, you did grant them a painless death. I appreciate that. At least, they wouldn't suffer a fate worse than death by getting turned into goblin seedbeds or being eaten alive."

"I don't eat humans, though."

"Hahaha! I know. I don't sense corrupted mana from you," The silver knight turned his attention to the grave again. He repeated his offer. "Go, now. Don't let any human sees you. Oh, do me a favor. If you ever need to kill or capture some sows, take the knights or mages, not the helpless commoners."

"Yeah, there's no point killing commoners. I only did it once to survive."

"I know."

Miaomiao gave the knight a meaningful look. He cupped his fist like a cultivator and saluted to the knight. Then, he walked away, disappearing into the dark night.

.

.

The knight quietly gazed at the tombstones of his wife and his daughter. He shed no tear, and he seemed calm. However, his left hand never stopped shaking, and his left leg was so stiff that he couldn't lift it.

Josh was a 1000-man commander of the Vanir Fort, located 10 kilometers away from this village. Despite being an immortal, he had been suffering from Parkinson's disease due to the curse of a local goblin overlord. Although it decreased his combat potential by half, he could have easily killed Miaomiao.

However, Josh didn't feel like killing Miaomiao. He had his reason for sparing Miaomiao's life and keeping him alive.

First, someone once told him that goblins were the necessary scapegoats to keep every country and human united. Without them, nations would have started waging war against each other for resources.

And secondly, it related to his need, which was related to his curse.

Josh thought of a certain baby prince, whom he met in a rural mansion. He still remembered the prince's determined eyes, which looked like a veteran soldier that had been through a war. Moreover, that prince taught Josh about philosophy and how to cure the curse.

'I need immortal goblin's blood. That hobgoblin is too weak. He's just an eight circle.'

Josh deeply sighed and gazed at this left hand. He clenched it, suppressing the shake. Then, he thought of the prince's appointment. He needed to remove this curse and rendezvous with the prince next year.

He wondered if Miaomiao would successfully become an immortal goblin within a year. He wondered if he could give the goblin a little push.

'Goblins gets stronger by eating human or absorbing our life force. If I can use him to kill some of the crooked nobles in my army, I can kill two birds with one stone. I get to remove annoying pricks while I boost that goblin's strength. Yeah, that should be the plan. I should bait him to attack the fort that Jacques and his cronies are in.'
