Chapter 487  Strange Benevolence[Bonus Chapter]

Chapter 487  Strange Benevolence[Bonus Chapter]

"Takamahagara..."

"That is the name of our cosmos at its full. Takamahagara..." The words echoed through the cavernous hall where two figures stood.

One holding a flaming stick lighted with green flames, while the other stood behind him, eyes looking at the various inscriptions and various images drawn on the cave wall illuminated by Audrey.

They had descended continuously through a pit in the farthest area of the palace, then walked for three hours underground, passing through various hidden locks before finally arriving at the cave.

"Takamahagara..." Zeras mused out loud. Now that he mentioned it, only now did he find the word more than familiar.

"When Takamahagara was formed, it was a cosmos that gave birth to its own. The number of its first creation was limited, and those which were created by Takamahagara were known as gods.

Every bloodline you see, every power, every race you see, they all originated from this very people. They were the source of all other lives and possessed powers beyond our imagination..." Audrey said, illuminating the various runic symbols present on the wall that Zeras couldn't decipher.

"You can call them the origin. They could be said that once they come together, they would possess the power of Takamahagara itself."

"Or like Takamahagara divided itself amongst them..." Zeras whispered as Audrey gave a nod.

"These gods went ahead to create their own offspring, ones the same as them, both in bloodline and form. These people also go on to produce another offspring, and they too go on to produce offspring. It's an unending stream that would permeate till eternity..." Audrey explained as Zeras gave a nod.

That is how the creatures truly multiply without end...

"Takamahagara was whole, it was a world equal, a world of pride, until one day, it shattered! A war that raged through the world forcefully tearing apart Takamahagara into three parts. The lower realms where you were from suffered the most devastating damages.

A battle that resulted in the cosmic laws present in it getting forcefully erased, and forcefully tearing the balance of that part. It became abandoned by the majority of the race, yet there still leaves people living in it. That is where you come from, that is who you are. An offspring of the barbarians who refused to leave the place..." Audrey said as Zeras's eyebrows furrowed.

'No wonder there is no close to no law aura in the lower realms. So it was because it got destroyed in a war. A war that could result in the original law getting completely erased from existence. Just what level of power is that?' Zeras thought in his head.

"The upper realm is a place which suffered less from the war. Unlike the lower realms, its laws are still intact and its energy and life have not been drained. But still, the laws are only intact, they're not complete! There are some laws that have been erased too..." Audrey said as Zeras's eyes narrowed.

"And that is where the Prodigies War Event comes in. There are places where even though not complete laws, but still their laws are almost close to complete.

That is the God's children area of the upper realms, and that is where there are three most powerful sects. The Divine Battle Sect, the Thousand transformation sect, and the Divine Aether sect.

Those three sects are located at the highest echelon of the upper realms, and there, the law is more complete and the Mana at a level that we cannot imagine. It is believed that anyone with a 70% bloodline or more will reach the Undying realm rank if they were groomed by any of those three sects, and the only way for that to be accomplished is to sign up for the prodigies war event organized by those three sects for the lower areas of the upper realm.

"Hmmm, but why will they do that? What do those three sects have to gain from stretching a helping hand to you?" Zeras asked with a raised eyebrow. According to what he heard from Audrey, it was said that the God children's area of the upper realms had complete laws and mana.

Why would they ever want to make those who are in the lower ranking come share that rare resources?

It's just like the lower realms compared to the upper realms. Those in the upper realm do not fancy the lower realms at all. They call them lowlifes and just ignore them, saying that they are barbarians that couldn't be helped.

The same scenario could be said for the God's children area to the common area as well, so why would they offer help at all? The world wasn't a good and nice place.

They were thousands of races and each of them wanted to be better than the other, helping in this place is an incredibly funny and childish world.

"That's a reasonable question that none of us in the lower realm have an answer for."

"Huh?"

"We don't need an answer. When we have a genius with 70% bloodline purity and we allowed him to take the test.

Less than 200 years later, we would have an undying expert in our clan, which will lead to an automatic promotion and make us join the ranks of second-grade clans. No matter how you think of it, it is a win-win for us, and it requires no job from our side.

Almost like a free meal. Why would we bother asking why they're helping us? Perhaps it is simply because they wanted fairness and want to help us grow too. Who knows, who cares, so far we are winning?" Audrey asked as Zeras's eyebrows furrowed.

"And that doesn't sound wrong to someone like you?" Zeras asked as Audrey's smile receded and he sighed.

"Ahhhh, I know it sounds stupid and suspicious. They really do not have any reason to help us yet they do. It truly is suspicious. Why many clans don't pay attention, having been blinded by the prospects. Our Giarn's clan is not, and after years of searching for the reason for their strange benevolence. I have finally found it..."
