Chapter 508: Juyoung Hong (35)
So I moved to Myong-dong using Fly.
Shortly afterwards, I was looking down at his mansion in Myong-dong from the air.
"Man, it's huge like a palace!"
It was literally close to a royal palace.
Considering that it was located in the middle of Myong-dong, it was safe to say that it was more than a palace. So I could not help but exclaim, but I controlled myself quickly.
Checking my mask, hat and sunglasses I put on, I immediately deactivated Fly.
Then I plummeted towards the ground, and just as I was about to land, I used Blink with zero cooldown to move under the eaves of the palace-like house.
Obviously, I moved silently, but all of a sudden, loud sirens and bright lights began going off everywhere.
"Man...he must have hidden lots of stuff!"
Was it the CCTV around his mansion? Of course not.I literally moved in the darkness. And all I did was just touch the wall of the mansion.
Then the warning alarms began to ring.
Given that the bulk of his amassed wealth was illegal, he would more likely not have deposited it at the bank because the moment he did, he would be exposed.
In other words, he made it a rule to hide his personal assets in a secret place.
Taking his sense of tight security into account, it's most likely that he kept his personal assets in his mansion.
Since I was caught coming here, I threw a punch at the outer wall.
Bang!
Puck!
A large hole opened in the wall with the sound of something crashing. I leisurely stepped into the hole.
I wanted to surprise the owner of this mansion, but I was already caught, so I didn't have to hurry.
Just in case, I also wore a hat, sunglasses, and a mask.
When I entered the mansion, I saw a bed and some furniture.
The bed was in a clean condition as if nobody slept there. No matter how carefully I looked at it, it didn't look like Chaesan Lee's bedroom because the furniture was shabby and the room itself wasn't very big.
When I opened the door, and stepped through, several people shouted at me.
"Who is it?"
"How did you get here?"
"Don't move from that spot! I'll shoot if you move. This is a place even the police don't come to even if a bomb explodes!"
A group of men were already on standby outside the door.
They were pointing pistols at me as soon as I appeared.
"Man, now I know clearly why he is called the giant of the underground economy!"
I saw lots of weapons including anti-tank missiles, tanks and helicopters not only in Sierra Leone, but also in the place where my reality of 'Revival Legend' was actualized. But that's a thing of the past. It was different here. Besides, I'm in Korea. ř
Tramp- Tramp-
Since I knew they could not harm me with the pistols, I walked toward them.
I didn't have to converse with them, of course.
"Shoot!"
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
I could easily figure out that there were experienced gunmen when I saw them pointing the pistols at me adroitly. Besides, they didn't show any emotions when they fired their pistols. It meant that they had lots of experience shooting at people.
In the meantime, I moved my hands a little faster to catch the bullets flying towards me.
Pak! Pak! Pak! Pak!
I moved my hands with dexterity as if I was doing a stunt.
The guys in front of me seemed stunned at the spectacle.
"…"
"…"
"…"
Leaving them stunned, I let the caught bullets drop between my fingers, then got closer to them.
Then I lifted one of my legs and stomped down towards their feet. And it was no wonder that their feet was crushed like soft tofu
"Kheeeeeek!"
"Oh my poor feet!"
"Khuuuuk!"
They collapsed, groaning in pain.
I didn't care about it, and said in a low voice, "Hush! If you want to say your remaining foot, you had better keep quiet. I hate noisy stuff."
"Upppp…"
"Uppp...upppp."
As soon as I said that, they began to cover their mouths with their hands.
They also stopped the mouths of their fellows who were still groaning in pain.
"Alright. Good job. First of all, I'm going to ask you a question, and I will spare the guy who answers quickly. Your feet? Don't worry. If you have surgery, you will be able to walk even if you can't run. But I'll break your legs or hands, so you can't even walk or lift your spoon, if you answer late or lie to me. Got it?"
They, who had fallen down, grabbing their crushed feet, nodded vigorously at my warning.
So I cut to the chase and asked, "Where is Chaesan Lee in this mansion?"
"Chairman Lee resides on the first basement floor!"
"He is always in the study room on the first basement floor at this time!"
"That's right! He is always there!"
Since they gave me the same answer, they didn't seem to lie to me.
It didn't matter if they lied to me because I could go and check by myself.
"Good. I will spare all of you because you guys seem to have answered honestly. So lead a good life in the future. Stay away from scary stuff like guns. You guys are not policemen or soldiers, right?"
"Yes!"
"Ah…Got it!"
"From now on, I will never kill anyone!"
"Thank you for sparing my life!"
Of course, killing them was easier than sparing them, but I chose to spare them because I didn't need to kill them.
Anyway, I passed by them and continued walking down the hallway.
***
I've seen it often in movies. When water started to fill the ship because of a hole in the ship caused by a sudden impact, shutters or barriers came down around the filled area to prevent water from entering other areas.
In fact, such devices existed in a huge building in case of fire.
And I saw something similar here in Chaesan Lee's mansion.
Steel plates, which looked thick at first glance, appeared sparsely, and blocked me from moving forward.
What's more, thick iron plates appeared from behind and to my sides as if to confine me in an enclosed spacer.
"Man, what a tight security!"
When I looked at the mansion from the outside, it looked like a grand palace, but in the end, it was only a traditional Korean mansion. I never expected he would have installed such security devices.
"Gosh, he's got something fishy behind him!"
Given that he put so much effort into building a fortress like this, I knew he had done lots of illegal things.
Bang!
The barricade was easily shattered when I punched it gently.
No matter how sturdy and thick the iron was, it was too flimsy to block me.
Of course, my punch didn't create enough space for me to move, but it didn't matter.
As I could grind diamonds into powder just by lightly pressing them with my fingers, it was not an exaggeration to say iron was not much different from clay to me.
Reaching out my hand, I continued to move forward, tearing the barricades made of iron as if I was playing with clay.
