Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1246 Influx of Troublemakers, Future Plans

Chapter 1246  Influx of Troublemakers, Future Plans

As Yi Min returned to deal with the troublemakers on her side, it didn't take long before the Star Shattering Sect began to issue missions through the mission pavilion to deal with the large number of new cultivators that had entered the sect's territory.

To encourage the elders and disciples to take on these missions, Wei Chin took full advantage of the recent introduction of the Dao Enlightenment Monument and added it on to the different rewards offered for the more difficult missions. Allowing the disciples and elders of the sect another way to gain access to the Dao Enlightenment Monument that didn't involve them using their contribution points.

And… Given the current state of the sect with almost all of the elders at the Peak or Late Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm looking for anything that would give them enough contribution points to access the Dao Enlightenment Monument, it didn't take long before a large number of them rushed out of the sect in the direction of the recently added territory where the largest number of new cultivators were located.

Outside of the Star Shattering Sect, the different independent sects under them also learnt about the recent chaos caused by the large number of cultivators escaping from the destruction caused demonic cultivators invading their former home. Soon resulting in them joining the elders of the Star Shattering Sect in dealing with those who tried to take advantage of the situation to rob others, with some of the bolder ones daring to seize the land of the different minor powers under the Star Shattering Sect and proclaim themselves the new lord of the land.

Of course, these troublemakers had no idea about the Star Shattering Sect, as its name hadn't yet spread to the smaller kingdoms of the Onyx Empire, and they just believed that they were inside the already fallen Sky Empire that had long since turned into a chaotic battle for resources.

In the end, they would soon end up finding out about the Star Shattering Sect firsthand… And along with the fact that none of the people entering the Star Shattering Sect's territory this way had reached the Domain Lord Realm, it became a rather one-sided ordeal, as the elders of the Star Shattering Sect and the independent sects swept through them over the next month. Ensuring that those escaping to the Star Shattering Sect understood that the territory was under a larger power, and they couldn't do as they pleased.

In turn, this caused those escaping from the demonic cultivators to calm down quite a bit as they began to familiarize themselves with the land, they had believed to be a place in a state of chaos and disarray. Not taking long before they learnt about the existence of the Star Shattering Sect, a power supported by powerful cultivators at the Soul Ascension Realm. Instantly causing any thoughts of carving out a small space for themselves in this land to disappear, as they were very well aware of just what a cultivator in the Soul Ascension Realm represented.

On the other hand, they all began trying to find ways to either join the Star Shattering Sect or get permission to establish a domain of their own under the Star Shattering Sect.

Luckily for them, the current Star Shattering Sect was in urgent need of people to manage the new territory that they had just recently taken control of… And it just so happened that most of the people who could escape from the chaos caused by the demonic cultivators were at least in the Foundation Establishment Realm. Making them more than strong enough for the Star Shattering Sect to let them control some of the still unclaimed parts of the two former border regions of the Sky Empire.

Even then, these people didn't end up becoming part of the Star Shattering Sect and were only taken in as subordinate powers operating under the Star Shattering Sect.

If they wanted to join the Star Shattering Sect, they still had to wait for the next recruitment by the sect. After all, the current Star Shattering Sect had no lack of Nascent Soul realm cultivators, let alone Core Formation and Foundation Establishment Realm cultivators.

At this point in time, the only way to join the Star Shattering Sect without having to wait for the next round of disciple recruitment would to be for someone to have reached the Domain Lord Realm, as the Star Shattering Sect was still in need of Domain Lord Realm cultivators.

However, the different independent sects weren't that stringent in their requirements and took advantage of the situation to absorb a large number of Nascent Soul Realm cultivators and talented Core Formation Realm cultivators.

From a chaotic situation that had begun to spread towards the core of the sect's territory and threatened to reduce it to a state not much different from the rest of the Sky Empire's territory, everything had been dealt with in a little over a month and had even ended up benefiting the Star Shattering Sect after it took action to deal with the situation.

Back in the Star Shattering Sect, Elder Song had once again gathered together with the elders of the sect, this time also including Feng Chen, Zu Fei, and Shu Yao.

"I take it that you gathered all of us here because of something related to the influx of cultivators from the Onyx Empire and other empires bordering our new territory?"

Sitting on the main seat, Feng Chen was the first to speak up as he glanced down towards Elder Song, who had called for the meeting in the first place, with a curious expression on his face. Not understanding what was so urgent about the situation, as most of the cultivators that had entered the Star Shattering Sect's territory had already been dealt with. Most of them being absorbed by the different independent sects.

08:44

"Haaa… Indeed, it is related to this!" Nodding his head as he said this, Elder Song didn't wait for a response as he visibly frowned. "But I hope everyone here hasn't forgotten the reason why those people came to our territory in the first place!"

"Demonic cultivators…"

"Indeed, I fear that with the number of new cultivators showing up from those empires decreasing by the day and the state they show up in becoming worse and worse, it won't be long before the ones showing up are demonic cultivators! Before this happens, I hope we can properly prepare ourselves."

"Indeed, what you say is right. If we can prepare ourselves properly, this might also turn out to be a good opportunity for the younger disciples to train like we did in the past." Nodding his head after hearing what Elder Song said, Feng Chen could not help budding in as he remembered how they had taken advantage of the demonic cultivators last time around to train their younger disciples.

Although the number of younger disciples trained this way was limited, the cultivation progress of those younger disciples who had gone through fighting demonic cultivators far exceeded that of their peers.

If they could establish a better framework and have more disciples get some life and death experience this way, the results might be even better. Especially so if they could take advantage of the demonic cultivators showing up over time like the escaping cultivators had done…

"Hehe, sect master, it looks like you are learning quite well!" Hearing the suggestion given by Feng Chen, Elder Song could not help chuckling as he said this with a happy expression on his face. Looking like a proud elder whose disciple finally managed to learn something he had been trying to teach him for years.

"Hmph! Do you think I can't do anything on my own and just leave everything to you all the time?" Seeing this, Feng Chen could not help frowning with a slightly unhappy expression on his face as he said this.

"""…"""

"Huh? Why are all of you silent now!? E-even you Zu Fei!?"

Unfortunately for Feng Chen, the rest of the elders could only awkwardly avoid his eyes as everyone in sect was well aware of the fact that Elder Song was the true master of the sect who kept everything running. Even Zu Fei who always did her best to be on his side could only lower her head like she didn't hear him call out her name.

"Ahm… Let's move on, we still need to figure out how to properly deal with this situation, this is why I gathered all of you here in the first place." Giving a light cough to break the awkward silence that had descended upon the meeting, Elder Song quickly jumped in and steered the conversation back towards the matter at hand. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Once again demonstrating his ability to take control of the situation as the conversation resumed and proceeded smoothly over the next few hours, as the future plan for nurturing the younger generation of the sect through the use of the demonic cultivators who would be unfortunate enough to step into the Star Shattering Sect's territory concluded without any more interruptions.
