Following the relatively short conversation that only lasted a few minutes coming to an end, the old ancestor of the Zhang Clan could not help showing a thoughtful expression on his old face as he watched the elder disappear in the same direction, he had come from to get the stranger who had shown up to request a meeting with him out of the blue.

 Of course, one of the main reasons why the city had managed to remain peaceful for such a long time was because the ancestors of the Xue and Qing Clan had worked together with him when they first established the city as a place for them to settle down and retire without having to worry about the constant fighting of the Eastern Central Region.
