Chapter 4072 Illumina Clashes Against Ghostly Crow Realm Master

Chapter 4072  Illumina Clashes Against Ghostly Crow Realm Master

Illumina turned around at that very moment as she cast a murderous glare at him, appearing like she didn't intend to leave him alive.

The Ghostly Crow Realm Master shuddered ever so lightly before his flesh rapidly tried to regrow. He was a fey and wasn't as weak as a human. His regenerative ability was quite high, like that of a magical beast.

"Nethermoon Mirage Rabbit! Why are you trying to help-"

As he scowled at the rabbit woman turning around, another clone of hers shot up from below and kicked her towards him. She used the leg of her clone like a spring and dashed towards him with her bloody claw.

Illumina's claw was coated in terrifying nether energy. It seeped with darkness and depravity, appearing to be full of poison, yet it wasn't. It was an energy that didn't seem to be good for the living, like death energy.

She shot past him, and her claw barely managed to scratch his face, leaving behind three bloodied marks.

However, she didn't stop there.

She only turned around and didn't try to stop the momentum.

Instead, another clone appeared behind her and launched her towards him with a skillful kick to her feet. She was sent flying, and she performed another skillful maneuver in the air, this time taking half of the man's other wing.

However, the Ghostly Crow Realm Master also timed the bow right as he turned around, just as Illumina pierced through his black wings. He released the grip on the string, and the silent arrow ripped through space.

*Bang!~*

Illumina's clone blocked it with her body, causing the arrow to slow down significantly, which allowed her to turn around and use her heel to shatter it.

It considerably lowered her momentum, and she used the foot of another clone who suddenly appeared below her to pounce toward him like a feral rabbit. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

The Ghostly Crow Realm Master's scalp turned numb as he took out the Shadowveil Heart Branch. It can also be used as a defensive artifact after it turns into a rod.

*Rip!~*

*Clang!~* *Clang!~* *Clang!~*

Metallic sounds began to echo from their clash. Sparks flew as Illumina was relentless in her attacks. Her thirty-two- no, thirty-one clones surrounded the Ghostly Crow Realm Master as she ricocheted around the sphere they created.

Within this sphere was a death zone for the Ghostly Crow Realm Master.

He was barely able to defend himself from those furious claws the Nethermoon Mirage Rabbit possessed. Her King-Tier aura didn't exactly overwhelm him, but he could tell that he wasn't facing an ordinary King-Tier Empyrean Beast either since there was no way a King-Tier Empyrean Beast would have a prowess that's more than four levels higher.

Even five levels higher was the limit for a King-Tier Grand Beast Saint Magical Beast Variant as far as he knew, yet this King-Tier Nethermoon Mirage Rabbit can reach a prowess that's seven levels higher. Her darkness energy that radiated nether attribute was also extremely dangerous, making her prowess reach eight levels higher.

Because of this, he was unable to do anything.

After all, his base prowess had also reached Level Nine Autarch Stage.

He was a Level Two Autarch, but adding onto his own prowess that was four levels higher, as well as the power gained from binding the core of the Lower Realm, which made his prowess rise by three levels higher as long as he was within the confines of the realm, his prowess reached Level Nine Autarch Stage!

Because his prowess already reached the Level Nine Autarch Stage, it was extremely difficult for him to step into the next level. Even reaching Level Three Autarch Stage had become near impossible for him, considering the amount of resources his clan's Treasury possessed. If he needed to make progress, he could only go to the Upper Realms, but that would require him to abandon the realm core.

Why would he need to do that? He was already living like a king. It would have been foolish of him to abandon it unless his ambitions were too high, but that was not the case.

As long as he lived like a king in the Lower Realm, the core would make sure that he got his energy over a long period of time.

Within a hundred thousand years or even earlier, he was assured that he could reach Level Four Autarch Stage and ascend to the Upper Realms. He would've long made his legacy by then and would've done his part for the Ghostly Crow Clan. By that point, he would have no regrets and could cultivate however he wanted.

However, it was a pity that he was now harassed to death by a Nethermoon Mirage Rabbit.

*Clang!~* *Clang!~* *Clang!~*

"Fine, you cannot kill me, and I cannot kill you too. Let's see how long our energy lasts."

The Ghostly Crow Realm Master roared. He tried to go on the offensive, but the Nethermoon Mirage Rabbit's movements were too fast to predict, with her clones helping her maneuver in this small space they had surrounded him.

He wasn't harmed because of the defensive artifact he possessed, but he knew if he let the claws pierce through his body, it would probably be over for him as the nether energy would seep in and kill him internally.

He appeared to have gone insane from the corner he was forced into. However, the truth was that he was buying time for reinforcements to arrive. He was sure that the Heaven's Warriors in this region would come within half a minute or an entire one.

All he had to do was buy some time.

He glanced towards the others from the corner of his eyes and saw that one of them was coming towards him.

It was that woman who unleashed a powerful vine. Her undulation seemed unstable, as though she had just entered the Empyrean Stage or was preparing to unleash some kind of Divine Technique, but he didn't care.

*Rip!*

He barely managed to sacrifice his left foot for a shot at the Anarchic Divergent again, forcing that vine woman to remain.

"Die!"

Illumina's figure rapidly moved within the sphere, seeking an opening to end him.

However, she seemed unable to kill him even amidst the hundreds of attacks she performed in ten seconds. Still, she appeared to be satisfied that she was able to hold him back.

Their movements were so fast that they didn't have any time to perform any techniques. Illumina tried to kill him, and the Ghostly Crow Realm Master tried to keep them here. They were at a stalemate.

A stalemate— was what he thought until he noticed that the Nethermoon Mirage Rabbit's attacks were getting weaker and weaker.

Suddenly, the clones all tried to attack him at the same time.

Thousands of claws flew towards him, but he cried out with a sharp roar. His wings that had been carved out of his body regrew and flapped open into a majestic set of wings. They slapped the claws, shattering them in mid-air.

The resulting nether energy corroded his wings, but it was unable to harm him fully.

*Whoosh!* *Whoosh!* *Whoosh!*

In the distance, he could sense numerous auras making their way towards him.

However, his expression was anything but joyous as he looked around. There was no sign of the four women who were here.

They had somehow escaped, causing his expression to turn unsightly. He hurriedly looked around, trying to find a hint of them with his ocular arts, but wasn't able to find them. Within twenty seconds, one of the Heaven's Warriors finally arrived.

It was a white-robed man. Celestial lightning crackled around him as he exuded a powerful aura at the Level Six Autarch Stage. Clearly, his prowess was anything but simple.

"Did you kill the Anarchic Divergent, Realm Master?"

"They escaped…" The Ghostly Crow Realm Master's voice was icy.

He never knew such humiliation as he felt like he allowed a bunch of weaklings to escape. Needless to say, the Heaven's Warrior frowned heavily. A few more Heaven's Warriors eventually arrived, and he had no choice but to say that it was his fault for letting them escape.
