Chapter 2205 Pirates Battle

Chapter 2205  Pirates Battle

Like a bolt of lightning, Xavier Karat broke through the planet's atmosphere, streaking toward the chaotic battle unfolding between his warships and the defensive space station. His heart sank as he surveyed the scene, silently mourning the loss of his fleet. Of the original six warships, only three remained operational. One had crashed into the planet, and two more had been reduced to wreckage under the relentless assault of the heavily armed defense system.

Coming from the planet, Xavier had to navigate past the space station. Its multiple defensive turrets swiveled to target him, unleashing a barrage of cannon blasts. Most of the shots dissipated harmlessly against his cosmic defense, creating dazzling bursts of light upon impact. The few that posed a real threat were deftly evaded with lightning-fast maneuvers.

Inside the space station, the crew was thrown into disarray. Panic spread like wildfire as they saw the infamous Xavier approaching. They watched in disbelief as he flew past them, Hovering in the midst of the fray, Xavier raised his arms, a commanding presence amidst the turmoil. His silhouette against the backdrop of the battle was imposing, radiating authority and power. With a powerful surge of his spirit energy, he broadcast a message to every combatant in the vicinity, his voice entered their mind.

"STOP FIGHTING!!"

The warship commanders, following Xavier's command, quickly adjusted their tactics, holding their positions and ceasing fire. Meanwhile, inside the space station, the defensive forces hesitated, until they saw the arrival of Hassa's elders and the 600 magus forces. The sight of such reinforcements convinced them to stand down. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Within minutes, Xavier, radiating authority, entered the space station and took charge of the situation. His presence was commanding, and the chaos seemed to ebb away as he began issuing orders.

"Give me a status report!" The Grand Magus in charge, the commander of the space station, stepped forward to explain their dire conditions. "Lord Xavier, over 300 of our 500 drones have been destroyed. The remaining drones had to be shut down to prevent them from shooting out of control. The defensive turrets have sustained significant damage, our sensor and communication were down."

Xavier's face hardened at the news. He swiftly instructed a full checkup of the system, emphasizing the urgency.

As the crew scrambled to comply, Xavier received information from his warship radar. A flurry of activity indicated the approach of dozens of ships.

"They are here already!!" Xavier roared, his eyes narrowing as he turned toward a particular part of the space where the said ships were converging.

From the dark abyss of space, a formidable armada emerged, over 100 ships strong, each bearing the markings of various infamous pirate factions: the Iron Hawks, the Blood Reavers, the Star Vipers, the Night Buccaneers, and the Cosmic Falcons. The fleet included 30 medium-sized ships, a dozen destroyer-class ships, and one massive cruiser-type ship, its hull painted an ominous crimson—the infamous Flying Tiger, the flagship of the Pirate King.

The sight of the enormous fleet struck a chord of fear in many, but Xavier, the veteran commander, looked toward the armada with steely determination, ready for battle. However, the forces under his command couldn't help but feel anxious, knowing the odds they were up against.

As the enemy fleet continued its approach, the atmosphere inside the space station was electric with anticipation. Crew members hustled to their stations, finalizing preparations and awaiting orders. During this tense buildup, a sudden and unexpected piece of good news broke through the grim atmosphere. One of the technicians, eyes wide with excitement, announced, "We've gained access to the system again! We can activate the drones!"

The announcement was met with a wave of relief and renewed hope. The station's control room buzzed with activity as technicians and engineers hurried to reinitialize their defense systems. ####

Inside the ominous crimson hull of the Flying Tiger, Gaira D Reis, the Pirate King, sat in his command chair, his expression darkening with each status report he received. The updates about the Karat brothers' truce and their success in neutralizing the virus filled him with mounting annoyance.

"Those fools can't do the job right!!" he snarled, his voice echoing through the command deck.

Standing next to him was one of his most trusted lieutenants, a grand magus and one of the five Iron Guardians. The grand magus, sensing the Pirate King's fury, spoke up cautiously, "King Gaira… should we retreat?"

Gaira's anger flared, his eyes burning with a fierce determination. Retreat was not an option. Roaring like a beast, he declared, "No! This is still the best chance to rout out the Karat once and for all!!"

He rose from his chair, his presence commanding and imposing, and issued his orders with a voice that brooked no dissent. "All hands on deck!! to battle!!"

In the solemn atmosphere of the Golden Mansion, Lord Hassa stood with furrowed brows, his eyes fixed on the holographic displays projecting the unfolding space battle above. His concern etched deep lines on his face, reflecting the weight of the impending conflict.

Amidst this tense moment, Emery interjected, breaking the tense silence. "Lord Hassa, there is something you need to see,"

Previously, while accessing the main system, Emery discovered something significant and promptly displayed it on the screen: A video recording materialized on the central display, capturing the installation of the virus that had plunged them into chaos. Shockingly, it was someone they all recognized—Ravi Karat, the Academy champion, returning to base after a severe defeat. It appeared he used his injury as a pretext to sneak into the palace while everyone was focused on the duel.

Lord Hassa remained outwardly calm, though a flicker of disappointment crossed his features—a trusted member of their faction resorting to such deceit shook his faith. Beside him, Tessa, usually composed and loyal, erupted with palpable anger.

"That ungrateful bastard!" Tessa exclaimed, her voice laced with fury. "To think he would betray us like this! Did he manage to escape? Where is he now?"

With the aid of VIA's advanced capabilities, Emery swiftly tracked Ravi's whereabouts within the estate. The data revealed that Ravi had infiltrated a highly secure compound where Karat's wealth and treasures were stored. Not only had he orchestrated the virus to compromise Karat's security systems, but he had also used it to gain access to the vaults.

"A traitor and a thief!" Tessa seethed with rage.

Isaiah, ever loyal and resolute, stepped forward. "My Lord, allow me to accompany Miss Tessa. I will apprehend the traitor and bring him to justice.

Lord Hassa, observing the unfolding chaos in space and realizing the strategic importance of Karat's wealth to the pirates, nodded thoughtfully and made a decisive choice to join. "Let's go to the vault,"
