Chapter 2350 Silvermist's Scolding

Chapter 2350 Silvermist's Scolding

Silvermist laughed a proud laugh when Alex told him he had passed the first competition. With this, he was now two competitions down, with five more to go.

"The rest won't cause you any more trouble," Silvermist told Alex. "I cannot tell you what they have planned, but I do not believe any of the other ones will require you to travel the world like this one did."

Alex was glad to hear that.

Grimsight gave a small smile to the side. "Congratulations, young man. I can't say I never doubted, but you have proven to me now that you will reach the highest of highs in this competition."

"Thank you, senior."n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Forget about that," Silvermist said. "I can't believe that I get both a disciple and a grand-disciple in the same century."

Momo remained standing to the side, a nervous look on her face as she had only just met Alex's master.

"Momo is very talented, Master. You will be surprised by her soon enough," Alex said. "I will look forward to it then."

They were still in Hardrock City. After some talk, Alex had learned that his master hadn't left the place at all. Everyone was given a small rundown of exactly what the first competition was and thus were told that they were not allowed to leave the city unless it was an emergency.

Most people had come to spend the entire 50 years here, so no one was bothered by this revelation.

Silvermist had been planning on staying here for the rest of the 50 years as well, but now that Alex had completed his first competition, they were free to leave should they wish to.

"Do you want to leave?" Silvermist asked him. "We'll do what you say we should.

Alex had already made up his mind even before coming here. "We should go back, Master. I wish to break through to the Immortal Origin realm as soon as I can."

"Oh! Then we shall return at daybreak."

There were still a few more hours before night left and the sun took over the horizon, so they rested for the time being.

Grimsight took Pearl to the side, asking him a few questions after realizing that his aura had become weaker.

Pearl told him about the battle he had been in during the first month of the tournament, where he was forced to use his blood essence during the fight. Grimsight was rather serious when he heard that.

"You are not my disciple, so I won't scold you for what you did," he said. "But you do carry with you the legacy of my spear art. Do not waste yourself, or you will waste my legacy as well."

"I won't, senior. I promise," Pearl said.

Grimsight nodded. "Don't worry. You haven't damaged yourself so badly that you can't return from it. You just have to cultivate harder and longer,"

Pearl nodded. He had been doing that already anyway, but now he would be cultivating with even more dedication.

Silvermist conversed with Alex, asking about the various situations he had to go through to gain all the ingredients.

Alex told the man everything, excluding Rosemist. He wasn't sure how much he could tell him without Rosemist's permission.

Silvermist heard everything and became furious when he heard about what the Falling Rose Guild had nearly done to him. Because of them, Alex had been so close to failure. They had only backed off when they realized whose disciple he was.

"Those little shits," Silvermist said through gritted teeth. "I will deal with them. We will first go to Rosefall City, and then we can head back home."

Alex didn't oppose the idea. He wanted to meet Rosemist once before he went to cultivate for the next nine years.

A few hours later, when the morning light pierced through the darkness in the eastern sky, Silvermist and the rest left.

They went over to Mossdeep City, from where they took the Intercontinental Teleportation Formation to Rosefall City.

Upon arrival, they bee-lined their way to the Rosefall Guild.

Silvermist's fury was unstoppable. He didn't use force. He didn't use his cultivation base. He simply used his words, cursing at every single person he met.

None of these people could talk back, and since they knew who he was, they could do nothing else either.

Silvermist went right up to the head of the Falling Rose Guild and talked down to the ones who currently ran the guild. These were the same Divinities that wanted to force Alex to reveal what happened in the Hand of the God.

After an entire hour of scolding, during which the Divinities could only sit in one place and listen like children caught doing something wrong by their parents, they handed over a huge sum of money and resources for all the trouble they caused Alex, so Silvermist would let them be.

Silvermist still shouted at them for 15 more minutes before finally leaving the place in a furious rant.

"This isn't over. I shall talk to your guild master. If this is how he runs the guild, then I will put some sense into him," Silvermist shouted, even as he walked outside of the

guild.

Alex was certain he would feel embarrassed at first, but now he just felt relaxed. He had finally gotten back at the people who had wronged him.

"Those bastards!" Silvermist grumbled now that he was further away from the guild, so there was no point in shouting.

"They must be members of the religious order, or at least someone who heavily knows about it." Grimsight said.

"They did call the mountains a 'holy site"." Alex said.

"They do. Speaking of which, what were you doing there?" Grimsight asked.

"I was... meeting someone," Alex said.

"Meeting who?" Silvermist asked, turning around.

Alex thought for a bit. "I'm not sure if I can tell you about them, Master. I made a

promise not to tell others. Let me go and see if I can get permission. I want to meet them before I leave anyway."
