Chapter 103 My Wife Is a Great Beauty 1
103 My Wife Is a Great Beauty 1
After their lunch, Song Huifen had accompanied them to the parking lot and bid goodbye to Xiao Bao.
"Why, my dear son? You think I would hurt the boy?" She arched a slender brow at him.
How could she hurt a boy who resembled her son a lot? These two seemed to have been made from the same mold because their resemblance was uncanny.
Song Huifen was sure that she had kept some of her son's photos when he was younger. Perhaps by looking at them in her secret stash, she would be able to compare her young son and Xiao Bao clearly.
Feng Tianyi made eye contact with his mother and felt a chill go down his spine. Her eyes made him feel like she was peering into every last crevice of his soul, looking for answers to her unspoken questions.
"Since you are recovering well these days, why don't you start your therapy so you can get back on your feet?" She asked him.
When her son didn't say anything in response but only frowned, Song Huifen continued.
"You cannot stay like this forever, Tianyi. Sooner or later, you will regret not doing it earlier. Don't wait for something to happen before you make up your mind."
She didn't want him to stall his recovery anymore. Song Huifen wondered if he would be able to find the motivation for the therapy he needed with the Tang twins' help. It seemed that her son adored these children whether they were his or not.
"Mother…"
"No, Tianyi. You listen to me. I want my son back. I don't understand why you're being stubborn like this. I might've not been the best mother to you, but I don't want my own son to waste away, backing down without a fight. Why can't you just let go of your hatred towards your father and brother? Your father is long dead and Tianhua will eventually pay for his impertinence sooner or later."
"Do you hear yourself, Mother? Have you forgotten how Father treated us?" Feng Tianyi asked scathingly.
Song Huifen rolled her eyes. What else should she do to convince him to get back on his damn feet and live his life to the fullest? If he so loved the empress, goddamn it all! She wouldn't care as long as the empress pulled her son out of the hell hole he put himself in.
"Tang Moyu must be really special to get your attention. When will you bring her over?"
"Do not play games with me, Mother. It isn't as simple as that." Feng Tianyi finally responded. He looked sharply at his mother. What was she up to anyway?
"Don't look at me like that, son. I'm only curious about the empress."
Their attention was diverted when Xiao Bao's voice reached their ears.
"Bye bye, Pretty Auntie! Don't be sad anymore. Xiao Bao will see you again next time!" The boy called after Song Huifen. The old woman chuckled at his eagerness.
"Bye, Pretty Auntie! Xiao Bao will visit you again soon with Little Star!" Xiao Bao waved a hand towards her. He was excited at the prospect of seeing his Mommy now after visiting his new Pretty Auntie.
"You heard the boy, Tianyi." She chuckled at her son and watched them drive away. She remained standing where they had left her, waving a hand until they disappeared from her sight.
The smile on her face instantly vanished, going back to her usually stoic face. Meeting Xiao Bao today was unexpected and she didn't believe that he and his sister didn't have Feng blood running through their veins.
Going back to the private elevator and pressing the button to the top floor, she pulled out her phone from her purse and made a call.
"I want you to find everything about Tang Moyu and her children. I need to know if there's a chance that she met my son five years ago." She had to get to the bottom of it and she would never be at peace until she knew the truth about Tang Moyu's children.
There was a pause as the man on the other end of the line agreed to her request. She fiddled the few strands of hair she was able to get from the little boy earlier.
"Is it possible to do a paternity test with a few strands of hair?" She asked her private investigator.
"Madam Song, you would need a few strands of hair that still have visible roots or follicles. Hair that has been cut or collected from a hairbrush or comb will not work. If you can secure a sample with dry blood or the recently used toothbrush of the subjects, it would be easier." The man explained to her.
So the hair strands that are in her hand right now would be useless? Since she didn't think Tianyi would agree with her to run a paternity test between him and Xiao Bao, she decided to be discreet and took a few hair strands from the boy earlier.
She would need to secure conclusive samples from both Tang twins the next time she met them. However, what matters to her right now was that her son was doing well compared to the last time she'd seen him; back in France.
He Lianchen was right. Tianyi was faring well since he moved back here to Shenzhen and hopefully, he would come to his senses and decide to undergo therapy to restore the strength in his legs. Hopefully, Tang Moyu and her children would be able to convince him to take it.
Well, this was better than seeing him sulking alone in a foreign land with no one to look after him.
