Gangster System: I Will Become The Greatest Gangster!

Chapter 40 Titan

Boom!

Charging in shoulder-first as if he was doing an American Football tackle, Connor rammed his giant body into the two of the members in the group, launching them sliding backwards, slamming into their peers.

It was like the group had gotten hit by a car and the two that had been hit by the brunt of the charge were knocked unconscious, while the ones that were behind them had been rattled to their core.

Connor didn't stop there, and had a complete advantage, feeling as though he could crush mountains with his fists as he continued his onslaught of attacks.

Not even attempting to use any flashy kicks, with a single punch from him, he would send them tumbling backwards, and even if they weren't knocked out, they wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.

And that was with him holding back his strength, not wanting to accidentally kill any of them with his full power.

Smiling to himself, Connor looked over at the boss of the small group and glared at him, causing him to reflexively turn and run despite how much it pained him to do so.

Everything had happened so quickly and the youth was enraged and wanted to support his subordinates, but it was to no avail and his best bet was to get away from that beast.

However, as he turned around, a young man with wavy brown hair and bright blue eyes appeared out of nowhere and tripped him over.

"Achara, it seems like we missed the fun," Xavier said as he snatched the knife off the youth he had just tripped over.

Looking at him, he appeared to be of a similar age to himself, most likely a senior in high school, and yet he was wielding knives and supposedly working for the Wolf Gang.

"Who's your boss?" Xavier asked, as he placed his foot on his chest and began to press down.

Seemingly frightened for his life, the youth began to plead, "Let me go. Please. I am not really a gangster. My buddies and I just pretend to be."

His performance was pretty convincing and Xavier truly was about to let him go, but Zack jumped in, "He's lying. He really is working for the Wolf Gang and they sell drugs in my school."

"Fuck," he cursed as he glared at Zack, who walked over to him and kicked him in the face.

"That's what you get for all the times you fucked with me."

Kicking him again, "That's what you get for messing with my grandmother."

Striking him a third time, "And that's what you get for being a bitch."

Xavier was seeing another side to the little nerd, but he knew that if he went too far, things could go very badly.

"Tell me the truth, and I will let you go. If you don't want to talk, then maybe my big friend over there can help you get your words out."

Looking over at the titan beside him, Connor, Xavier didn't need to say anymore, and he blurted out everything he knew about the Wolf Gang and everything he was involved in.

"A group of them come to me and every one of their little branch gangs and give us an amount of drugs we have to sell in our neighbourhood and school each week. If we don't get them the money that the drugs are worth in time, they beat the shit out of us."

"In return for selling their product, they let us use their reputation and throw us some scraps, but they keep almost all the money and just use us as their little bitches."

"You can find one of our little gangs in almost every high school and neighbourhood in Brooklyn, and if we get caught with the product by the police and rat on them, they will kill us and our families. So, we take all the risk and nobody tells on them, letting them sell their drugs without any consequences."

"No one actually gets to see their members and they always come around when it is dark and wear hoods, but I did get to see the face of one. He had a scar across his left eye and had a weird tattoo on his right hand."

"And that's all I know. I'm being honest, so just please let me go."

He seemed to be telling the truth and gave over more information than Xavier expected, as he smiled to himself and had an idea.

"Zack. How many small gangs would you say there are in Brooklyn that are being suppressed by the Wolf Gang?" he asked.

"At least a dozen or so that are reputable and capable, but none of them as large as the Wolf Gang and have two options. To submit to or be crushed by the Wolf Gang. And for most of these gangs, as long as they make money and keep their territory, they are willing to submit."

"And you, kid. How many of these subsidiary gangs do you think the Wolf Gang has?" he asked the youth that he was still holding down onto the ground with his foot.

"I-I don't know."

"Estimate, you idiot."

"Um... At least 30, but I don't think any more than 50," he answered.

Xavier was silent for a moment as he thought to himself about his next moves, before he moved his foot off the youth.

"Get up, kid," he instructed sternly.

"You look around the same age as..."

"Get up and keep your mouth shut."

Jumping up, he was surprised to be handed back his knife despite being in close range.

"You can't do shit to me even if I gave you a gun, so just follow me. Let's go for a little walk," he said as he dragged him by the collar.

"You guys wake the rest of them up and get them to wait for their boss to return. I need to have a word with him," Xavier instructed Connor, Achara, and Zack, who nodded their heads.

However, they couldn't help but wonder what Xavier was planning, as they watched him walk off with the shaken youth.
