Diana and Sandra watched in awe as the battle intensified. Their weapons were ready in case they needed to intervene.

But Shane was holding his own in the battle. His combat skills and the Exosuit's capabilities proved to be a formidable combination.

However, after a few moments, they realized that the enemy had started parrying and dodging Shane's attacks, and damage was slowly accumulating on the Exosuit's armor.

Shane quickly realized that his initial approach against the Vampire wasn't enough.

He needed to change his strategy and show just how resourceful and wealthy he was.

'You're forcing me!'

With a glint in his eye, he decided to use his Tactical Sentinel Combat Exosuit I in a new and unexpected way. Shane used his Armored Dash while inside the Exosuit!

Bang!

He was able to hit the Vampire before it could cast another Spell, and this enemy was thrown for over 10 meters!

Of course, Shane could tell that it barely did any injury to the Vampire. Its body was simply too tough, and Shane couldn't even see any scratch on it. Nonetheless, Shane could tell that the Vampire seemed to have hidden injuries and couldn't perform to its best ability.

The reason might be the 10 Armored Juggernauts Resistance, or perhaps it was weakened because it tried to enter the Boss Raid Event itself without the permission of the Apocalypse System. There could be various reasons but no matter what, this was definitely an opportunity that Shane didn't want to miss.

The Vampire, recovering from Shane's assault, snarled and prepared to attack again.

However, Shane expected this as he didn't stop with his combo… He activated the exosuit's enhanced mobility and charged forward, closing the distance between them in an instant. The Vampire's eyes widened in surprise as Shane wrapped the exosuit's powerful arms around him, pinning him in a tight embrace. The Vampire was expecting to be pummeled and was getting ready to crash the Exosuit's arm.

He certainly didn't expect to be suddenly embraced as he lost the momentum he needed!

The Vampire struggled, his supernatural strength pushing against the Exosuit's reinforced frame, but Shane held firm.

"Let's see how you handle this," Shane muttered as he displayed an evil grin.

With a swift motion, Shane activated the eject function on the Exosuit's control panel. The mechanism activated, and Shane was launched out of the back of the Exosuit, landing gracefully a few meters away. The Exosuit, still gripping the Vampire tightly, remained locked in place.

"Now!" Shane said, informing Cloud to trigger the bomb!

To be exact, they planned to detonate the Exosuit's power cores and Ion Drive Engine!

The Exosuit's self-destruct sequence initiated, and a series of beeps filled the air. The Vampire's eyes widened in realization, but it was too late.

Boom!

The Exosuit detonated in a massive explosion, the force of the blast shaking the arena and sending debris flying in all directions. Even the corpses of the Ten Juggernaut Zombies were thrown all over the place!

Shane shielded his eyes from the explosion, waiting for the dust to settle.

Diana and Sandra had safety tokens with them, and they were swiftly activated when they noticed the problem. Thankfully, they were far enough from the explosion so their tokens were able to endure the shockwave and they didn't get any form of injuries at all.

It was only Shane, who was a bit too near, who had suffered from injuries.

Cough! Cough!

As the smoke cleared, Shane saw the Vampire still standing, albeit heavily damaged.

"Kukuku… That was unexpected for a Level 30…" The Vampire said with a cough as he got out of the crater.

It was true that he had weakened, but it was his Spirit or his ability to cast spells, and not his physique. To be exact, the weakening of his physique wouldn't exceed 20%, while his Spiritual Force has decreased by more than 90%.

Nonetheless, the explosion may not have destroyed his steel-like skin, but he suffered internal injuries from that. If he didn't consume blood, he would really lose to a low-level Survivor, and he couldn't help but feel frustrated just thinking about that!

He had to take this battle seriously…

He had no idea how this person reached this level and became so powerful without even a year in this Apocalypse World. However, he couldn't help but feel glad that this man was still Level 30… No matter what, he shouldn't have obtained resources that could allow him to break his limit for a second or third time.

"You're tougher than I thought," Shane muttered and there was a hint of admiration in his voice.

Anyway, he wasn't done yet.

Reaching into his inventory, he pulled out five Exploding Throwing Knives that he had recently upgraded… There were only five of them but four of them were Master Grade and the last one was an Epic Grade.

Without waiting for the Vampire to fully recover, Shane hurled the Master-Grade knives at his enemy.

Of course, Shane used all of his Agility Points on this the speed of the knives exceeded the Vampire's expectation!

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The knives embedded themselves in the Vampires's body, and it didn't take a second before they exploded almost at the same time!

Boom! Boom!

A series of powerful blasts occurred, and each one of them tore through the Vampire's already weakened form.

The combined force of the explosions was too much for the creature to withstand.

Aaahhh!

The arrogant Vampire, who thought that he could easily make the strongest Survivor of this world to become his Blood Servant, cried out in pain…

The explosion of those knives might not hurt him in normal circumstances, but it was very different right now.

He would really die at this rate! He swiftly backed away while also opening his belt bag, which could be considered a spatial bag.

He wanted to take out the Blood Bags he had reserved to quickly recover… He had really miscalculated this Level 30 Survivor!

However, before he could take them out, a single knife that looked really dangerous was about to hit his head!

It was definitely a lot stronger than the previous knives that were thrown at him!

'This guy! How many exploding knives does he have?! Did he upgrade these things himself? How could he have so many Item Upgrade Crystals to waste on these things?!' The Vampire complained as he knew that his opponent was definitely not normal.

Thankfully, the Vampire was still agile and he was able to dodge the knife that was emitting a terrifying energy. However, even after dodging it, the bad premonition was still there as he realized that the knife was suddenly at the brink of explosion even after passing his body!

Before he could get the momentum to dash away, this knife exploded in a manner that was stronger than those other four exploding knives combined!

Boom!

The explosion blasted behind him as he was thrown forward!

Needless to say, the one waiting in front of him was Shane!

He was already equipped with his two Legendary Grade items, his Light Flameblade and Golden Hatchet!

After pouring Spirit Points into his weapons, they suddenly glowed with a fierce light, ready tear apart this arrogant Vampire.

With a swift motion, Shane used Vertical Slash with his Light Flameblade that sliced through the air with a fiery arc.

The blade connected, leaving a searing wound on the Vampire's chest!

Shane's eyes lit up after seeing that he could finally tear through the Vampire's body!

The Vampire hissed in pain, but Shane didn't relent. He followed up with a powerful Horizontal Strike from his Golden Hatchet, and the weapon's golden edge was able to cut deep into the Vampire's flesh.

However, despite the injuries, the Vampire managed to escape Shane's assault after the momentum of the blast disappeared…

"You're forcing me!" the Vampire grumbled with his eyes burning with fury. Ever since the start of the fight, he had been caught by Shane's continuous assault and failed to properly use his strength and spells…

This time, he would no longer allow that, even if he had to pay a price!

Suddenly, he released several invisible shackles on his body, and a dark, oppressive aura enveloped him. The might of a Level 80 Vampire was unleashed, his power surging to new heights.

Shane could feel the immense pressure bearing down on him. It was even suffocating!

Diana and Sandra, who was also quite far from the battle, dropped to the ground from the pressure!

The Vampire's pressure alone made it difficult for them to breathe!

The Vampire then made its move!

Shane didn't have the time and could only use his Adrenaline Surge and Phantasm Rush to keep himself alive!

Thankfully, his SWAT Uniforms passive effect took most of the damage...

However, Shane knew that this wouldn't be the end. He didn't have the time to think as he just used all of his skills to survive!
