Upon hearing what Mr Davis just said Serenity was so surprised, the words kept echoing in her head she didn't understand what she just heard Mr. Davis said to Ethan.

Her eyes widened as the realization set in and her mouth fell open.

immediately She spun around to look at Ethan, her hands waving in the air.

"Ethan, what's he talking about? What happened? how did you do something like that?"

Her voice got all high and squeaky.

Upon hearing what Serenity just said Mr. Davis knew he had messed up, he thought she would be with her friend now, not knowing she's with Ethan.

At that moment he started sweating.

He waved his hands around, talking really fast.

"Oh, no, no, I didn't mean it like that! You see, after you left my office, Serenity, Ethan came and begged me to help you. And I just had to say yes, because, well, Ethan saved my life once in a car accident, just like your friend. I owed him a big favor, so I couldn't say no to his request."

Hearing what Mr Davis just said, Serenity eyebrows pushed down little, she couldn't believe she was thinking out of place just a moment ago, thinking Ethan paid off the bill, or have something to do with the hospital, she then just stared at Ethan, her eyes filling up with tears.

"Ethan... I can't believe it. I don't know what to say. But thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for going out of your way to save her, I'm really grateful."

She wanted to run over and threw her arms around him, hugging him so tight he could barely breathe but she wouldn't bring herself to do such a thing, both of them started talking just today, and it's not right to be thinking such, even though nothing is attached just to show him how grateful she was.

"You're the bestest person I knew today, and I'll never, ever forget this, not in a million billion years."

Ethan couldn't help but just nodded back at her ,with a little smile on his face.

"Aw, it's nothing. That's just what every rightful person would do for others, you know? if you have opportunity to save lives, don't hold back"

However at that moment Serenity's face got all serious. She walked closer to Ethan and put her hands on Ethan's shoulders, looking him right in the eye.

"Ethan, listen to me. You gotta be real careful from this moment, okay? Noah gonna be mad about this, he sees it as a slap in the face and knowing what he can do. He might try to get back at you. Maybe you should stay away from school for a while, just to be extra safe."

She looked so worried, biting her lip and frowning.

But Ethan just shook his head, standing up tall.

"Don't worry about me, I will be alright, Serenity. I can take care of myself. Noah doesn't scare me one bit."

Serenity sighed, she had seen Ethan fight before, but at the same time she knows what Noah can do when he's angry, but she nodded her head knowing Ethan wouldn't go looking for his trouble again.

"Okay, if you say so. But I'm gonna be watching out for you. If Noah even thinks about messing with you, he'll have to go through me first."

She punched her hand with her fist, like she was ready for a fight.

She gave Ethan one more super big smile, then ran off to be with her friend in the VIP room.

Ethan couldn't help but smile as he watched her leave.

Later, Ethan and Mr. Davis had a grown-up talk.

Ethan told Mr. Davis all about his big plans for the hospital.

"I want you to hire the best doctors and nurses in the whole country,"

he said, waving his arms around. "And make sure you get all the coolest, most high-tech gear and equipment. I want this hospital to be the most awesomest place ever, it should be on everyone lips"

He wrote everything down in his little notebook, and he knows the money is available to make the hospital what he wants.

"You got it, boss. I'll make it happen, really quick, soon you won't be able to recognize the hospital again."

When they were all done talking, Ethan went to the front desk. But Annabelle wasn't there! Only Julian, smiling all big and friendly towards him.

"Well, hello there, Mr. Ethan, sir. What can I do for you?"

But Ethan didn't smile back. He was still really mad at Julian for being mean before.

He almost told Mr Davis to fire her right then and there. But a little voice inside his head wants him to give her one more chance.

He never wanted to agree but at the same time he wanted to see if truly she had changed.

Ethan gazed around if he would see Annabelle but he didn't see her around, so he was forced to ask.

"Where's Annabelle at? Why isn't she here?"

Julian's smile got a little shaky.

"Oh, she had to go take care of some family emergency stuff. She'll be back tomorrow. But don't you worry none, I can help you with anything you need, anything at all that cross your heart, just say it"

Ethan didn't even bother to look at her, He turned around and marched out of the hospital, hopping into a taxi to his school.

stop at his school, holding to his dorm, not long after he stomped up to his room, ready for a nap.

But when he opened the door, and before he could react someone grabbed him from behind!

They put a stinky, yucky rag over his nose and mouth. Ethan kicked and wiggled, trying to get away, but everything started going black and fuzzy.

The last thing he 'membered was being pulled away, his feet dragging on the ground.

And then, everything went dark.
