Chapter 609: Spirit Stone Hunt (3)
Chapter 609: Spirit Stone Hunt (3)
Allen's hunt showed no signs of slowing down.
After a wave of 100000 ghosts was defeated in an hour, the next wave was already there.
That kept repeating for more than 5 hours, and the day ended with 1000000 ghosts hunted.
But Allen was oblivious to the fact that the dragonkin were crying with relief knowing it was finally over.
The next day they just focused on collecting the Spirit Stones while resting from fighting.
They would continue like that, hunting one day and collecting the next.
Since most ghosts vanished after being defeated, it was easy to pick up the Spirit Stones.
"Is it really alright for us to take all these materials though?"
The area outside the fort walls looked like a mountain of treasure to Abigayle.
"Of course. Other than the Spirit Stones and Faith Points, it's your compensation for fighting."
"I see. Thank you very much."
(Alright, I'm getting more Spirit Stones now. Maybe I should go get some more Spiritual Power Regeneration Rings, though a bracelet like that would be nice too.)
Allen checked the Faith Card, and it showed 10000000000 Points.
He had made an arrangement with the God of Magic Isiris to exchange those Points, so he had obtained a few Faith Cards, giving them to Abigayle and Merle.
Hunting the 1000000 ghost had given him 4000000000 Points, so each ghost gave around 4000 Points, and he felt like he could expect that number of Points every day.
If he was able to obtain a bracelet to regenerate Spiritual Power on top of the rings, the amount regenerated could increase 4 times.
Allen watched from the wall as the dragonkin went out to pick up the Spirit Stones, and Sophie approached him.
"Should we help too?"
"You should go build the second fort. And a city with a treasury too."
Allen wanted to duplicate the number of Spirit Stones he could get.
"Understood."
"Ah, but before that I'd like to continue using Generation, so use Spirit God's Blessing where Shea is."
"Of course."
Allen teleported away with Sophie and Cecile to help Shea with her training as well.
***
"Is it going well?"
Allen also asked Shea that.
"Yeah, my Skill Level just went up again."
"That's good. It'll just be a matter of time before you catch Lord Giran then."
Allen grinned.
"Why do you always talk so brazenly?"
'Why do you always talk so brazenly?'
Shea and Giran's voices overlapped.
"Well then, Spirit God Rosen, grant us your blessing. Spirit God's Blessing!!"
Sophie raised her hands and particles of light began to rain.
Allen was impressed that she still did the whole ceremony even at her Level.
"Alright, good luck with everything here then."
"Yeah."
***
After leaving Shea, Allen returned to the Paradise of Primordial Beasts.
"Oh, you won't say anything about wasting time picking up Spirit Stones?"
"Of course not, Cecile. I want everyone to focus on their own trials."
"I guess."
Merus and the summons had returned to the Earth Labyrinth, so there was only Cecile and Sophie from the party in the fort.
"Alright, I'll go build the other fort then."
"Yes please. I'll tell Abigayle about building the city, so let's gather up again in the afternoon."
Allen wanted to bring some magic devices from Allen's Army too, making the life of the dragonkin easier. He wanted to consult with Abigayle first to know which to bring though.
"Okay."
As Sophie climbed on a Bird B summon and flew away, Allen began to plan his next moves.
Eventually the second fort was built, and there was progress with the living quarters..
The city separate from the forts to house all the Spirit Stones was also being built.
(I guess the ghosts that can't be used as wood or stone material can be used for farms.)
The materials left by plant and mineral ghosts were not all usable by dragonkin.
So Allen decided to build farmlands around the city where those could be used.
Eventually they would run out of ghosts in that area and would need to move to another, so it was best to have a way to sustain life properly there.
Thinking of all that filled Allen with excitement as he dreamed of all the Spirit Stones he would get.
"It'll take some time to turn all of these into Golden Eggs."
Cecile picked up one of the Spirit Stones from the ground and muttered that.
It took Allen a day to get through 10000 Spirit Stones, so it would take a while to use everything.
Merus did not have any Spiritual Power, so he could not use Generation.
"No, Cecile. I'll mostly use them to raise the Skill Level of Generation."
"Oh, so like Magic Stones?"
"Yes."
Allen would be using the new Spirit Stones to Generate Wraith D summons, which required 20 Spirit Stones.
They could not produce Golden Eggs, so instead Allen used the Skill [Fast Summon] to churn through the Spirit Stones.
Allen's Spiritual Power after all his equipment and buffs reached 200000.
The Spiritual Power Regeneration Ring would restore 1% each second, so it was possible to calculate how much Spiritual Power Allen had available in a day.
200000 x 1% x 3600 (seconds per hour) x 6 (for 1 day) = 43200000
-Divine Techniques can only be used for 1 hour each day
-Generation is a Divine Technique so it can only be used for 1 hour each day
-The cooldown can go down to 6 hours with 2 cooldown halving items
-Sophie's Divine Technique [Spirit God's Blessing] can reset cooldowns (at 7 and 21 hours)
-Overall Generation can be used at 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 hours of each day, making it 6 times
-If Luck was there with his Great Spirits things would be different
Sophie also had Skills to restore Spiritual Power.
Allen was planning on using all the Spirit Stones he could to reach Skill Level 8 of Generation today, and activate the second cycle of Generation within a month.
Given the cooldowns, he could not use Generation all the time, but he wanted to have enough Spirit Stones piled up for those times.
"Cecile, let's go back to Boaso. We have to bring new dragonkin to this fort."
"Yes, we built 2 forts after all."
"Abigayle, do you have a moment?"
"Hm? What is it?"
Allen told him about his next plans. He was still not satisfied with 1000000 Spirit Stones a day.
He also leafed endlessly through the Grimoire, since he still had more things to do that day.
"Tomorrow you'll split the dragonkin into 2 groups of 20000 between both forts. I'll bring more dragonkin to make that possible."
"I see, so you want to scatter around those with experience to speed things up."
Allen was glad that Abigayle caught up on things so quickly.
"Yes, and that's why I'd like to have 40000 dragonkin here."
"We should consult with Lord Somei first. Maybe he's already gotten a response too."
"That's true, having Tokugara's wardens would also help."
"Hm? So you'll bring his wardens here?"
"Of course, we should keep a good watch over his wardens considering how close he is to the king."
"I see, so you want to have them in an easy to observe place."
"Exactly. And we're getting a lot of valuable materials here, so we should let them decide who they really want to serve."
Allen's face was turning more menacing as he said that.
He had seen how Tokugara's warden leader Dakkas had looked at the equipment Somei gave him.
(Like a politician once said, give lands to those who want lands, and gold to those who want gold.)
Allen recalled something from his past life.
"We dragonkin just want to fulfill our duty, so try to not take things too far."
"Of course. Let's go then."
Allen, Cecile, and Abigayle teleported to the city of Boaso.
There Somei told them that Tokugara had agreed to have Somei as Supreme Chief, and now all dragonkin clans were united.
After that, Allen transported 40000 dragonkin across 2 days to the Paradise of Primordial Beasts, while the forts became big enough that each could house 100000 people.
Around 10000 dragonkin also began to move into the city with the treasury.
Soon it would be time to make the farmlands and different factories.
Allen wanted the wardens to have a sustainable source of food, so he went to Albahar Village to ask if there was anyone there who wanted to work on the city and farmlands.
Even those without Talents could just hang around the wardens and reach Level 60 within a day, letting them go to the Talent Change Dungeon on the surface.
If they got a Talent that could not be used in the farms, they could also join the hunting team.
***
5 days passed after that, and now Allen was drooling wildly as he checked the results of those 5 days in his Grimoire, so Cecile had to reprimand him about his appearance.
It had not been the most efficient of days, but counting the Spirit Stones he had already used, there had been over 10000000 Spirit Stones gathered.
Now the 2 forts produced around 3000000 Spirit Stones in a day.
Meanwhile Merle was still fighting Demigod Rank ghosts in the Earth Labyrinth, quickly increasing the number of Faith Points he got as well, leading to a combined 14000000000 Faith Points across 2 days.
He was planning on using all those Points to trade with the God of Magic Isiris for various items.
[Items tradeable for Faith Points]
-5000000000 Points: Spiritual Power Regeneration Ring - 1% Spiritual Power per second
-10000000000 Points: Sacred Spirit Bracelet - Strength +5000, Mana +5000, 1% Spiritual Power per second
-20000000000 Points: Mythic Spirit Bracelet - Strength +10000, Mana +10000, 3% Spiritual Power per second, Cooldowns halved
-30000000000 Points: Divine Spirit Bracelet - Strength +30000, Mana +30000, 5% Spiritual Power per second, Cooldowns halved
-50000000000 Points: Spiritual Power Regeneration Ring S - Strength +30000, Mana +30000, 5% Spiritual Power per second
-50000000000 Points: Three Realms Bracelet - Strength +50000, Mana +50000, 10% Spiritual Power per second, Cooldowns halved
No matter how much Allen tried to negotiate, he could not get anything that would reduce cooldowns by more than half.
Maybe that was due to some of the laws of this world.
Now that he could obtain better items, he no longer needed the rings he got first, but there was no way of trading them back for Faith Points, only for other items.
[Example of a possible exchange]
A Mythic Spirit Bracelet and 10000000000 Points can be traded for a Divine Spirit Bracelet
[The item Allen has equipped currently]
-30000000000 Faith Points: Divine Spirit Bracelet x1
"Hmm, it really feels like I've been farming for levels before fighting a boss."
Allen raised the arm with the bracelet while feeling a sense of deja vu.
"Hey, Allen. I thought we were just going to talk to the Mythical Bird Rame?"
Cecile did not like Allen's ominous remark.
"I know. But who knows what's going to happen."
"I really don't like how that sounds."
And so Allen set up a system to obtain Spirit Stones and it was time to return to their original goal of making the Mythical Bird Rame into a Divine Bird.
"
