Her Husband is My Lover

"Do you think we can do it?" Valentina asked.

"I am not sure about this because I don't know if your mother is involved in this or not!" Jason Answered.

"Jason, I really couldn't believe that my mother is involved in this..." Valentina said.

"I couldn't too... But at last, we need to judge everyone... The person who is dead is your father... The person who is great at heart... I am sure there would be something behind this... Because the person who is great at his heart would never do something like that to his daughter!" Jason replied.

"I thought my father hates me all these years... Just because I was borned as girl?" Valentina asked.

"Well... Maybe... That's what he used to tell but... No one knows what was the real reason except... Your dad!" Jason answered.

"Huh? Do you really think that he hates me not just because of I am a girl... But there is something more?" Valentina asked making Jason look at him.

"Valentina... I am not telling anything... While you are just figuring these stuff out here..." Jason answered making Valentina sigh.

"I really don't know why alk these thoughts are just coming into my mind but I do really feel like there is something too... Like... This is all jsut so mysterious... After whatever you told me about the lawyer... My doubts raised even more... I just don't know who to believe right now... All these is confuse, Jason..." Valentina said as her hands went through her hair as she sighed. 

"Calm down... Calm down yourself... Here... Have some water." Jason said as he grabbed the glass of water and handed it over to Valentina.

Valentina gulped down the glass of water in just one gulp.

"You okay?" Jason asked and Valentina nodded her head in yes.

"Yeah... I guess!" Valentina answered. 

"Val... Let me tell you something." Jason said as he sat in front of her.

"I think... I really, really think there are many people are involved in this." Jaosn said making Valentina frown at her.

"Huh? Many people?" Valentina asked and Jason nodded his head in yes. 

"Yes... Many people. If my guess is right then there must had been happened in past... Like... Even before you were born..." Jason answered making Valentina sigh.

"How would we get to know what happened in everyone's lives right now, Jason?" Valentina asked as she sighed.

"I know, we can't find out like this... But we really need to look after few people we know right now... That were close to yoru dad in the past!" Jason answered making Valentina nod her head.

"Maybe..." Valentina said.

"Valentina... Don't mind it... But here... We need to doubt your mother. We can't trust her here... I am sorry to tell you like this. Even though, she is your mom and yoru father's wife... I really do think that she has something to do with Something related to yoru father's death!" Jason replied making Valentina sigh.

"I don't have anyone to trust right now, Jason... It feel like... Everyone is trying to hide something from me... I don't know why, but this is really bothering me. And now, Mom too... I just had accepted her as my mother a few days back and I never thought that I would be doubting on her like this ever!" Valentina said making Jason sigh.

"I can understand!" Jason replied.

"Things will be different everytime... They won't be same... They change as per situations and most importantly... People do chance too according to their situations." Jason said making Valentina sigh.

"I guess, you are right... Seeing all these, I just couldn't trust anyone right now... Because I am not sure who is involved in this right now. And if anything... Any single word is out, the Persons will be looking out for their safety and will never let us get any clues either!" Valentina replied.

"True... People are selfish. They only wanted to save themselves while they bury other while in the way they save themselves!" Jason said making Valentina look up at him.

"Jason..." Valentina called making him turn his head towards her.

"Yes?" Jason asked.

"Your parents!" Valentina said making Jason frown at him.

"My parents?" Jason asked.

"They know my parents right?" Valentina asked making Jason frown.

"Yes?" Jason answered but it came out like a question to him too.

"Do you think, they would might know anything about my parents and what might happened in the past?" Valentina asked making Jason frown.

"They might... I am not sure..." Jason answered.

"How about we tell them to come here and ask them?" Valentina asked.

"That's a good idea... If they don't know anything then they might help us in investating this case." Jason answered making Valentina nod.

"Yes. They will be really helpful for us!" Valentina Replied and Jason nodded his head.

"Yes... I will call mom later today and tell them to come to New York as soon as possible. Dad might not wrap up the work soon. They will take there time to come here though... Bit until then, we need to find something that can relaky help us and take this investigation ahead!" Jason said.

"Yes... For that, we need to wait for the investigator call and wait until he tells about the lawyer's son detail and stuff! Until then, we can't do anything!" Valentina replied.

"But, Valentina... What if we don't get any information from him? Because there is a chance that he might know any thing because he was a child too when his father passed away!" Jason replied.

"Ahh, Jason... Don't scare me... I just pray that he might have any information!" Valentina said.

"What if there is none? You need to have a back up plan!" Jason replied making Valentina sigh. 

"I do have one... But I am not sure about it through!" Valentina said making Jason frown at her.

"And that is?" Jason asked as he raised his eyebrows at her.

"To meet George Avalanzo." Valentina answered as she looked into Jason's eyes make him frown at her.
