Her Husband is My Lover

"Xavier..." Elizabeth called making Xavier come out of his thoughts.

"Ahhh... Ye... Yes, Mom..." Xavier said.

"What happened? Where did you zoned out?" Elizabeth asked and Xavier shook his head in no.

"Umm... No... Nowhere... It's nothing..." Xavier answered.

"Come... Let's have lunch together." Elizabeth said.

"Umm... Dad?" Xavier asked.

"He is already downstairs waiting for you to come!" Elizabeth answered.

"Ohh... Okay... Let's go." Xavier said and Elizabeth frowned.

"Xavier..." Elizabeth called making him look at her.

"Yes, Mom?" Xavier asked.

"Is something Bothering you, Son?" Elizabeth asked.

"No, Mom... No... Why did you ask that?" Xavier asked.

"No... It seems like you are bothered about something... Your face looks so dull. You know that you can talk to me anything if anything is bothering you right?" Elizabeth asked.

"Of course, Mom... I know... And I do it everytime... It just... About out bussiness stuff... That's it." Xavier said.

"Alright. If you say so... Let's go downstairs now... Your dad said, he is hungry." Elizabeth replied and Xavier nodded his head at her.

They both smiled at each other and walked downstairs.

As soon as Xavier walked downstairs, he saw George with a bright smile on his face. He has never seen him like this ever before... And this is the first time ever he has seen him like this... But this smile is something that he can't say about... It just felt so genuine and from his heart for the first time in his life... 

"Xavier... Sit down..." Elizabeth said and Xavier took a deep breath as he saw how brightly his parents are smiling for the first time in their lives and he saw how his father looks at his mother with love in his eyes for the first time in his life... He has never seen his father looking at his mother like that... Never in his lite... He always saw George making a face while he looks at Elizabeth and Always used to be rude with her but this time, it looks different for him... And their relationship made him confused...

He didn't understand the meaning of the feelings and emotions here? Like, how did they hold their feelings for each other for 25 years by living under a same roof... Heck... They were living in a same room for almost 25 years and never tried to communicate about anything? 

He just confused on how can this be possible? 

How can his mother just trust his father so blindly? She should have know him so well than anyone... But, it's her who talks good about her husband without knowing anything about him? She is just blind to see the real face of her husband while she is blinded in his love! 

She has no idea how cruel his father can get... But Xavier just can't open up to her right now... He can't just see his mother sad... Again... When she is this happy after 25 years. 

He sighed as he looked at George who is staring at him back.

"Xavier... Xavier..." Elizabeth called making Xavier look at her.

"What happened to you? From how long should I keep calling you?" Elizabeth asked making Xavier frown.

"I told you to sit down..." Elizabeth said making Xavier nod his head and he sat down on the chair.

While the maid walked towards them to serve.

"No... It's fine. Leave... I will serve them." Elizabeth said and the maid nodded their heads and left from there.

George smiled at Elizabeth as he looked at her serving him and Xavier with a bright smile on his face. 

Elizabeth looked at George and blushed.

All theis didn't go unnoticed by Xavier which makes him irriated.

He knows that, they both had stopped doing whatever they were just because he is in the house... He sighed as he thought that he will leave as soon as he has his lunch... Because they need privacy right now...

Xavier started eating his lunch alone as he didn't look up to see their smiling faces... Mainly not George's face... 

Seieng his face, makes Xavier irritated... He is angry that he is playing around with his mother. 

He wanted to ask what is going on between them but Xavier knows that George would never tell anything to him... Not so soon. 

"Xavier..." Elizabeth called making Xavier look up at her.

"Are you staying over today?" Elizabeth asked making Xavier frown. He looked at George who just has his head down and having his lunch.

"Umm... No, Mom. I need to go." Xavier answered.

"Ohh... You are going to your home?" Elizabeth asked and Xavier took a deep breath as he really doesn't want to go back to his home and see Rose's face... Though, it's been 4 days for him since he saw her face... 

He knows that Rose will surely create scene if he goes to his house asking where was he all these days and why didn't he come home? 

He took a deep breath as he really doesn't have any energy to fight with her but he knows that, he needs to face her and talk to her and give answers yo her questions... Because he can't just escape from her. Even if he does, how long will he escape from her? 

Xavier sighed as he looked at George who is looking at him with his corner of his eyes.

"Yes. I am going to my home." Xavier answered making Elizabeth smile.

"Great! Rose will be happy seeing you early today." Elizabeth said making Xavier sigh as he shrugged.

"I am not sure about that..." Xavier replied as he again started having his lunch.

"Ohh... It's fine... Everything alright between you and her right?" Elizabeth asked as he looked at Xavier while he looked at George who still didn't raise his head and looked at him.

Xavier turned his head at Elizabeth and smiled at her.

"Well... Yeah... We are good." Xavier answered but he wants to yell out loud and say that, nothing is alright. Nothing... Nothing is alright with him... But he just kept silent.
