Her Husband is My Lover

Xavier got out of his car and walked into his company. As soon as he walked inside Xavier's PA Aria ran towards him.

"Good Morning, Mr. Avalanzo!" Aria greeted.

Xavier just nodded his head as he walked towards the Elevator, and Aria followed him.

"I was informed that you would not come to the company today," said Aria and Xavier looked at her angrily, making her look down.

"Don't listen to my Dad. He is not your boss. I am your boss. You got it?" Xavier asked sternly.

"Yes, Mr. Avalanzo. I am sorry," Aria answered looking at him, but saw him zoned out somewhere.

Xavier went to Valentina's house to check her, whether she was good or not, but he didn't expect that Jason would come out of her house.

Yes, he knew that Jason stays a night in Valentina's house, but they used to maintain there distance. But that morning Xavier had seen a different Valentina.

Xavier was completely shocked, when she hugged Jason and he kissed on Valentina's forehead. Yes, it's normal to get touchy with best friends, but for Xavier, it didn't look like a normal friendship for the first time.

'Maybe, because I am married now?' Xavier thought.

'But, they are just friends, right?' Another question raised in Xavier's mind.

'Did she know that... I am married?' Xavier asked himself.

'But she was like my family... She would have to know about me? Or else... Her Mom... Didn't tell her?' Another question raised in Xavier's mind.

"Mr. Avalanzo..." Aria called and Xavier looked at her.

"You should get inside the Elevator," said Aria and Xavier frowned looking at the elevator.

"Cancel my meetings for today," said Xavier as he stepped back.

"Mr. Avalanzo..." Aria called as he took a step back and ran outside the lobby towards his car.

"Keys!" asked Xavier, and the driver handed him the car keys.

Xavier opened the car door and got into the driver seat.

He started the engine, and started driving away from the driveway.

Xavier's mind was filled with confusion, and was driving rashly. He didn't care about anything then, because he only wanted one thing. And that was to know about Jason and Valentina's relationship.

"You can't be someone else's when you are already mine." Xavier said to himself as he drove.

"And you know that..." Xavier said again as a tear fell down from his eye.

Xavier stopped his car in front of Jackson fashion modeling Company, and got out of the car.

Xavier directly walked inside the company.

He got inside the private elevator, and pressed the button of Valentina's office floor, which was also the last floor of the company.

"Jesus, this girl will be the death of me one day." Xavier said as he got out of the Elevator and the floor receptionist walked towards him.

"Hello, Mr. Avalanzo. How can I help you?" The receptionist asked.

"Is she in her office?" Xavier asked.

"No, Mr. Avalanzo. Ms. Jackson is in a meeting." The receptionist answered.

"I will be in her office. Don't tell her, I am here." Xavier said.

"Yes, Mr. Avaloazo." The receptionist replied and Xavier walked towards Valentina's office.

He opened her office room, stepping inside closing the door behind him.

He walked inside and went to the big glass window looking out at the wonderful view of the city.

"How should I explain to her about this?" Xavier asked himself just then the door got opened.

"I want the details of it in 1 hour. Do you understand?" Valentina's stern voice boomed in the office as soon as she stepped inside her office with her PA and Head of the Manager.

"Yes, Ms. Jackson," others replied. Just then, Valentina turned around and her eyes widened looking at Xavier in front of her eyes.

"Get out!" Valentina said looking at Xavier without any second thought.

"I wanted to talk to you..."

Valentina cut off Xavier as she turned around to her PA and Head of the manager yelling at them.

"I said GET OUT!" Valentina shouted at her PA and the Head of the Manager, making them flinch.

"Yes, Ms. Jackson." The head of the department replied as he gulped down seeing her anger raise and the PA, the Head of the department walked out of the office closing the door behind them.

"Tell me?" Valentina asked. Xavier just took a deep breath, walked towards her, and hugged Valentina tightly.

Valentina felt as her life got back again as soon as he hugged her. Her heart started beating fast and her blood rushed faster through her body. A shiver ran through her body.

But, Valentina took a deep breath and pushed him away slapping him hard on his cheek.

"Val..."

Valentine cut off Xavier in mid-sentence.

"Shut the hell up." Valentina yelled at Xavier.

"You know, right?" Xavier asked with a chuckle.

"How would I not know about your wedding, when your dad and my dad are best friends?" Valentina shouted at Xavier.

"I am sorry." Xavier said making Valentina chuckle.

"SORRY? Huh?" Valentina asked raising her eyes.

"I am really sorry," Xavier said again.

"Xavier..." Valentina said sternly.

"Why did you do this to me?" Valentina asked and Xavier just looked away.

" Your Silence would not give me any answers, Xavier," Valentina said sternly as she walked towards the couch sitting on it.

"I... I..." Xavier stuttered.

"Why are you stuttering?" Valentina asked.

"I will leave now..." Xavier answered as he took a step to leave the office.

"Again... You are again doing the same mistake, Xavier," said Valentina and Xavier turned around to her.

"You are not the man I know! You different among all men, but now, you are behaving like a coward." Valentina said looking into Xavier's eyes.

"COWARD?" Xavier asked and Valentina nodded getting up from the couch.

"Yes, COWARD... Because only they behave like this!" Valentine answered as she kept her hand on his cheek where she slapped him hardly a few minutes ago.
