Chapter 622: Hannah's call-2
" Head toward the city first." Samuel asked Arthur who was driving the car.
" Why? Did you forgot something?" Hannah questioned.
" No, I just wanted to buy some dresses. With the premier right around the corner-"
" Thank you big brother~! You are the best!" Hannah exclaimed severely misunderstanding the situation.
" It's not for you beside you are not coming with me this time."
" What?"
" I don't know what would happen so I am not taking you and the girls with me. I don't know about my parents because they are used to sneaking around but I will also ask them not to be there, not that they would ever listen to me." He clearly stated and with how serious he was, Hannah knew her brother had entered his protective phase! No matter how much she pleads, he wouldn't change his mind!
" Can't I go if Aunt Laura is there? I don't understand why you are being like this!"
" No, it's too dangerous. This time especially everyone would be looking at me and I don't want you to get swallowed up in that mess. Beside, you don't even like such tedious parties. You can hit the stores with Adele, Iblis and Mayra or could hang around with Elise to discover new addition to the estate.
There is a plenty of things to do while you are here." Hearing his options, it didn't sound that bad.
She had always went to his premier with her parents as a sign to show support for her brother. But she realized that most of the people there were wearing fake smile and laugh weirdly whenever they talked. It's like everyone was so used to acting that they carried it on in their everyday life.
Not to mention even if she was a child at that time, she was required to behave like an adult always showing courtesy instead of running around and eating to her heart's content. Naturally it became a chore after attending couple of events.
" Fine. But if you are not taking anyone with you why are you buying a dress? Don't tell me that you have a weird hobby."
" What? No. I have a couple of people in mind but you probably don't know them."
" Who?"
" I said you don't know them."
Hannah became alarmed hearing him skirt around the topic. Knowing her brother, they probably wouldn't be his female friends or any platonic relationships which basically meant that he already began sneaking behind her back! She just got here and already obtained valuable information as a mole.
But the question remained, how would she ever stop him if he was seeing someone outside the estate? Her mission was to keep him busy or disrupt his love life until her vacation ends but she couldn't do that if he was always outside! She needed to keep cling close to him as long as she could.
" Can't I atleast meet them? How many are we talking about here?" She wanted to fish for number of 'enemies'.
" In due time but focus on yourself for now but help me pick out few dresses here." Samuel saw that they had arrived at the store.
It was the same Armani store they shopped at yesterday. The manager was surprised to see him visit the store again, she thought there was something wrong with the things she sold yesterday but when he asked them to show dresses, she realized he was shopping for someone else this time.
It was fairly uneventful, he was in and out of there in half an hour. He asked them to deliver everything to Kate's address. Hannah was able to glance at the address and she recognized it as semi wealthy area around central london.
" If you don't know her well why are you buying dresses for her?"
" Are you really asking me that? Can't we just talk about something else?"
" No I like to know what you have been up to these days?"
"Alright, I like to treat them well. Cars? Money? Diamonds? I have plenty to share." The look on her face was priceless. Samuel enjoyed it for few moments before bursting out with laughter.
" I am just joking. She doesn't know what I will be wearing beside I don't want her to spurge on pointless dresses by pressuring her. Beside I asked her out to accompany me don't you think it's my responsibility to buy her something nice?"
" Don't ever do that again!" She really thought finally a gold digger showed up in her brothers life. She had always been afraid and even suspected Mayra to be one but talking with her they knew each other for quite some time and she didn't feel like she was in it for money.
" What about you? did you finally found your first boyfriend?" He asked.
" No way! I said I will be single for the rest of my life and having a brother like you works wonders because my standards are too high."
" Good. I will donate few cats so that you could fully embrace that life." He chuckled.
" Brother!"
" What? What else do you expect to get out of single life?"
"Not living with a bunch of cats obviously! I don't even like them!"
" Alright, dogs it is."
She was much more flustered when they were talking about her. It was a nice way for Samuel to stir the conversation away from taking about his love life but he began to suspect something sensing that she was much more interested in the topic since she arrived at the estate.
It could be because of a genuine worry because of his unorthodox lifestyle but it's not like she didn't know about it. They practically grew up together.

...
They drove straight toward the main mansion because everyone was already there for family lunch. Even his parents took the afternoon off because they wanted to welcome Hannah with a nice meal. But more importantly, Kiko that stayed the night didn't met them yesterday.
Both families were on cordial terms, it's not they had deep ties but that didn't mean Rothschild would neglect when such an important guest stayed with them. She already had breakfast together with elders before leaving.
It was to show basic courtesy and since she was a long time acquaintance of the family, they needed to treat her even better which was why heavy preparation were made all throughout the night to hold a impressive bunch for the royal guest.
Samuel was more worried about facing his uncle because of the borrowed Audi. He asked around and thankfully heard that he was not seen in the estate since morning. By now, someone must have already delivered the car to his garage so it's not out of imagination that he must be going through every nook and cranny to assess for damages.
They went through the back garden hearing the laughter and giggles of children intensifying with each step. He that there were many kids playing around among which he could spot Elise and Grayson. Grayson took notice and came running along with Elise, the bad blood between them was nowhere to be seen. It could flip if Anya was here but he knew Aunt Karoline must already had the talk with her.
" Brother, sister Hannah. They had been waiting for you!"
" Sami!" Elise as usual signal Samuel to pick her up.
" I can't now. I have to go inside. We can play later." Samuel patted her head. She didn't say anything just nodded like she understood. Beside she was having too much fun playing with kids around her own age. Most of them were children of staff that usually run around the estate messing with anyone and everyone but no one hates them for it.
As kids, it's great that they get to play to their heart's content uninterrupted.
" Elise. What about me? Do you want to play with big sister?" Hannah took this rare opportunity to get closer to the shy little girl.
" No." Elise flat out denied her.
" I am playing with Gray and his friends." She turned around and ran off toward the group again.
" Go play with her. Make sure other kids don't bully her alright?" Samuel asked his little brother who replied with confidence before joining them.
" Don't be sad. She is having fun, we should grab lunch first and join them. She will warm up to you eventually." He consoled Hannah who looked like her whole world shattered.
" I don't have that much time. She will be gone by the time I get another vacation!"
" Come on, it's not you are not going to see her in the future. Don't worry about it." He dragged her inside. Along the way he greeted the people that were watching over the kids and headed toward the dining area.
He saw everyone there, Adele and Iblis was talking with his mother while Mayra was spending time with his father and grandparents. These two groups didn't make any sense on paper but they were having fluid conversation.
" The long awaited guest finally decided to show up." Mary asked.
" I am not-" Samuel thought she was talking to him but she hugged Hannah.
" Aunt Mary."
" Let's go we have so much to talk about!" They left without even acknowledging his existence.
Eventually everyone sat down as food began to fly out of the kitchen. They made way too much because of Kiko but Samuel was not complaining as he began to pick up his favorite dishes.
