Alan who tactfully hung up the phone return to do his 'business' in private box. He didn't even sit down before the social flower start asking question. She snaked around his body like a succubus pressing her soft bosoms on to him. For a man like Alan, it was already something that he couldn't resist against. He was already feeling the joy of hugging her scrumptious body.

" Honey, who was it? You were gone for a long time." She said while pouting. It was obvious she was feigning being angry but since he was in a good mood he simply laughed it off. With such a beauty in his arms, Alexis's distress call as well as the trouble of directors simply vanished from his mind.

What he wasn't able to see was the shadow of contempt in her eye. She was obviously playing him but his emotional prowess was not good enough to see it. If not, why would he be here instead of working?

Still, he didn't answer her properly. The girl also thought that it was nothing important, she didn't need to worry about it as long as he was here with her. They began to entangle exploring the horizon of adult entertainment.

Since her windows were open, even the passerby wondered, what happened to make such a beauty howl curses at the moon?

" Miss, what should we do?" The driver hurriedly pulled up the windows and asked. After all, he worked for the Hermes family, accompanying Alexis for this trip.

Isn't he afraid his life's work would be destroyed by this idiot!?" She kept complaining. Anyone could tell that their union was arranged by Alan's father to gain foothold in the company.

There was no trace of love for Alan in her eyes, only anger. Even if Bernard wanted to her help to strengthen his son's position, what Alexis wanted was something else entirely.

" But miss, what about the task? You should know the family is eager and restless these past few week." The driver reminded her again. It was so that she didn't lose focus from her ultimate goal.

" I know, you don't have to remind me. I will not act out before everything is in place. It's just, I don't get why my luck is so bad to encounter such a pervert. If I didn't want to control the LVHM group through him, I would have already signed his death warrant!" She paused to compose herself.

" Since their family foundation is already crumbling, don't blame me for taking advantage of it." She showed a shrewd smile. Alan didn't know that he had been flattering a snake for the past few week. As long as his use was over, he would be discarded.

Alexis was fully confident in transferring the shares in his hand because she knew all his pressure points. Alan was also dumb, it was not hard for her to lovebomb him and use him around for few months so that other wouldn't suspect anything. Even if they did, they would not have any legal ground to oppose Hermes and her.

" Are we going to the club? I heard this matter is urgent. It's a pity we have to give up because of him." The driver added. Since they were ready why not drag that idiot with them for the meeting?

" I don't know. He has been acting distant ever since he met that bitch. He is obviously not short of women but at the same time, this girl seems different." Alexis's mind was screaming that there was something wrong but she decided to put her worries aside for time being.

" Let's head back first. I will pick him up first thing in the morning to see Count Hay. I believe no matter how much Delphina tries, she wouldn't be able to gather capital to exchange for four percent of shares in such a short notice." She sighed. Even if she didn't want to agree with Alan but she knew Delphina didn't have means to gather this much wealth currently.

She might be able to take out some loans or from her supporters but they would at least need a week time or at least a couple of days. Contrary to their belief they didn't even know that her guardian angel had already landed in Paris.

Samuel's itinerary was something even they couldn't decipher, first because he always travelled on a whim and secondly, no one dared to peek on Rothschild's business other than their enemy. It was a serious violation that could result in retaliation from the family.

Hermes and LVHM or even nobles were no match for Samuel's family. They were a legend in the upper elites that these people could only bow down to. From the demoness Laura to her husband even the older generation of Morgan and Royal family there were countless stories cementing their prestige.

Beside, their numbers were scarce barely a handful of them ever met any Rothschild's family face to face. Even the people under the family were well respected like Daniel. Their reputation was intact since they never faught or tried to use their influence on others.

It was one of the reason why Samuel was so well known, he became the role model of second generation through sheer effort and dazzling accomplishment.
