285  Heavenly lightning!

"It's about Heavens, Tian... You should see this." "Something about Heavens?" Zhao Tian squinted his eyes upon hearing Xia Shenyi's words.

Hearing the word 'Heavens' everyone was intrigued, even Freya Everglade, as they had never seen or interacted with these Heavens directly.

Zhao Tian waved his hand and everyone sat back in their places. Zhao Ying pulled Zhao Tian's hand and made him sit between her and Zhao Suyin.

"Tian'er." Smiling heartily, Zhao Suyin leaned on his shoulder and Zhao Tian too, wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Mom..."

Xia Shenyi glanced over at the two fire spirits, who looked like they were scared of their lives. Both of the fire spirits walked towards the center and looked at Zhao Tian. "My Lord."

Zhao Tian smiled faintly and Xia Shenyi spoke "Tian, the Empyreal flames are formed by a high concentration of fire energy and also by the essence of Heavens."

Freya Everglade let out a sigh "Shenyi, you gathered us here to take a lesson about Emyreal flames?"

"Bitch, shut up."

-_- Freya Everglade was dumbfounded hearing her cursing and stayed silent, while a few women couldn't help but chuckle at her bewildered expression. Xia Shenyi shook her head helplessly and glanced at Tian "Tian, since the Empyreal flames are formed by the essence of the Heavens, I thought that, they might know something about the Heavens, so..."

The Golden Flame spirit nervously spoke "B-But we would be punished by the Heavens again."

Letting out a sigh, Xia Shenyi spoke "It is for your Archon to watch."

The Phoenix flame narrowed its gaze and both flame spirits looked at each other before nodding their heads.

*zap* Suddenly, a crackling bolt of vibrant yellow lightning materialized in the room, casting a bright glow as it streaked towards the two fiery spirits. "ARGHHHH!!!!" The two fire spirits let out anguished screams as the unbearable pain of the Heavenly lightning surged through their beings, causing them to writhe in agony. The The women were taken aback and their eyes grew wider with surprise as they watched bolts of lightning suddenly appear and strike the small fire spirits. Zhao Tian was shocked to hear their scream and instantly stood up. Reacting swiftly, he reached out to grab the yellow lightning that was crackling in the air.

Xia Shenyi's heart dropped upon seeing him about to catch the lightning. "Tian, wai-"

*THRISSSHHH* At that instant, Zhao Tian's hand made contact with the Heavenly Lightning, and the lightning fell on him rupturing through his whole blood and veins.

"T-Tian..." Xia Shenyi's heart skipped a beat as she laid eyes on Zhao Tian, his body enveloped in a dazzling yellow light while bolts of Heavenly lightning crackled and danced around him. Panicking, she quickly took a step forward and Freya Everglade and Shi Yixian too rushed to help him. "Honoured One."

"My Liege!"

*THRISHH* But they were pushed away by the outburst of astral energy and took a step backward.

"Tian'er!"

"Tian!"

"Husband!"

The rest of the women in the room let out terrified screams and quickly scrambled to their feet from their seats to move closer to him. *swish* However, the heavenly lightning suddenly disappeared and the two fire spirits fell unconscious, their bodies emitting sizzling hot smoke.

*woosh* They disappeared as they returned to Freya Everglade and Ning Xue.

All eyes of the women in the room turned towards Zhao Tian, who was standing in the center of the living room with wisps of steam rising from his body. Despite the smoke, there were no apparent signs of any other injuries. "Tian..." Xia Shenyi hurried near him and following her, others also walked to him in worry.

Zhao Tian turned his gaze and Xia Shenyi asked "Tian, are you alright?" her eyes glancing around his body.

A faint smile appeared on Zhao Tian's lips and he shook his head "Don't worry about me."

Xia Shenyi exhaled deeply, feeling a wave of relief wash over her as she collapsed into Zhao Tian's arms.

He wrapped his arms around her, gently stroking her head and running his fingers through her sleek, dark locks. The other women also let out a collective sigh and were relieved that Zhao Tian was alright. They too, walked close to him and looked around his body to see if he was injured.

"You are worried?"

Xia Shenyi's hands around him got tighter and she gently kissed his lips. "Of course, my heart stopped for a second there, because,.. do you know what you caught in your hands?"

The other women were also puzzled "Yeah, what happened?"

"Some lightning... suddenly appeared."

Ning Xue who was standing beside Freya Everglade looked at her shocked face "Sister Freya... what happened?"

Snapping out of her shock, Freya Everglade glimpsed at Xia Shenyi, her eyes narrowing. "Shenyi, how did Heavenly Lightning come here?"

Xia Shenyi retracted her hands from Zhao Tian creating an opening for the other women to take advantage of the situation by showering him with hugs and kisses one by one. With a fond smile, Zhao Tian reciprocated everyone's kisses. How can he ignore his wives' kisses?

Xia Shenyi turned her gaze to Freya Everglade. "I asked the flame spirits about the Heavens and when they tried to speak, they were struck by the Heavenly lightning."

"So, I just wanted to show that you... but I didn't expect that Tian would jump in."

Chi Miya pulled her lips from the kiss and Zhao Tian turned to look at Xia Shenyi "That is... Heavenly Lightning?"

Xia Shenyi, Shi Yixian and Freya Everglade, three of them nodded at the same time "Yeah, it is."

Ehhh? The other women also looked at each other and began to talk among themselves "Then, the lightning is from the heavens?"

Till the 7th stage? Zhao Tian was confused hearing this and Xia Shenyi spoke clearing his doubts "After reaching Empyrean realm, there is a stage where you need to go through a Heavenly tribulation to ascend further."

"I reached up to the sixth degree of Heavenly tribulation and in each degree, you will get struck by a powerful bolt of Heavenly Lightning."

The women were stunned to hear this "Then, we also need to get struck by lightning to ascend?"

"Won't we get killed?"

Zhao Tian narrowed his eyes "How many degrees of tribulation are there?"
