I Reincarnated As An Immortal Bat Into Another World

Chapter 27 - 27 - Bat the Builder

Chapter 27: - Bat the Builder

"Umm.. Umm.. What's happening? Why are you holding me like this, umm..." She stammered, her fingers fidgeting and her cheeks turning pink with embarrassment.

"Oh.. actually, you were vooo..."

Bong began to explain, but before he could finish his sentence, he suddenly transformed back into a bat. The sudden change caused both of them to start falling from the sky. However, Seraphina quickly unfurled her wings and gracefully descended to the ground, gently landing. At the same time, Bong also managed to slow his descent and land safely nearby.

"Oh, huff huff, that was quite unexpected with this new skill. I can't even maintain its form properly yet; I definitely need to work on mastering it and raising its proficiency," Bong remarked with a slightly embarrassed huff.

He cleared his throat and continued, "Anyway, where was I?"

"You were holding me in this beautiful night, romantically flying through the sky like a couple of vampires dancing in the night," Seraphina said with a playful smile, her eyes sparkling in the moonlight.

"Uh, hey, it was kind of an awkward moment, you know? I won't be doing that again, I promise. I was just about to explain why I was, um, holding you," Bong stammered with an embarrassed and awkward tone, his wings fluttering nervously.

"After I bit you, you fell unconscious on the ground, and I was about to take you to a safe place in the cave. So, I transformed into my Vampire form because, well, I couldn't exactly carry you in Bat form," Bong explained, his voice a mixture of explanation and a touch of awkwardness.

"My Master, you care for me so much," She exclaimed, showing a big thumbs up and winking playfully.

As they walked towards their cave, they reached inside. Bong was eager to use his new function to add things to the cave.

"Now, System, let's get started. Show me the new function," Bong said with anticipation in his voice.

Bong began to envision the new layout of the cave. The previous linear structure gave way to a more elaborate design, with multiple floors descending deep underground. The transformation was astounding - now the cave resembled a multi-level fortress.

He divided the floors with purpose: the first floor would be reserved for Seraphina Nightshade, with a master bedroom and necessary rooms for her comfort. The second floor became Bong's domain, equipped with a similar master bedroom and additional facilities like a training room.

The final, third floor was a grand creation - a magnificent throne room fit for a vampire lord. Chairs were arranged in rows on each side of the throne, emanating an air of power and authority. The entire cave was also rigged with traps, ensuring security and defense.

[Remaining CP : 15K]

As Bong worked on reshaping the cave's structure, Seraphina stood by his side, observing him with an intrigued fascination. Her eyes held a sparkling glow, reflecting her admiration as she watched him intently.

To her, it seemed as if he was channeling his magical prowess into transforming the cave, although in reality, he was simply commanding the System to carry out his design.

The way he held himself in control and focus added to the aura of power and authority that he projected.

"Oh, Master, I didn't know you could wield magic to change the cave like this," Seraphina remarked, her eyes shining with curiosity and admiration.

"Ho Ho, I must say, I've become quite the world-renowned architect, I can do this with just a flick of my wing," Bong chimed in, a mischievous glint in his eyes, as if he was jokingly boasting about his newfound architectural talents.

"I guess we need to give this place a makeover; 'cave' is just too bland for our new digs," Bong quipped with a mischievous glint in his eyes, as if he had just cracked a hilarious joke.

"They both were in deep thought, trying to come up with a name for their cave. After some consideration, Bong came up with a new name.

"How about 'Twilight Sanctum'?" Bong suggested."

"Twilight Sanctum? That sounds intriguing," Seraphina responded with a nod, her eyes sparkling in agreement. It captures the essence of our domain perfectly, a place where darkness and light converge.

"Twilight Sanctum it is, then. A place where shadows and dreams intertwine." Bong grinned, satisfied with the choice.

This cave would serve as the foundation for the new home of the Vampire race and the revival of a race that was once lost in legends.

"So now, let's summon a monster. I still have 15K CP remaining. I'll have it guard the entrance of the Twilight Sanctum," Bong murmured to himself.

"Summon, "

As Bong activated the summoning skill, a glowing circle formed in front of him. From within it, five figures began to materialize, each of them donning tattered green clothing and wielding various weapons. They were goblins.

Bong's excitement quickly turned to disappointment as he gazed at the summoned goblins. He stared at the system screen with a mix of frustration and anger.

[ALERT]

[*cough* *cough*]

[CP : 0]

"Master, from the depths of my heart, I thank you. You've done this for me, for us—to create a sanctuary that will lay the foundation for the revival of the Vampire race," Seraphina expressed with genuine gratitude and excitement.

Bong nodded in understanding. He could empathize with the struggles she had endured. As he embarked on his own adventure to prevent the destruction of his previous world, he was reminded of his past role as humanity's last hope, the lone hero standing against annihilation. The memory of his own race's downfall weighed heavily on his heart, and he recognized the pain and hope that Seraphina carried with her.

He was also on a personal quest to discover the clues that could halt the annihilation of his former world. Memories swirled before his eyes - recollections of embarking on a journey with comrades united by a shared purpose. Yet, one by one, he had seen his companions fall, leaving him to confront the impending destruction alone.

The weight of his past experiences settled on his shoulders, reminding him of the time he found himself transported to the past in another world, assuming the form of a bat. It was then that he began his uphill battle, striving to level up and unearth the means to prevent the catastrophic future he know will loom once again.
