Chapter 50: Monetising
"Wwwwo, awesome, so this is the place?" a Beast man said, a shovel resting on his shoulder as he stood in front of the cave.
"I didn't think it would actually be… this huge. The Prime Minister was the one who founded this place, right?" another Beast man spoke.
"Crazy right, we had a mining g in our country all this time? My wife kicked me out of the house wh I told her, she didn't believe me." The beast man laughed a bit, "Makes me want to take a few for myself".
"Idiot, there are Knights a, be careful how you speak." said the other beast man.
He was right.
It has be two days since Ha Joon did a huge work on the farm land. The four farms in Camelot were now filled with newly planted seed and a more riched vironmt.
That wasn't all, he also appointed some of Mordred's personal knights to keep watch of the mining g he founded, making it one of the highly secured areas in Camelot.
Assigning a special group of beast m to the mining gs to mine more Gyro gems and many others raw materials, they were expected to bring them back to the capital. Ha Joon was not only able to secure more jobs for the beast people, but he was also planning a huge way to boost the economy.
And thus, he knew he needed help from outside sources.
Ha Joon was currtly in Galio's merchant shop with Merlin and Mordred accompanying him.
Seated on the small chair, he grabbed the tea cup set in front of him and took a sip.
Merlin was seated on the arm of the chair, and Mordred stood at the side, her back resting on the wall with her arms tucked.
"So, what do you think? Is it something you can do?" Asked Ha Joon.
"My lord, I honestly still find it hard to know you indeed found a mining g in Camelot, the only kingdom in this contint with a mining g is Silverstein. And ev they don't have one as vast as the one you are telling me now." Galio spoke, looking at the documts.
"I know right? Ohhhooo, I can already feel myself swimming in money." Ha Joon laughed dramatically with the back of his hand covering his man.
"Ev the fact such a rare material like Gyro gems exist there is astounding, this could cause war if other countries find out about this." Galio seemed almost anxious.
Ha Joon sighed, "And you're not the first person telling me this. Why does everyone immediately think of violce?".
"I'm sorry?" Galio looked at him.
"I don't think any country is dumb ough to actually start an all out war to claim a mining g, if that was to happ, you realize other countries would undoubtedly want to do the same? And if more countries get involved, it will only be a matter of time before it becomes a public mining g."
Ha Joon rested his back on the chair,
"Instead, they would most likely want to make investmts into Camelot, treaties, collaborations and stuff like that, that way, they could get a share or at least access to the mining g."
Galio felt a bit embarrassed, "Y.. you're right My lord".
"But you're not also wrong, possibilities are always certain someone stupid would indeed make a stupid move, but that's not something we need to worry about now. What we should be discussing is how to monetize this." Ha Joon smiled.
Merlin and Mordred simply kept quiet and listed, unable to say a simple thing to help the situation.
"Lord Ha Joon wants to start monetising the mining g? Isn't it a bit too early?" Galio leaned forward, intrigued.
"You silly goose, the faster the better." Ha Joon also leaned forward, "We've currtly be able to mine close to a thousand Gyro gems, thanks to the technology I invted of course, a single Gyro gem should cost a 50 mill eres to 0 mill.
If we target the small counties in need for financial gain, and sell it for them at a discount of 5 mill - 45 mill eres, they gain, we gain, it's like making people buy something you simply got for free".
"Financial gains?... The dwarf and elf kingdoms are most likely the best bet. Not only do they have high demand for Gyro gems, but they ar't exactly the richest Kingdoms".
"Bingo!" Ha Joon snapped his fingers, and leaned back on the chair with his legs crossed, "You're smart Galio, I'm rich, stick with me and I'll make you a very successful man."
"I want to be a successful man!" Galio voiced out excitedly.
"How badly do you want it?!".
"I want it very badly my lord!!!".
"Th who's the best?!" Ha Joon grinned.
"You're the best my lord!".
"Who's the best Galio?! Louder!".
"You're the best My Lord!!!".
"Louder!".
"You're the best my lordddd! Ahhhh~~!!" Galio almost collapsed to the g.
Ha Joon Kim's grin grew wider as he watched.
Mordred gave Ha Joon a disgusted look, "You have no shame, do you?".
Merlin chuckled nervously.
"So Galio, here's my preposition to you-"
Galio looked at him.
"You have lots of connections a the marketing world, meaning, I'm very sure you can sell off 00 Gyrogems in a few days. "
"..000?".
"Yes, expand it as much as you want, any kingdom you feel has the highest profit line. With every 500 Gyrogem you sell, I'll give you 30% of the profit." Ha Joon raised a finger.
"30%?! Yes! I can do it my Lord!" Galio stood up from the chair, a smile hitched on his face.
"Well th I'm glad, I'll sd someone to deliver the materials to you, and some knights will accompany you just in case you get attacked or something."
Ha Joon stood up, and stretched his hand towards Galio for a handshake.
"Here's to a more successful business in the future, I'm about to turn you into one of the richest pigs to ever walk the earth."
Galio, so excited, shakes Ha Joon back, "I promise not to let you down, My lord!".
'Money's a bitch'.
