Inside a pearl-white palace beyond the clouds.

"Oh shit, oh shit! Oh fucking shit! What do we do!?"

Pacing around in circles, Lady Mu was freaking the fuck out!

"How the fuck am I supposed to know!?" Sporting an expression way out of character, Lord Xiao paced right along with his wife. Except instead of a clockwise direction, he paced in the counterclockwise direction!

The both of them had been in this state of mind and body ever since the Chasm Gods were butchered up into tiny little pieces. And even now, they still found it impossible to believe what they had just seen go down!

In the beginning, their son's strength had already been far out of their expectations, but they assumed he would die anyway.

However, in the span of a quarter of an hour, Lucifer's strength jumped from 'weaker than them' to 'Overpowered as fuck!'.

If the Chasm Gods could one shot both Lord Xiao and Lady Mu, then their son could most definitely…

"We're so fucking screwed! How the hell did we produce such a monster!? He was supposed to be ordinary! Fucking ordinary!!!"

BAM! BAM!

Smashing through multiple layers of the sky palace in her rage, Lady Mu caused the structure to tilt off to the side!

Lord Xiao was also taking his anger out on the sky palace. Therefore, it only made sense that the palace started to fall from the sky…

This event was all Lucifer needed in order to locate the sneaky little cloud weasels; thus, his overwhelimg presence appeared above the falling sky palace!

WAAA!

"!!!" "!!!"

Erupting out with a level of power that Lord Xiao and Lady Mu had never witnessed before, they stopped pitching their fit and seriously contemplated what they should do.

"My love…"

"Yes?"

"There is one last option that we have in this situation, and it only works because we are his parents…"

"You don't mean!?"

Lord Xiao knew exactly what his wife was insinuating, but if they really did what she was thinking, then it was highly likely that their breakthrough would be taken back by a few years…

"Is this really the only option we have!?" He asked for confirmation, mantaining that last shred of hope within his blackened heart.

Unfortunately for him, Lady Mu shook her head and said, "You know this new personality of our son just as well as I do, and there is absolutely no way that he will spare us solely because of our blood relations… Lucifer will mercilessly kill us… which leaves but one choice that we have no choice but to make."

FWIP!

Taking out an ancient, jagged skull dagger from her storage ring, Lady Mu looked toward her husband and said, "When our families first married us off to each other, your dowry was this knife. And from the words of your grandmother, 'This is the key to another world—a terrifying place that no mortal should ever have to experience firsthand. Only use it if you have absolutely no other options.'"

"..."

Lord Xiao became quiet after hearing what his wife said.

He too was aware of the mysteries involved in the usage of their ancient dagger. But what would happen after they used it? Well, even he had no inclination toward that…

However, upon realizing that they had no other choice, Lord Xiao grated his teeth. As anger sparked within his black irises, he grabbed the dagger from his wife and plunged it into his hand!

Spurt!

A large, crooked hole was made in Lord Xiao's right hand!

But it looked like that wasn't the end of this completely unexpected event…

SLASH!

Slashing out with the blood-covered dagger, a large bloodied arc was left imprinted in the air. Then, with similar actions, Lady Mu grabbed the dagger and did the exact same thing!

Creating an x-shaped stagnant blood oddity in the air, both Lord Xiao and Lady Mu started to chant.

As for what they were chanting…

"Oh mighty Lord of Nightmares, let a blanket of twilight consume the world and devour everything in sight! No more light, no more rays, no more mortal life!! Let the world bear witness to the glorious world that you have created!!! Take out Ancestral Blood as the offering!!!"

Blasting out with an unknown black energy, the dagger shattered within Lord Xiao's grasp. Then, with a staggering display of energy, the blackness within the knife and the bloody x mark lit up in resplendence!

Blinding both the palace and the very world itself, everything had unknowingly been sucked into the inescapable clutches of an entity beyond reason!

However, as if the intent of Lord Xiao and Lady Mu had been known by the Lord of all that is Darkness, the eerily captivating phenomenon receded back into itself!

Honing in on a singular location in space and time, a raven-haired man wasn't even able to see what had happened before it… happened…

Taking with it both Lucifer and Li Yan, the twilight phenomenon whisked them away to a world not like our own… a world where time moves differently—a world where horrors of unbelievable proportions reside…

The Nightmare Realm.

Parallel to the world that we live in, the Nightmare Realm is a dimension that keeps within it all that is evil and corrupt.

From demon beasts or witches to tree torrents…

There were even said to be unbelievably powerful Evil Gods that lay within the confines of this dimension…

The Witch Isles were a part of the Nightmare Realm, but they also had branches in the Mortal Realm, so their name was more widely known.

However, for Lucifer, this new and unknown place could either mean his death...

Or it could mean he had just been transported to a land filled to the brim with benefits and opportunities!

As for which one it was… well…

Within a dark nook located in the area called Raven's End, a tall, raven-haired man and a young girl materialized in a bunker-like structure.

When their figures fully emerged in their corporeal forms, the black energy that transported them here was dispersed beneath their feet. Then, with confusion apparent in their eyes, both Big Bro and Little Sis looked at each other.

"So… I don't think we are gonna be watching another movie anytime soon… Har…" Awkwardly laughing off their current situation, Lucifer patted the girls head. While doing this, he heard her say, "I don't mind… As long as Big Bro is here… All is fine…"

Hugging her Big Brother's head even tighter than before, Li Yan really didn't seem to want to let go this time around…

"Ai…"

Letting the girl hug him as much as she wanted to, Lucifer decided to appraise his surroundings.

From what he could see with the ever-constant darkness that surrounded them, it was no surprise that not much was discovered…

"Other than this old, mud bunker we find ourselves in, there is only this slitted observatory crack." Taking a peek out of the crack in question, Lucifer's eyes were opened up to an entirely different world.

By that, it was implied quite literally…

"This place… Where are we…?"

Scrutinizing the area outside the small bunker crack, Lucifer immediately realized that not only the air, but the elements and laws that made up this place were completely different from the world they came from.

As for the surface-level description of this place, it was unnerving to say the least…

"It's like we were thrown into a horror game, straight into the wildwest part of the map…"

Glancing at the rolling shrubbery and the deafeningly silent atmosphere of this place, Lucifer didn't know what else to say…

Abandoned buildings, empty houses, occasional screeching, and the entire ominous ambience—there was no doubt about it; they had been thrown straight to the shitter!

"Damnit! I knew I should've let Li Yan watch some of the horror story movies!" Grabbing his hair out for being so stupid, Lucifer eventually calmed himself, looked toward the relaxed Li Yan, and said, "Listen… I think it is time for loot. What say you, goth midget?"

"Mhmm…"

Lightly bobbing her head, Li Yan snuggled even deeper into his hair before entering a deep slumber.

Seemingly not caring a single bit about their current predicament, she dreamt about a great many wonderful things (All involving her Big Bro).

Li Yan really wanted to go cook Big Bro some more food and listen to his praises, and she also wanted to watch different kinds of movies with him. Then, she would also like to bring him to some fresh sweet shops…

Dreaming about all the fun things she wanted to do with the grouchy Big Bro, she conveniently left all the critical thinking to the man who hated to overwork his brain…

"Well, it's obvious that those parents of mine had one last thing up their sleeves; probably some form of rite? Maybe a blood/kindred-related transference ritual? Hard to say, really…"

Thinking about this subject for a couple seconds, Lucifer ultimately gave it up and focused on the matter at hand.

The bunker they were in was worn down, cracked, and infested with a plethora of unusual species of critters. It had a total of two entrances, one that had crumbled due to that part of the ceiling falling on it. Whereas the second entrance was sunken into the ground, covered with smashed planks and moldy debris.

"Ahh… Well, this is an easy solution, is it not?" Walking up to the first entrance with a confident glow, Lucifer was going to use his Mind Cultivation to move the rocks and solid mud away from the exit-
