Chapter 279: Sigil Of The Divine, Crown Of The Divine
...…
BOOOOM!
It was only after Harkath's body crashed into the ground like a blazing meteor that he found the strength to move.
And when he did…
WAAAA!
His aura grew exponentially, and it did so with every single step he took!
Anger and frustration bubbled up inside him like a volcano ready to blow!
"God!!!" He roared at the top of his lungs, his footsteps causing the world to bend and break beneath his might.
"..."
From an indiscernible location in the skies, a crimson-haired man watched Harkath's every move, seemingly quantifying something inside his mind.
It was only after watching Harkath enter a near-berserker state that he made his move.
FWIP!
Azmodeus materialized on the ground floor and tapped Harkath on the shoulder, immediately garnering his attention.
"You Are Here!!!!" Harkath bellowed out with what little lucidity remained.
"Yes, I am. And I have come to inform you of your path… You have a way forward—a way that will lead you past the Alpha Realm. But the question is… Are you willing to accept its embrace?"
"!?!?"
WAaa…
Harkath stopped his violent world-ending punch halfway through as he looked at his master with confusion in his gaze.
"You're not going to kill us," he asked.
"No."
"But all that stuff you said-"
"Merely something to gauge the reactions of Pandora's inhabitants. And from what I can tell, only you are worthy to inherit what is to come."
God moved in front of Harkath as he had the essence of the world bend to his will.
Whoosh~!
Qi winds blew in from all corners of the world as every ounce of it flowed into the palms of the man who owned it.
The Qi came together and condensed into an object—an object shaped like a-
"Crown," Harkath muttered.
"Yes, a crown—your crown."
God fully formed the crown made from the essence of the world. After which, he grabbed its dazzling, multi-colored exterior and handed it to the dumbfounded man beside him.
"???"
"You may not understand now, but after comprehending the complexities of this Crown of the Divine, you will know all that you should know. But before that can happen, you will need the Sigil of the Divine."
OOOM!
God took out an object from a mysterious dimension. And it was this object that he infused into the core of Harkath's existence!
The object itself was called the Sigil of the Divine. It was also something that Azmodeus had formed before meeting up with Harkath. As for its purpose, well, that was none other than to bestow ownership of the world of Pandora to its wielder.
Along with this ownership was a way for Harkath to comprehend the harder-to-understand laws and concepts. After all, the world itself was formed from the Infinity Cores of a higher plane of existence like the Astral Plane.
Because of this fact, the Cores now had an additional purpose, even long after they had been assimilated. And this purpose was Harkath's purpose.
"You will take everything I have given you, and you will rule over this world once more. You will not hide away and cultivate for minimal returns… You shall receive immense amounts of strength through ruling, for that is what you were born to do."
God started to fade from his spot as he took all his clones and vanished from the face of the earth once more.
"W-Wait! Master!" Harkath was still reeling in from the power he felt coursing through his veins, subsequently causing him to miss the departure of his God.
Thud!
He fell to the ground with a differential look on his face, kowtowing to the sky.
He would not get up from this position for a great many years, but when he eventually did get up, the world of Pandora would usher in a new age.
An age no longer divided by war and violence—a world that would follow along the lines of a singular man—the Earthen God!
…
FWIP!
Azmodeus appeared in the outside Starry Expanse.
The first thing he did was look at the floating Infinite World in front of him. After which, he pulled it back into his Storage Space and focused his attention elsewhere.
To be specific, he was looking at the large assortment of metallic worlds gliding through the waves of space. All of which were coming straight for him…
"It looks like the Galactic Armada has finally caught up." Azmodeus watched as the hulls of the 'metallic worlds' started to brighten up in a dazzling array of resplendence.
"Well, there is no point in avoiding them any further…"
FWIP! FWIP!
He summoned more than 100 Clones in the Middle Quasar Lord Rank, all of whom were staring at the Galactic Armada with the same piercing gaze.
"Any second now, another breakthrough will come… And when that happens, I should be able to deal with those two particularly powerful existences." He honed in on the topmost part of the leading ship, noticing a man and woman staring in his direction with calm expressions.
"It seems like they think they have everything under control… But that is fine, because there is nothing better than loot that doesn't run away."
A cold gleam flashed past Azmodeus's blood-colored eyes as he waited for the Galactic Armada to get a little bit closer.
It was only after the massive fleet of starships were within blasting range that they fired up their Gamma Rays of Destruction. All of which sat in the very center of the ship's hull.
"Ahh, a good old dance of lasers…"
These were the last relaxed words to be spoken by Azmodeus before he saw the hundred or so Gamma Rays erupt with a splendiferous explosion of light!
WAAZOOOOM!
They fired all at once, every single one aimed at the tiny human located on the north side of a Star Field.
"That should get him, Captain!"
"Quiet…"
Following the brief conversation voiced by the Late Quasar Lord Realm Captain and his Second In Command, a great wave of silence overwhelmed the atmosphere.
CRACKA—BOOOOOM!
An ear-splitting explosion reverberated through time and space as the multitude of Gamma Rays touched base with their target!
