After the last of the system notifications finished ringing out, Azmodeus looked at the blood droplets raining from the sky.
It was under such a gloomy and eerie atmosphere that he vanished from his spot, leaving the Galactic Sanctuary in half an instant. After which, he extended his pointer fingers and repeatedly shot out beams of crimson light.
CRACKA—BOOOOM!
The Galactic Sanctuary was blown to smithereens!
All that remained was the faint residual auras of the fallen Quasar Lords. Lingering in the area, they served as an everlasting reminder of what would happen to those who went against the will of the Crimson Usurper…
…
A few days after the incident at the Galactic Sanctuary.
"This is where Galactic General Bo and Galactic General An Ling went missing…?"
A man dressed like a glorified star trooper stepped onto the void as he looked at the empty airspace in front of him.
This man was one of the leading investigators of the Galactic Army, and he was also the one sent out to discover why the two Galactic Generals suddenly went dark.
After a few minutes of scouring the area, he could pretty much infer what had occurred. After all, there was only one with a crimson aura as powerful as this one…
"The Crimson Usurper…" The Galactic Investigator murmured under his breath.
He knew right away that he must not be the one to report this information back to the Galactic Lord.
He had to find a scapegoat…
"Sir, what should we do about the remains of the Galactic Sanctuary? Should we gather it up and send it back to HQ?"
A man in similar attire phased behind the Galactic Investigator. He wore a devout expression and was clearly loyal to the cause.
'There's my scapegoat…'
The Galactic Investigator thought to himself, wearing a friendly look on his face.
"Say, have you ever considered a promotion being in your near future?"

Meanwhile, in a location thousands of light years away, a crimson-haired man looked over his system interface.
Overall, he was pleased with what he saw. But then again, nothing would ever be good enough…
There would always be a higher mountain to climb! A higher peak to reach!
"Time to continue the eternal grind."
Azmodeus gazed at the vast sea of stars that encapsulated him on all sides. He wondered how long it would take before everything in sight faded into nothing more than the scribbles on a piece of paper.
"Welp, there's no time like the present to figure that out." Azmodeus clenched both Excalibur and Sanguinary, looking like no less than a badass war maniac.
After taking in the fresh, non-breathable air for a second, his piercing gaze fixated on the next destination. Or rather, one of the many destinations to come…
After a few more days of killing and assimilating everything within the Neverdye Galaxy, Azmodeus eventually reached a point in his cultivation where he could attempt another breakthrough.
The breakthrough this time around would be from the Early Black Hole Sovereignty Realm to the Middle Black Hole Sovereignty Realm.
Azmodeus had already condensed his miniature black hole in the fight with the Galactic Generals, so the next course to take would be the further expansion of his black hole.
This would definitely lead to a slightly unstable foundation, especially after he broke through not too long ago. But with the ceaseless efforts of his other half, cultivation consolidation was made comparatively easier.
Nevertheless…
WAAA!
Violent levels of Qi whirled around inside the center of a moon, located in the depths of the Eastern Expanse.
A singular man cultivated within this moon, sucking in all the Starry Qi od the surrounding Star Systems.
This would've surely drained the place dry if not for the constant replenishment being passively conducted by the universe itself. Which, in turn, led to far more Qi being produced for the gluttonous loot goblin to devour.
"Time for another breakthrough, bitches! I would like to see just how many times I can breakthrough before the month ends!"
Azmodeus's maniacal words echoed out for countless miles in all directions, his voice working as a driving force to gather all the active Qi toward his body!
Over the last brief period of time. Specifically, the time after the Loot God Nourishment Rate passed 10%, Azmodeus was no longer the same person he once was…
His personality, after enduring so much pain with every passing second, was warped.
It was warped to such a degree that his aloofness could only be seen in full display if he wanted it to be seen.
However, it wasn't like his slightly insane personality change affected his cultivation speed in the slightest. Hence, he let it be and continued to do what he usually did…
"Blow things up, kill, level up, grind, kill some more, blow even more things up, level up even more! This is the way!"
Azmodeus's string of maniacal laughter could be heard from all stretches of the surrounding void as he relentlessly circulated his Qi.
Even though half his head and lower torso had exploded due to Qi overload, he was on the precipice of something truly spectacular. Therefore, there was no way in hell he would allow a few scratches to get in his way!
"Bunch of dumb ass pussies! Is this really the best you got!? Can't even prevent a breakthrough from happening??? Pathetic!"
