Chapter 310: Escaping The Enigma!?

.....

"What has changed!? We can't die!" Televon bellowed.

RUMBLE!

He utilized his control over the High-Star Laws in order to shake the small galaxy they resided in!

Minthros blankly stared at all the jittery High-Galactic Kings. He lightly waved his hand and said, "Calm down; this is no time to be losing your cool. We still have a way out of this."

"!!!" "!!!"

"A way out!? What way out!? How can one escape an enigma!?"

The one who voiced this question was called Workem, and he was also a strong cultivator in the High-Galactic King Realm.

Having lived hundreds of trillions of years, he was one of the oldest among those convened here.

But regardless of his status or age, Minthros stared at him all the same. Then, with another wave of the hand, he beckoned the standing Galactic Kings to sit back down.

After they reluctantly followed this request, he continued by saying, "This Enigma is vastly different from the duo of Enigma's that came before. Do you know of the galaxy that the last Enigma's originated from?" He asked.

"..." "..." "..."

Everyone tried to recall the name of that extremely small galaxy, but they just couldn't seem to remember anything about it. Which, in retrospect, was considered quite weird.

After all, with their high cultivation bases, all memories should come to them crystal clear with no discrepancies. And yet…

"None of you can remember the name, can you?"

Minthros's dissonant voice snapped everyone out of their reveries. With upturned heads, they looked back at the brilliantly glowing Minthros.

After once again acquiring everyone's attention, Minthros said, "After scrolling through the ancient records of our Galaxy Cluster, I learned that our ancestors were cursed by the last set of Enigma's.

And from that curse, everyone was forced to forget of the existence of a galaxy called Nevedye.

As for how I ultimately broke those curses, well, I met up with a few weaklings who called themselves the 'Ten True Astral Princes'.

They were frantic and on edge, seemingly worried about something beyond their control. And after 'asking' them what had happened, they told me the entire backstory of this Era's current Enigma.

The one known as Azmodeus Crimson."

"Azmodeus Crimson!? He's the new Enigma!?" Everyone shouted out in unison.

Although they had never heard of such a character before, with a name like that, he surely had to be an existence beyond the norm!

"Hai… Before all of you go and get yourselves tied up in trepidation, this Azmodeus is not what one thinks him to be. In the simplest of terms, he is a Time Anomaly."

Hearing the informative voice of Minthros, the rest of the High-Galactic Kings suddenly realized what this meant for them…

"He hasn't grown to maturity?" Televon inquired with the usual smirk plastered across his face.

Minthros nodded his head before saying, "Yes, that is indeed the case. And from what our sources indicate, he doesn't even possess strength in the High-Galactic King Realm. However-"

"Haha! You really got us all worked up over nothing, Minthros! If he's only in the Low-Galactic Traverser Realm and he has yet to reach maturity, then what the hell do we have to worry about!?"

Televon and a few of the other High-Galactic King's burst out in laughter at this information.

To be so on edge over nothing! It truly was a big joke!

So what if he was an Enigma!? So what if he was an Embryonic Time Anomaly!?

None of that mattered in the face of absolute power!

Following the calming and reaffirmation of everyone's nerves, the High-Galactic King's started to leave one after the other.

"Wait a second; this Enigma should not be measured at face value. Even with my main body locating him, he quickly vanished the moment he noticed my presence. His existence is likely something beyond the bounds of common logic-"

Minthros attempted to explain the higher underlying details of the Enigma. However, he was swiftly dismissed by all his equals.

"Just send a few of your countless High-Galactic King's after him!" One of them said.

"Maybe your eyes and senses are just getting dull with your old age! That is probably why the Enigma was able to escape your sight. But don't worry, I will send a few of my tracking squadrons after this boy. Haha!" Another said with a boisterous laugh.

FWIP! FWIP!

After everyone but Minthros was gone from the galaxy, the man who arranged the meeting realized just how naive he was for believing that they would be any help.

"Either they are trembling in fear, or they are conceited to a fault…"

An ancient sigh escaped Minthros's mouth as he wondered just how existences like that managed to reach the same realm that he did.

But regardless of what he thought about those buffoons, there needed to be more drastic measures taken on the subjugation of the Enigma. And if the others didn't wish to help him, he would need to get it done himself.

"Although I do not know the complexities of your existence, I will make sure to understand exactly what part of the Universe deemed you to be necessary for maintaining order."

Following the utterance of these inexplicable words, Minthros blurred from view. Making his way outside the bounds of the galaxy and even the Galaxy Cluster, he raced toward an area where an Olden God resided.

The Olden God's were creatures that have been around for far longer than the universe had been in circulation. And when their Era was the present, they were considered to be at the very top of everything.

Of course, with time, they were surpassed by organisms that took more innovative measures and created new cultivation realms.

As a result of the washing over of new ideas and concepts, the Olden Gods were swept up in the currents, eventually becoming nothing more than forgotten relics of a time long gone…

However, according to the ancient records, which Minthros often liked to read, there just so happened to be an Olden God not too far away from the 83rd Galaxy Cluster.

FWIP!

Minthros appeared above a dark blot at a point in space-time.

One might think that it was a black hole or some sort of cosmic anomaly. However, this 'thing' was more terrifying than anything that the universe could possibly hope to naturally produce…
