Chapter 511: - Come Visit Us in Korea!

Broken logged back into Immortal Legacy, reappearing in the forest where he had last parted ways with Kingsley and Ivana.

His eyes scanned the surroundings, cautious in case the faeries were still hunting him. However, as others had anticipated, this area was now outside the Moonlight Fae territory. Broken waited for a while, his eyes scanning the surroundings as if expecting someone. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a familiar figure logging in—a mage girl, her blue tight-fitting outfit perfectly matching her vibrant blue hair. She spotted him almost immediately and, with a bright smile, quickly ran over to him.

"Hi, Broken."

"Hey, so it's just you? Did everything go smoothly? No one ran into any serious trouble, right?"

"Why don't we get out of this forest first?" she suggested, glancing around. "We can talk about everything on the way."

"Sounds like a plan." He nodded and called for Polly.

Polly appeared in an instant, transforming into her larger form. Broken walked over and gently stroked her jaw, a soft smile on his face.

"Hey, Polly, I want to thank you for your hard work yesterday. Have you recovered?" Polly lowered her head slightly. "Master, I failed to protect you... I left you too early." Broken shook his head firmly. "No, Polly. You did your best. None of this would have turned out the way it did without your help. We escaped Moonlight Land in time because of you."

"Thank you, Master," Polly whispered.

Broken turned to Elincia, curious. "Where are we headed next, Elincia?"

She smiled warmly. "Maylock has something important to take care of his wife is in the hospital. So we decided to gather at Deadbay City. And don't worry, Ivana has already arrived safely with the others."

"Maylock? His wife is in the hospital? Is everything okay?"

Elincia nodded reassuringly. "He'll let us know if something serious happens. For now, he's managing, but his focus is on her recovery."

Broken nodded slowly, taking a moment to reflect on how everyone had their own real-life struggles beyond the game. Even in Immortal Legacy, the real world continued on, where friends, family, and personal challenges awaited them.

Gently nudging Polly, Broken clambered onto her back. "Alright, Polly, let's get going."

As Polly took a few steps forward, Broken asked Polly to stop and glanced back at Elincia, who was still standing in place.

"Elincia?"

Elincia took a deep breath before responding with a teasing tone, "Why on earth would you abandon a woman in the middle of a forest like this, Mr. Broken?"

Broken chuckled. "You can fly, right?"

"Yes, I can, but flying with my own skill takes a lot of focus and energy. It gets pretty tedious if I have to keep doing it. Why don't you give me a lift on Polly?"

"Oh," Broken said. He gestured for Polly to turn around, and she walked toward Elincia. Extending his hand, he added, "Come, my lady."

Elincia smiled, glancing at his outstretched hand. But instead of taking it, she gracefully floated up and settled herself behind Broken, her legs draped sideways on Polly's back.

Noticing she didn't take his hand, Broken awkwardly withdrew it.

"Don't be too kind to every woman, you know," Elincia giggled.

"You were the one who asked to ride with me.".

"Let's just get out of this forest. I'm bored of being here," she said with a sigh.

"Alright then. Let's go, Polly!"

With that, Polly dashed forward through the forest, her paws gliding smoothly over the ground as they sped toward Deadbay City.

As they rode through the forest, Broken took the opportunity to check the item he had obtained after defeating Cedar, the mage faery knight. He pulled out a ring with beautiful green and blue hues and, without hesitation, slipped it onto his left finger. Now, his left hand bore five rings:

The Unbreakable Heart Ring, a gift from the late King Elandorr. The Kiss of Fortune Ring, which he had earned after defeating Melliandra. Queen Gaia's Fate Ring, obtained through his contract with Gaia. The Ring of Fate, a reward for winning a prestigious competition in the Dissidia Kingdom. And now, the latest addition, The Ring of Unlimited Skillz, the souvenir from killing Cedar.

"A new ring?"

Broken nodded. "Yeah, I killed one of their knights, and he left me this as a parting gift," he said, a playful grin on his face.

Elincia giggled at his nonchalant tone. "You sure know how to seize opportunities, huh?"

"Not a bad thing, right?"

"True. It shows you're qualified-and maybe a bit overambitious."

She leaned closer. "So, what's the grade of this little treasure?"

"Hm... it's a Unique-grade," Broken answered casually.

Elincia raised an eyebrow. "You've been handling so many Legendary-grade items that you're

now talking about Unique-grade like it's nothing, huh?"

Broken chuckled. "Oh, yeah? Guess I didn't notice until now."

[The Ring of Unlimited Skillz]

[Grade: Unique]

[Mana Regeneration +20%]

[Durability: 47/100]

[Weight: 10]

[Skills:]

Grants its wearer the ability to use any skill without consuming mana, with a 5% chance of

success.

[User Restriction: 500 Intelligence]

Broken gasped in awe after inspecting the ring's stats. "I think any mage would be ecstatic to

know I have a ring like this."

"Really? Let me see what skills it offers."

Broken shared the details of the ring with her, and she gasped.

"Darn it!" she exclaimed. "A five percent chance of triggering the effect, and it lets you use

skills without consuming mana? That's insane!"

She giggled. "I'm sure Goldrich would trade his beloved car for this ring without a second

thought."

"It really seems like something any mage would die for, huh?" Broken mused.

"For sure," Elincia agreed. "For a mage who relies on spamming spells, this ring is a game- changer. With the right luck, they could stay in battle way longer without running out of

mana!"

She laughed softly. "I think the goddess of luck is really looking out for you, Broken."

"Is there a goddess of luck in this world, Elincia?"

Elincia's tone turned playful. "Nope, but there is a Goddess of Sloth in this world. And I

suspect she's your patron, isn't she?" she teased.

Broken went silent for a moment, his expression unreadable.

"So... you're saying that Maylock's wife is sick?"

"Yes," Elincia nodded. "His wife is currently being treated in the hospital, so he might be

offline for a few days. You can wait for him in Deadbay, though. We still have about two weeks

of Yunatea time until the full moon, right?"

"Yeah," Broken confirmed. "Two more weeks until Tribe Leader Elaine changes into her

Eternal Flame form, according to what she said."

After chatting for a bit, Broken couldn't help but wonder. "How serious is Maylock's wife's condition? Is this too personal to ask?"n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Elincia answered calmly. "No, it's fine. Maylock is pretty open with people he trusts. He may seem tough, but he's actually a good guy. His wife is in the hospital, receiving treatment, and

we're all hoping for her successful recovery."

"I see..."

Elincia continued, "My idiot brother and I just visited the hospital where his wife is being

treated."

"Wait, really? Do you live in the same city as Maylock? Or... in the same country?"

Elincia giggled and replied, "No, I'm actually from South Korea. But it's still possible to fly to

the United States, even when we're playing Immortal Legacy online."

"What?!" Broken exclaimed in shock. "Since when do airlines provide capsule devices for

online use?"

"Oh, since someone has their own private jet."

"Wow!" Broken said, amazed. "Are you the daughter of the president of South Korea or

something?"

Elincia laughed, "Why don't you come to South Korea and visit your stupid friend, Booba, then? I'll treat you to the most exquisite banquet."

Broken chuckled. "That actually sounds like a great idea. I've never been on holiday abroad

before."

"Cool, there's also Starfall in Korea. We can hang out there too."

As Polly trotted through the dense forest, her four tails swaying gracefully behind her, Broken and Elincia continued their casual conversation.

"So," Elincia said, shifting the topic, "you mentioned you needed something crafted with the

help of a jeweler, right?"

"That's correct. I need the assistance of a jeweler to craft a special item. An Expert rank

jeweler."

"Awesome," Elincia said with a smile. "We can definitely find one in Deadbay City."

Broken nodded. But then, something clicked in his mind-he remembered the cape he had received from Elaine. With everything that had happened recently, he hadn't had the chance to check its details yet. Curious, he quickly opened his inventory and pulled up the information on the cape.
