Chapter 246: She is Death

He looked as wretched as the most despicable and filthy vagabond in Sakaar. 

His head hung low, his face pale, his clothes in tatters, and his once neatly trimmed hair now in disarray, his face covered in grime.

If there was also a foul stench emanating from him, Topaz would have every reason to believe this was a vagabond rather than the Grandmaster who ruled Sakaar.

The appearance of the Angewomon caused quite a commotion, but it was confined to this balcony.

She indifferently threw the Grandmaster to the ground, and he lay there, seemingly powerless, struggling to prop himself up with his hands and forcibly lift his head.

Wanda and Bella had no reaction to this self-deceptive behavior.

The Hulk merely glanced over and ignored him, continuing to eat his fruit. Since the Hulk had ample gamma energy in his body, he didn’t need to eat or drink, but he had taste preferences.

Hulk liked sour and sweet foods, so he generally enjoyed eating fruit, much like a child.

Wanda and Bella glanced at the Grandmaster, who was pretending to be calm, and then looked at the Angewomon.

The latter seemed to understand Wanda and Bella's thoughts, so she parted her lips slightly: "He cannot be killed, so I have sealed his power and soul."

"Without breaking through my restrictions, he cannot use any powers."

Cannot be killed?

Wanda and Bella’s eyes flashed as a memory fragment instantly surfaced in their minds. This was a battle memory transmitted to them by the Angewomon, showing the scene where the Grandmaster was killed and then resurrected.

After being killed and resurrected twice, the Angewomon simply used Holy Light Language Magic and Sealing Magic to imprison the Grandmaster.

This ability amazed the two women.

The birth of gods varies widely, and their abilities are countless. While special and powerful abilities are not rare, the ability to be killed and resurrected is uncommon.

Especially when facing an angel like the Angewomon, whose combat prowess is unparalleled.

Although she is called an angel, she has also maxed out her destructive attributes, and she can even destroy souls after killing.

Previously, Wanda had already shared the memory fragment from the Angewomon with the three of them, so they understood why the Grandmaster appeared in such a state.

“Resurrection? Is that your ability, or is there a special reason?” Loki was very eager for this ability.

To some extent, Loki was not afraid of death. Under the influence of Asgard, he believed that death would lead him to the Valhalla, something to be proud of. But on the other hand, he feared death.

Because Loki had witnessed heights he could not attain and had seen the world truly belonging to the strong.

“Death has denied the Elders of the Universe entry into her realm. Without her affirmation, no matter how I die, I will resurrect.” The Grandmaster didn’t hide this. In fact, he had no need to hide it.

Wanda, Bella, and the others exchanged glances, their eyes flickering slightly. They had never heard this name before.

“Death? Her? What is she? A Celestial?” Loki asked in a low voice.

“She symbolizes Death. She represents Death. She is Death.”
