Chapter 1329 Keep Distance
1329 Keep Distance
Shui Xian stepped up, took that frog from Hyson's hands, and put it on top of Hyson's head. Then he went back to Raelle's side and said, "Look, it's fixed now."
Hyson froze where he was and sighed to himself when he saw Raelle taking out her phone to click a snap. He didn't care and even posed for her with a frog on his head. "Imagine if I post this online for your fans to see," said Raelle.
"You can do whatever you want, Ellie. As long as you are happy with it," he replied.
"Yes, my wife should do whatever she wants," agreed Shui Xian and wanted to hug her but she stepped back. "Baby?"
"You touched that dirty thing," said Raelle.
Hyson laughed out loud seeing this and said, "Xian Ge, poor you!"
Shui Xian didn't mind and took out a sanitizer to clean his hands. Then he even took wet wipes to rub his hands vigorously before showing his hands to her, "Are they clean now?"
"They should be but... I still have doubts," was Raelle's response.
Hyson took the frog from his head and placed it on the ground to let it go before saying to Shui Xian, "Ge, unless you take a long shower, she isn't gonna let you touch her."
Shui Xian sighed, "Then I'll have to wait until we get back home. The first thing I'll do is to wash up."
"What are you all dawdling for again?" asked Xiang Wai. "When are we getting home at this rate?"
"Look who is talking," said Hyson.
"But she is right. We should hurry up," agreed Shui Xian.
Hyson chuckled, "Ge, are you that eager to take a shower now?"
"Yes! I gotta hug my wife. Just the thought that I can't hug her or touch her right now is very disturbing to me."
Now, Raelle was the one taking the lead to descend the mountain. Well, she was also in a hurry to go back and wash up. Even if she didn't touch anything dirty, she still couldn't accept that she hadn't showered today. And she had been in the forest for almost 24 hours now. So, no one else was in a hurry to get home like her.
"Fai, why don't you sing a song for us?" suggested Xiang Wai.
"Why should I do that?" asked Hyson.
"To entertain us," replied Xiang Wai. "Isn't that your job? To entertain people?"
"People pay to watch me sing. Why should I put on a show for free for you? Who are you again? Do I even know you?"
"Ge said we should be nicer. What if Justin learned this habit of arguing and poking each other from us?"
Hyson went silent when he heard that and felt she was right. He should really stop doing this but what to do? He couldn't control himself whenever he looked at Xiang Wai. It was so tough.
"Okay, I'll sing then," said Hyson.
"A little girl in red hood climbing up the tall mountain..."
"What are you doing?" asked Xiang Wai.
"Singing!"
"What song is that?"
"It's a kids's song," he replied. "Did you think I'd sing for you? No, I was singing for Justin. So, stay quiet, sis and just enjoy the song."
"Ugh! I hate you so much, Fai!"
"I don't like you all that much either," he retorted.
"Can you both use this energy on walking?" asked Shui Xian. "We'd be home by now if you spent this much energy on walking."
"Xian Ge, you can't complain about us like this now," said Hyson.
"Exactly, brother-in-law. You're not the only one in a hurry to get back home," added Xiang Wai.
"Oh, look! You both are on the same page. How wonderful!"
Both Xiang Wai and Hyson shut up and walked faster than before.
And since they all didn't dawdle as much as yesterday, they arrived home very soon. As soon as they appeared at the gate, they found Yue Yue and Mu Chenyan standing at the door, seemingly waiting for them.
"You guys are finally back!" said Mu Chenyan. Then she looked at Raelle up and down asking, "How are you? Are you feeling uncomfortable? Did you get hurt? There must be so many insects, right? Did you eat well? How about sleep?"
As she wanted to hug Raelle, the latter put some distance between them. Mu Chenyan looked hurt and noticing this, Raelle explained immediately, "I need to shower. I'll give you a hug later. I'll answer all the questions later too. For now, I need to go to the bathroom and take a shower too."
Mu Chenyan's expression changed and she almost laughed out but she held back and said, "Okay, okay. Go, hurry up! Take a shower. I'll prepare something light to eat for you."
Since Raelle was the first one to arrive, she was the first one to rush to her yard to clean up. Behind her, the others were also stopped by the two worried women of the family. Yue Yue also looked at her son and asked, 'How was it?'
"Fun!" he replied.
Yue Yue rolled her eyes at her son, 'Only you'd have fun at the trip you planned.'
"Everyone had fun, Mum. You really look down on your son."
'As if I don't know you.'
"There is no need to say so much to my godson now," said Mu Chenyan. "He must be tired. You go and freshen up, my dear son. I'll bring you some snacks."
"Okay!" "We are also here," said Xiang Wai. "Aunt, can't you see us? Don't be so partial so blatantly."
"I'm looking at the younger ones first," said Mu Chenyan. "You are the older sister. And you're more experienced too."
"You underestimate your godson too much," commented Xiang Wai.
"Wai is right, Aunt. Fai is very resourceful. I didn't even know that before," said Xiang Weimin. "Well, he is my godson. Of course, he is great," said Mu Chenyan. "I have no doubt about that but still... I only have one godson. I have the right to be worried about him, no?" Nôv(el)B\\jnn
