Chapter 4098: Blue Mist



I got up gently.

There was still some slippery substance in there, but not as much as the stairs.

I was able to get up gently and dust myself off the slippery substance, which was everywhere on my body given the tumbles I took.

I pushed those regretful thoughts away and focused on walking.

I could see people around me. Only their silhouettes and heard the noises they were making. It's not painful noises that are mostly associated with the strengthening.

They are noises of pleasure, as this energy isn't painful at all.

I am really sure that when I break through the absolute limit. Every opportunity, I will get, will be painful; I would be lucky if I got something as painless as it.

Minutes passed, and I kept walking, but the flag barely seemed to come close.

I am not surprised. It might seem close, but it's quite far. The information had even predicted the distance, which is in miles.

As I take the steps forward, these fluffy mattresses are getting harder and the force they are applying is stronger.

I could see many people slowing down due to it.

One or two had even stopped, taking only a step forward every few seconds. This is just the beginning, things will get harder.

Not only for them but also for me. More for me, actually.

I am like a sealed tank that is getting deeper into the ocean, which is increasing pressure on

me. If the pressure increases beyond what the tank could bear.

It will implode.

If that happened to me. The result would be death.
