Chapter 177: Power of the Phoenix Emperor

Roar!

Emperor Fei let out an inhuman roar as he sped towards the combined forces alone. His red hair lit up with fire as his fist was consumed with scorching orange flames as well.

"Back!" A huge 7ft tall man roared as he stepped forward to meet the Emperor head-on!

This man is Ballad, Clan head of the Hammond clan, known for their impenetrable defensive spells and artifacts. He wore a brown knight's armor but with no helmet on. This man was a bit dark-skinned with a blade head and a bushy mustache!

Roar!

Ballad growled as he charged forward! The green ring in his index finger suddenly lit up as a small golden shield the size of a baby's head appeared and considering the man's size it was clear he may not even be able to grip something this small properly but Luckily he didn't need to. The golden shield soon attached itself to his chest plate and there from there it let out a golden light, creating a massive golden wall ahead of Ballad!

BOOM!

The entire castle trembled as the emperor struck the golden wall with his right fist but to his greatest surprise he didn't even leave a crack on the shield. He thought he knew much about his people but in reality, he knew little. He gave them too much freedom and in turn, they used such an opportunity to hide powerful sealed artifacts from him.

"IMPUDENT FOOLS!" Emperor Fei was enraged even more and the flames burning in his left hand surged violently. It got so intense that his figure was hidden within the flames as he threw a second blow that forced the room to start crumbling slowly under his immense pressure but even then only a few web-like cracks were left on the golden wall.

This left Emperor Fei stunned, making him wonder what level this sealed artifact is to have so much power! He was about the prepare a third attack but then the golden shield vanished and what he saw was a surging water wave that filled the room.

"Cocky Brat!" Emperor Fei growled as he was engulfed by a pillar of flames which rapidly expanded covering his on side of the room

He watched as the water wave clashed with his flame pillars, leaving him wondering how many more sealed Artifacts do these people have that he is not aware of. In a battle between top-tier masters, a sealed artifact can change the tide of battle! The higher the grade of the sealed artifact the more likely the opposing side will lose. If a small clan head like Hammond clan can have a grade two sealed artifact in his possession, what will the other larger clans have?

Suddenly the Vladimir clan head and Olax of the Drax clan charged forward while the water created a path for them! With each step Olax took he stomped his feet's, creating fissures that made the ground around the Emperor spit open, revealing molten lava!

"Rise!" Olax growled! As the Lava surged out of the ground like a spring, crashing down on the emperor from all sides like a tidal wave!

"Childs play!" Emperor Fri growled as he released a powerful gust of wind around that blew all of the Lava surging towards him away! Only then did he notice the massive black reaper being Lurking above the ceilings of the room with a mighty black scythe in its hands!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Seeing it has been discovered, the massive beast didn't even bother hiding anymore and lunged at the emperor, hacking down at him mercilessly! In response, the emperor summoned his famous magic weapon from his golden spatial ring!

"Blazeguard!" Emperor Fei growled as a massive broadsword fell into his hands and lit up in flames!

In just one swing, he released a massive wave of flame surging upward and completely consuming the reaper, going further to even blast a hole through the ceiling!

"Han!" Emperor growled

Even without conveying any message instructor Han could feel the power welling up in Emperor Fei's body.

"Understood!" Instructor Han said as he quickly created a spatial gate, jumping in without hesitation and the Wuxing clan head followed him tightly.

Seeing them leave the Emperor breathed out and began taking bold steps forward! This time with each step his aura kept growing while the room kept getting hotter up to the point it was almost unbearable for these spirit realm masters.

"A few spirit realm masters dare join hands to fight me? Hmph! Even a demigod will find it hard to take my life!" Emperor Fei said as his body started to glow brightly.

"Remember the man you are going against is the phoenix king! Even without becoming a demigod, I am still immortal!" Emperor Fei said calmly as he kept approaching.

These people were scared of this man but their pride as clan head and peak experts of this continent wouldn't let them flee. They have already lost face by joining hands for one man, fleeing is just too much for them!

"Vanish without a trace! All of you!" Emperor Fei said coldly as his body flashed one last time and exploded.

BOOM!

It was a massive explosion that tore down the entire royal palace, not even leaving a speck of dust behind! A massive explosion created a twenty-meter-deep crater in the capital of the Fotia empire. Even Instructor Han and the forces of the Hayato and Wuxing Clan were terrified by the explosion.

Everyone watched closely as they waited to see something but all they saw was a massive flame in the shape of an egg floating above the blast zone. It wiggled for a short period before exploding and from it, a youthful red hair teen about eighteen years of age appeared, completely naked but he still had the same cold look on his face as he gazed at the crater created by his suicidal attack.

Emperor Fei could have killed these clan heads through normal means but the issue of the sealed artifacts made him change his mind.

"They still live?" The young emperor said with a raised eyebrow.
