Chapter 101: Isabel's Home
In no time, David and Isabel arrived outside.
David smiled wryly at Isabel when they got there.
"Sorry, I messed things up and got us kicked out," he said.
"No need to think about it too much, after all, it's not a place I like," Isabel replied.
"Do you want to go for a walk first, either to the mall or the night market?" David asked after Isabel answered.
It wasn't too late to go home. They could still go for a walk if they wanted to. And going home now might cause a bit of trouble because it was possible that Isabel's neighbors might be outside their house and they would see that Isabel was going home with a man.
Even if it didn't matter, it would still cause gossip.
Isabel seemed to think for a while, but then she shook her head.
"My hobby is going to the bookstore, you might not like that, so it's better if we just go home now," she said.
David showed a strange expression but couldn't argue with that.
In the end, he nodded because that was what Isabel wanted.
He and Isabel entered the car as the others arrived at the door of the nightclub.
When they saw the car, it was already speeding down the highway.
"Where are they going now?" One of them asked.
"Where else, they're obviously looking for a place to fuck. I can tell by their faces," replied someone who was used to speaking bluntly.
His words made all the men fall silent with heavy faces.
That David was dating Isabel was still something they could take in stride for those who were not so obsessed with Isabel. However, that David would fuck her made them feel extremely jealous.
They had long seen Isabel as the most beautiful and best woman in their school. Now, one of the students managed to reach that step with Isabel.
This was hard to accept but there was nothing they could do because David and Isabel were already dating, which meant that not only did David want Isabel, but Isabel also wanted David.
David's car was moving quite fast, following the direction pointed out by Isabel.
It was in the city center, in a complex guarded directly by the military.
David's car was immediately blocked by several young soldiers when he tried to enter the complex.
It was obvious that his car was not registered as a car that was allowed to enter the complex.
After stopping his car, one of the soldiers tapped on the windshield next to David, asking him to lower it.
David rolled down his window, followed by Isabel.
"It's me," Isabel said suddenly, causing the soldier's gaze to fall on her.
He looked surprised and stared back and forth between David and Isabel.
"So you are, Miss Isabel," he said afterwards.
He then invited David to enter the complex.
David didn't expect it to be so easy. It seemed that Isabel was also very popular in the compound so the soldier treated her differently.
As far as David knew, there were supposed to be other checks before outsiders were allowed to enter the complex like this.
The houses in the compound could not be described as mansions, but each was very large, averaging over 100 meters with two or three floors.
Every three houses there is a bend that leads to a new road. David didn't turn any corners, he continued straight ahead, following the direction Isabel was pointing.
After a while, Isabel pointed to a three-story house with a courtyard full of flowers.
"This is my house," she said.
After saying that, she took out a key.
She got out of the car when David stopped the car in front of the fence.
Isabel got out to open the fence.
David's eyes looked around, and as he expected, there were a few people around. Most were relaxing on their porches, and some were walking.
They all stared at Isabel, and occasionally tried to figure out who was driving the car.
Isabel opened her fence in no time. She did not get back into the car, but went straight into her yard, directing David where to put the car.
She apparently asked David to put the car in a fairly covered area so that David would not be seen by others when he got out of the car.
Fortunately, the yard was full of flowers so there were many spots that could not be seen.
If anyone asked Isabel later who she went home with, Isabel could practically easily say that she went home with her friend who was a woman.
David wanted to laugh as he understood what Isabel was thinking.
He looked at the woman's face as she waited for him to get out of the car.
Her expression was quite calm. It looked like she wasn't thinking about anything.
After that, David finally got out of the car.
"Come on!" Isabel immediately turned around and walked to the side door of the house. She did not enter through the main door.
David followed her without saying anything in response.
After passing through the door, he could finally see the inside of Isabel's house.
It was simple without many modern amenities, yet there were many wooden cabinets each filled with books, giving the impression that the living room of the house was a library.
Perhaps Isabel's entire family did like to read.
"Would you like something to drink first?" Isabel asked and looked back.
Her gaze seemed to be hiding a certain desire, but she probably chose to hold it in.
Of course, David was aware that Isabel's desire had increased since they were on their way to his house. She probably kept thinking about making love, only her expression was too calm to give the impression that she was not thinking that way.
However, a man like David could sense that hidden fire.
David shook his head in response. With a faint smile, he replied, "how about we go straight to your room. I'm sure you're also feeling impatient right now. You know, holding back any longer only results in discomfort."
