Chapter 330: Chapter 330: How About You Hand Over Your Secret Techniques, and I’ll Let You Leave?
"Charge!!"
Led by Fugaku Uchiha, the Uchiha clan activated their Sharingan one after another as they charged into the thick fog. Even those who hadn't awakened their eyes yet showed no fear of the battle.
It was typical of the battle-hungry Uchiha. Before the fight, many had their reservations, thinking it wasn't wise to charge in recklessly. But once the battle started, their true nature emerged-each of them fighting like maniacs, turning into a group of war-crazed fighters. "Die, brat!!"
Two Mist ninjas concealed in the fog lunged toward Takuya from behind, gripping their weapons tightly, ready to strike.
Whoosh!
Crash!
With a single swing of Samehada, without even turning, Takuya sent both attackers flying, then continued to walk forward with the sword in hand. The fog was dense, but it hardly affected Takuya.
Explosions, shouts, and the sound of jutsu being performed filled the air, a chaotic blend of noise. Takuya cut down any enemy who appeared out of the mist without hesitation.
Glancing around, he couldn't help but smirk as he saw his allies. Everywhere he looked, there were pairs of crimson eyes.
Indeed, fighting alongside the Uchiha clan, especially when many activated their Sharingan at once, was a sight to behold-it was almost awe-inspiring.
"Don't spread out too much! Stay close to your clan head!" Takuya shouted as he hefted Samehada and charged deeper into the battle.
He wasn't about to let them lose any members unnecessarily. As chaotic as the scene was, Manda, his summoned snake, was holding off a significant number of enemies, reducing the pressure on him and the Uchiha.
"Watch out!"
Mikoto Uchiha's voice came as a warning from behind. Without turning around, Takuya drew his Lightning Sword with his left hand and thrust it backward.
The enemy, who had been lurking in the fog, looked down in shock at the sword piercing his chest. Before he could react, the violent lightning chakra burned his wound shut, leaving no blood to spill as he fell.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"Stay vigilant and inform Fugaku to have everyone use Fire Release to evaporate the mist," Takuya instructed, eyes scanning the battleground.
The thick fog was indeed a nuisance.
With the Lightning Sword in one hand and Samehada in the other, Takuya moved through the battlefield like a killing machine. Any enemy who crossed his path either fell under the biting edge of Samehada or was pierced by the crackling Lightning Sword. His own Sharingan
activated, allowing him to sense any movement, rendering the Mist's concealment techniques useless.
"Yagami Takuya!"
Several figures lunged at him, but they couldn't even touch his clothes before meeting their end at the point of Samehada or the Lightning Sword. Corpses, frozen with expressions of terror, littered the ground.
Crash!
Manda, battered and bleeding from countless attacks, finally reached its limit and retreated to Ryuchi Cave to recover. Despite its wounds, it had snacked on plenty of 'treats' and deemed this outing worthwhile.
"Clan leader, Takuya requests the use of Fire Release to clear the mist," Mikoto informed Fugaku. Covered in enemy blood, Fugaku paused to catch his breath, then nodded to Mikoto and shouted, "Anyone not engaged in battle, use Fire Release to dissipate the mist!"
Fire Release was the best way to clear a battlefield full of mist. The Uchiha, known for their Fire Release techniques, began to weave signs and unleash their jutsu.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" "Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!" "Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!"
Flames surged across the battlefield, thick mist evaporating under the heat. The visibility improved as the mist thinned, with pockets of clarity appearing throughout.
"Damn it! Stop them!" roared Hōzuki Jirō, his frustration palpable. Are you all idiots? Are you just going to let them clear the mist without resistance?
"Sir, there's trouble," an aide said, rushing up.
"What now?" Jirō growled, veins bulging on his forehead. His fury only deepened when he felt a surge of foreign chakra nearby.
Lightning crackled in a familiar hand, a pair of blood-red, three-tomoe Sharingan eyes glimmered, framed by striking silver hair.
Yagami Takuya?
Jirō's expression darkened.
"Takuya Yagami? I was just about to look for you, and here you are," he sneered.
"You were looking for me?" Takuya's brow arched in surprise at Jirō's bravado. Taking in Jirō's hateful glare and recognizing the clan insignia, Takuya smirked.
"Ah, so you're from the Hōzuki clan? That explains your attitude," he chuckled.
The Hōzuki clan had a reputation in the Mist Village comparable to the Uchiha in Konoha- bold, ambitious, and fearless, even challenging the Mizukage directly.
"Hmph, at least you recognize the significance of the Hōzuki," Jiro said, puffing with pride. What's with this guy? Takuya thought. Is it really that impressive that I know your clan?
No wonder Yagura was always plotting to wipe them out. Their arrogance could be grating even without provocation.
With arms crossed, Jirō's eyes darted to the bodies behind Takuya. "Do you even realize what you've done to our village?"
"What do you think?" Takuya responded with a grin, his Lightning Sword suddenly striking behind him.
A hidden Mist ninja, who had been sneaking up, looked in shock as the sword pierced his heart, the electric chakra cauterizing the wound instantly.
"Don't bother with these tricks. They don't work on me," Takuya said, pulling out the sword. "Your techniques are impressive, though. Against anyone else, they might've worked."
Shouldering Samehada, he looked at the stunned Jirō and smiled, "How about this: write down all your secret techniques, and I'll let you walk away."
