Naval Gacha System: It's Time To Monopolize The Seven Seas!

Chapter 206: | 206 | The Headquarters?

In the viceroy's luxurious office, Abraham stood in front of a mirror, straightening his uniform and coat. His intriguing appearance was reflected through, giving him an image of his current state. To say the least, it seems as though he was glowing with wealth.

'Don't let it get to you.' He thought while stretching his neck with a serious gaze remaining on his face. The wealth he had received as the reward of liberating the Colonial Dominion of Terra and its entire sea region made him extremely rich.

There was no doubt that with his wealth of Naval Points around. The establishment of a country would be as smooth as possible. However, before doing so, there was somewhere he must visit. A place of utmost importance.

"The coordinates of that island should be in the data banks of the United Navy." He mumbled to him and quickly stepped out of the luxurious office. As he entered the hallway of the governance castle of Terra, he was met with a line of Marines, guarding every nook and cranny of the building.

The moment they saw him, the Marines quickly straightened their backs and saluted to the fleet admiral of the United Navy. Abraham gave them a few nods as a response while walking through the hallway. It didn't take long until he was out of the governance castle.

He took out a radio from his pocket and immediately contacted the UNS Jaeger of the Blue Seas. The reason for his call was simple. He needed transport.

*Fleet Admiral, this is UNS Jaeger of the Blue Seas, how may we help you?* A voice escaped from the confines of the radio, resounding over his ear. Abraham took a deep breath for a short moment before giving his response. "I need some transport to bring me to Installation-0."

*Affirmative, Fleet Admiral. Your wish is our command. Sending an Osprey to a nearby square in the capital city of Terra. Please await their arrival, Sir.* The communication operator didn't hesitate to answer the orders of Abraham, immediately sending contact to an aviation pilot.

"Thank you." Abraham nodded in satisfaction, turning off his radio and returning it back to where it came from. He glanced around the outside of the castle brimming with armored and mechanized vehicles of all kinds. The Marines had fully occupied the capital city of Terra.

On the other hand, the United Army was taking control over all of the assets under the Colonial Dominion's sphere of influence. Whether it'd be a fortress, a port, or a facility of some sort. All were conquered by the United Army.

As he stood in front of the castle's entrance, a HuNovelFireee soon arrived in front of him with its front seat door opening. A familiar Marine called out for him from the inside. "Fleet Admiral, is there somewhere you need to go?" The blond Marine uttered with a smile.

It was none other than First Lieutenant Campbell, who had gone through quite a lot because of the following operations undertaken by the United Navy. Seeing his familiar face, a smile creeped into Abraham's face as he calmly got into the Humvee.

"Lieutenant Campbell, it has been quite a while since I met you. I heard you were amongst the few humans in the Special Response Unit, even directly trained by Laplace herself." Abraham remarked as Campbell drove through the front yard of the castle.

"Well, I merely noticed that those guys in the Special Response Unit seems to be having a lot of action in our fight against the colony. I simply joined when an opportunity arose. After all, I don't want my skills to become too rusty in the Port of Dawn." Campbell replied with a grin.

"Anyhow, where do you wish to go, Fleet Admiral? You seem to be in a hurry?" The lieutenant continued, asking Abraham for his destination. The fleet admiral sighed and answered. "An Osprey will be picking me up in the square. I have some place to visit before following through my plans."

"I see... You're lucky to be with the best drivers in the Marines." Lieutenant Campbell smirked and accelerated through the empty streets of the capital city. The square was once a place where the market of the capital city would reside. But not, it was nothing more but a desolated place.

It didn't take long for the Humvee to arrived at its destination. Simultaneously, an Osprey flew overhead, slowly making its landing onto the empty square of the capital city. Abraham watched through the window as Campbell made his stop before the ramp of the Osprey.

"Thank you for taking the taxi, Fleet Admiral." He remarked with the same grin as before. Abraham lightly chuckled and got out of the Humvee. A squad of Marines awaiting to escort him, saluting and straightening their backs the moment he left the vehicle.

"We need to be fast. After all, they should be quite confuse about the things going on." Abraham muttered, receiving the nods of agreement from the Marines. They quickly escorted him to the Osprey as it immediately lifted off the ground.

Lieutenant Campbell stepped out of his Humvee, waving off the Osprey which contained the fleet admiral of the United Navy.

"Take care, Sir." He yelled out towards the aircraft, his voice echoing out of the desolation that consumed the empty square.

On the other hand, Abraham merely smiled at the lieutenant and returned his attention to the interior of the Osprey. Inside were a couple of intelligence officers, who came aboard after realizing where he was heading towards.

"Sir, the coordinates of the Installation has been scattered throughout our fleet. Is it really that Installation, Sir? The one with the only codename of 0?" One of the intelligence officers questioned, curious about the destination they were heading at.

Abraham glanced at the intelligence officer who asked the question and replied with a smirk. "It's the one and only. We will be heading to Installation-0 Citadel." His words resounded in the interiors of the Osprey, astounding everyone in it.

Naturally, they weren't ignorant of Installation-0. The reason why they were astounded was how it got into the foreign world. It seems that they had underestimated the power of their fleet admiral. His grandness was beyond what they could comprehend.

Expecting things to make sense with his works of art was foolish and short of heretical. His capability goes far beyond the limits of reality, far from what was considered to be sensible. And that made him their fleet admiral, the one and only.

...

An hour soon passed as the Osprey soared through the middle of the ocean. The coordinates of the newly-emerged installation was somewhere between the island of Servusarator and the island of Terra. It was practically northeast of the Port of Dawn, situation in the middle of the sea.

Inside the interior of the Osprey, Abraham could feel the turbulence through the trembling internals of the aircraft. But nevertheless, he maintained his calm. As it would be impossible for him to die in a crash of some sort. Though, it would be worrying for his subordinates with him.

He'd rather avoid such a horrific event.

'The installation is quite far.' Abraham silently thought inside his mind, thinking about what the installation may be. It was called a Citadel, so it might be a fortress of some kind. Perhaps, a military base under the United Navy. That would be quite an interesting actuality.

But, he could also ask Systema about what it may be, though he'd rather avoid doing so. It was better to see what it was for what it should be without a tinge of expectation inside his mind. Besides, a surprise was better as an ignorant rather than a knowing one.

'Though, we really are taking our time.' Abraham thought while staring through the circular window of the Osprey. The sea was vast as it stretched towards the line of the boundless horizon. However, as he gazed through it, he noticed an aircraft flying right beside them.

It looked similar to the F-35 Lighting II, perhaps a bit larger than the former.

Abraham soon squinted his eyes as the radio from the pilot echoed through his ears. With his senses, it was extremely easy to hear. As if he was the one operating the radio instead of the pilot. He closed his eyelids, wanting to hear about the conversation between the two.

"This is Taker 0-1, Transporting the Crest. Requesting for landing clearance."

"I repeat, Transporting the Crest. Requesting for landing clearance."

*Taker 0-1, this is the western tower. Landing clearance has been permitted, you will be escorted through your landing. A convoy will be awaiting the Crest.*

"Affirmative," The connection between the two was immediately suspending, turning Abraham's attention back at the jets beside them. He had finally realized what kind of aircraft they were. He remembered them as the famous stealth aircraft of the US air force.

It was known by its intriguing name, Raptor.

'It looks like the installation is heavily defended.' To have raptors as escorts and aerial guards would mean that the so-called Citadel was a highly capable naval asset. Though, how capable it was remains to be seen. And... He wasn't left disappointing.

A few seconds after the radio communication disconnection between the pilot and the western tower, Installation-0 Citadel finally emerged from the fluffy clouds that covered it. It was a star-shaped enneagram artificial island with canals leading to a massive dome-like building with a protruding tower in the center.

The artificial island was riddled with defenses in its shorelines along with anti-aircraft and anti-missile turrets scattered throughout the installation. Frigates and destroyers surrounded the Citadel, making its defensive capabilities much more greater than the Port of Dawn.

The edges of his lips rose as he observed the spectacular sight through the circular window. He couldn't help but mutter to himself.

"So, this is Installation-0, huh? The Citadel of the United Navy, in simpler terms, its headquarters."
