"Everyone, we will be attacking the Water Region. In a day, everyone must gather at the border separating the Fire Region and the Water Region."

Once Ajax decided to invade the Water Region, he didn't waste any time and transmitted his voice to all his contracted spirit beasts and the elemental spirits who were settled in the four regions of the Floating Island.

Thus, Ajax gave a day for them to arrive at the border.

After Ajax became the ruler of the four regions, Fire, Earth, Wind and Metal, the wilderness between these regions disappeared and the inhabitants of these regions could easily move between them without worrying about the unevolved spirit beasts.

However, the wilderness between the Fire Region and the Water Region was still there and Ajax's contracted spirit beasts and the Elemental Spirits were continuously fighting the unevolved spirit beasts in that wilderness for their training while clearing the wilderness from their side.

Of course, even after one year, there were still hundreds of kilometers of wilderness that needed to be cleared.
