Chapter 248: A Blueprint For The Guild Headquarter

Chapter 248: A Blueprint For The Guild Headquarter

"I said I already got it," Bloom stressed over this fact, "will you stop me from meeting the mayor like the roken told me to do?"

"Let me see it," the man didn't buy Bloom's words but the latter had already had enough of this NPC cold treatment.

"I will only show it to the mayor, as the description of it says," Bloom said while adding, "are you the mayor of this town?"

The face of the NPC changed slightly before he nodded. "Good, follow me then. But I have to warn you, if you were lying then you'll be confined in prison for three days hell, let it be a week."

"No," Bloom shook his head, "let it be a month."

The NPC guard glared at him and Bloom only stood there silently not even blinking. "Great, I accept that suggestion gladly," the guard viciously said, "follow me then, the mayor is inside waiting for you."

"Lead the way," Bloom followed him while he inwardly sneered over this foolish guard.

He didn't know why he was dealing with him in such aggression. "Does he have a crush over that mayor?" he inwardly thought before laughing at this possibility.

But it was the only thing he could think of.

"I heard about your deeds impressive."

The moment he appeared inside the big hall of this mansion, the mayor spoke in a strong tone. "I never thought you were true to your words those dark players got a hit and the dark camp is restless as far as I heard."

"I only aim for that," Bloom simply said, "but I'm not here to speak about the quest."

The eyes of the mayor changed at she glanced at her head of guards before saying:

"Tondel said you came here with a token to establish a guild is that true?"

Bloom nodded. "May I see it please?"

Bloom took out the token and gave it to her. The moment he took it out, her face changed slightly while she took the token and started examining it.

"Amazing," she muttered, "this little beauty here shouldn't appear before you exceed level forty how did you get it?"

"I was a bit lucky," Bloom said while keeping the details for himself.

"Lucky indeed," she smiled and her smile beamed to shine over her pretty face, "y"know how to establish a guild?"

"I'm here to listen."

"Let's say everything in this game world has grades, including the guilds. This token enables you to build a gold grade guild, meaning you can claim your own land and build the guild headquarter upon it. But you need to reach level thirty before you can receive the headquarters, despite your ability to issue the order to build it at any level you are at."

"Buy the land here?" Bloom asked as he doubted this was everything to the matter.

"It's inside the territory of the town," she nodded, "but it's not inside these walls, but outside them."

"Outside the walls!" Bloom was startled before hurriedly adding, "is it built inside the leveling grounds?"

"It can," she calmly said, "but be smart. You can build it anywhere inside the lands of my town. Imagine for example building it over the main trade routes coming here won't that be better?"

Bloom's face changed as he understood her meaning. "I can ask for taxes? Passage fees?"

"Darling you can ask for anything," she softly chuckled, "as long as you select the right spot, pay the right price, strengthen it with proper force, then you can do whatever you want."

Her words implied how savage building this guild would be. "May I ask about the price?"

"It varies," she calmly relaxed her body over her throne seat, "if you selected a non-vital location then you'll pay less than selecting a very privileged piece of land."

Bloom realized she wasn't enthusiastic about this token because of its benefits to him, but to her.

After all the money he would pay would end up inside her pocket.

"When can I start building the guild?" he asked without flinching about the hints she gave about the prices of this.

"the moment you pay the money in advance," she said before adding, "as you are my friend and someone who honored me with the punitive quest I can grant you ten percent discount over the overall price."

He didn't show any signs of happiness towards this generous hand of hers, after all he knew the total price seemed to be very big.

Such a discount might release him from slight pressure, but for her it was not a loss at all.

"Not satisfied?"

"I'm only concerned about the location of the guild land," he simply evaded this battle which he knew he would never emerge victorious from."

"Well, you can select the land now if you wanted," she casually waved her hand and a giant map appeared floating in the air the next moment, "just point your sweet finger over the spot you want and I'll tell you the price."

"But he needs a blueprint first," Tondel suddenly said, interrupting this great moment of his mayor.

"What blueprint?" Bloom asked in doubt, "won't you provide these to me?"

"We can," the mayor said, "but that's only limited to those guilds built inside the town."

Her words made Bloom frown and she had to explain, "the town design is already predetermined. So building anything here will have to follow this design. However"

She paused and Bloom was smart enough to guess the rest. "How can I get such a blueprint?" he asked.

"You'll need someone to make it for you," Tondel spoke again, "you'll need an architect with great skills to match your quest."

"And I doubt I can find such a person here, right?" Bloom had bad premonition from the expression over Tondel's face.

"Indeed," the mayor sighed, "I tried many times to lure one of those talented monsters in the cities, but I always failed."

"He can issue a quest to hire someone," Tondel gently said and Bloom doubted his good intention.
