Chapter 288: The Fight Breaks Out

Chapter 288: The Fight Breaks Out

"What is this mysterious friend then?" the mayor asked with a sneer, "or is it just an imaginary person player Bloom?"

"Answer the mayor or else I'll beat every single bone and break your body to pieces," the butler shouted in a threatening tone while he took out a thick stick that seemed like those used for baseball games.

"Oh, you are acting all mighty despite you all being just a bunch of cowards," Bloom sneered, "do you want to know who sent me? Fine, it's your master, the one who gave you everything you have now it's Mordon."

The eyes of the mayor flashed for a moment before the butler turned to him as he said: "He is lying, I can already tell."

"Are you sure?" the mayor slowly asked in a different tone than before.

"Well how can a player get to know such a master?" the butler tried to reason with the mayor.

"How can a player know such a name in the first place?" the mayor answered with his own question, "but unlucky for you I have a way to contact with Mordon. Keep him confined here before I check his words."

He was about to turn and leave before he paused and added in a threatening tone, "this building is special, I paid a hefty price for it to be obtained by me. It's not a building, but a rare treasure where I can control those annoying undying souls of players like you," he said before turning to glance at Bloom as he added:

"Anyone I kill here won't lose a level, but will lose his real soul and die a true death. I call it the player's nemesis, and my dear Mortale loves to call it the player's hell."

Bloom kept that annoying smug smile over his face while the mayor shouted all of a sudden:

"If he moves, kill him without hesitation."

"Aye aye sir," and all of sudden the hundred men in the room left everything in their hands and stood rapidly up and kicked the ground with their boots in salute.

Bloom calmly glanced at this scene without flinching. "Such a grand scene indeed quite impressive," he said and his words made even the mayor be irritated. "By the way, I didn't come here to just join your pathetic party I came here to show you something interesting."

His words stopped the mayor in his tracks instantly and made him hesitate. "What is it then? Come, show it to me," he said like he was ordering a beggar to step aside off the street.

"Right here?" Bloom didn't hurry to show what he just talked about, "in front of all of them?"

"Sure, they are my men after all," the mayor shrugged and during this moment Bloom was waiting for the final signal from Sharel to move.

'The silence skill is in place, you can start the moment you want.'

He asked her about this in particular as if he started fighting here, the sound of the fight was enough to attract much attention.

"It's this," he took out an item from his inventory before the mayor asked in doubt:

"What is this? A carpet?"

Bloom sneered before he threw the carpet in the air before saying, "don't belittle my master's latest creation, or else this would make him very angry."

These words managed to startle the mayor and his butler for enough seconds for the carpet to fly a couple of inches over the ground.

And then Bloom stepped over it.

The next moment the entire world changed for those inside the building. Anyone standing inside the building was instantly subjected to reverse gravity, and they all slammed heavily to the roof while Bloom took out his four swords next.

"It's a mistake for you to try and kill me," Bloom ruthlessly said, "it was such a grave mistake bastard."

"Kill him," the mayor struggled to adjust his body before hurriedly shouting, "everyone use long ranged attacks and kill him."

The guards faced the same difficulty to stand up and try to stabilize their bodies. It wasn't their fault but it was deeply rooted in every living soul to walk straight on a normal ground.

Not to stand on the ceiling and face such reversed gravity.

"Hurry," the mayor turned to his butler, "send for reinforcement, call everyone here!"

The butler was just about to stand over the ceiling when a gust of wind hit his face the moment the mayor said those words.

"Do you think a pathetic player like you can fight me?" the butler roared yet the next moment his face froze and even the blood escaped from his face.

"I I Impossible!!!" he could only mutter these words while the hurricane caused by Bloom's swords hit his body and slashed him in every possible place they could reach.

The mayor glanced with panic and extreme horror to the butler who had his body hacked by swords and gushed a large fountain of blood.

"Mortale!" The mayor screamed in fear while the butler only turned to him and couldn't even say a single farewell.

"Don't worry too much," Bloom suddenly laughed while the swords moved from that butler's dead body and started to move near the mayor, "you will join him soon, I promise you that."

"F*ck you!" the mayor screamed in rage as the moment of his death approaching so near awakened all his desire to survive. "I won't die, you damned bastard will!!"

A scroll appeared in the next moment in his hand and that made Bloom change his face at once.

"Trying to place nasty then?" he couldn't help but laugh before taking out a dark blue horn and the next moment he blew it.

It was the horn of deafness he got before and this simple blow caused a mighty roar that hit everyone in no time.

"You damned brat!" The mayor wasn't much affected by this as he gritted his teeth as if he was fighting against a tsunami, "I won't be stunned by this useless horn!"
