Chapter 2266: Raid of the Kholomodumo III



The charge of the Selvaggians that encompassed both NPCs and players were led by none other than King Leonidas himself. He was at the forefront at dealing with the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. He held his large great sword and tore apart the flesh of the enemy with each of his strikes. Just his presence alone buffed all the Selvaggian warriors as he is their chosen king.

[King Leonidas is participating in the battle.]

[All Selvaggian race members will have 20% increase in damage as long as he is in battle.]

[All Selvaggian race members will have 10% increase in stats as long as he is in battle.]

[All effects of King Leonidas's presence are halved for those that do not belong to the same race as him.]

A large increase in damage is what all of them needed because the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo is basically a large monster with tons of health and healing. They need to damage it as much as possible and as fast as possible to destroy all the stored health that it has in its belly. The Primordial Beast Kholomodumo could be seen struggling as its vast health dropped by 5% in a matter of seconds.

As soon as the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo recovered from its exhausted state, it immediately released its soft fur tentacles to attack all those that are near it. Elder Koronn and Elder Ascalor have already recovered which is why they decided to join the battle as well, but they mostly became supports in the first half. Elder Koronn froze time which made all become unable to move except for the Daemos in the realm.

As soon as Elder Koronn froze time, Elder Ascalor followed up with teleporting all of the allies near the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo away from it. When all of the allies are teleported to a safe manner, Elder Koronn made time flow once again. As soon as time flowed normally, the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo suddenly found itself attacking nothing as all of the hostile entities against it has vanished.

The sudden confusion could be detected from the odd movements of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo as it used its numerous soft tentacles with eyes to check the surrounding. When the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo had its focus on searching for the hostile entities, Elder Bronx performed Megaton Slam and streaked like a red comet from the skies down to the enemy.

A powerful force suddenly slammed directly against the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo which induced it to open its large mouth. As soon as the large mouth of the enemy primordial beast enemy opened, Adrian along with Peridot and Levin Cloud started to move. Adrian transported large chunks of Pure Sulfur to the mouth of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo using his mirrors. Peridot and Levin Cloud did it the hard way by manipulating the mineral to directly fly towards the large mouth of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

As soon as the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo turned red once again, numerous spikes are fired from its body from all directions but the people fighting against it have already made preparations. The shield users situated in the army have used their skills to negate the barrage of spikes. Kabrakan is the one protecting all of the Pantheon guild members as his shields absorbed every damage that the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo has dealt.

"Attack once more." Adrian calmly stated as he once again created numerous mirror gates for their allies to pass through to attack the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. The cycle of attacking, freezing time, saving the allies around the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo, and inducing it to go berserk continued as long as they could.

[The defenses of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo can no longer be decreased as it is now decreased by 50%.]

It seemed that ingesting Pure Sulfur has its limits as the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo can no longer be weakened. Still, the fight against it raged on for about three hours which might seem short but all the beings that participated are tired. Even the Daemos Elders are showing signs of fatigue as they are using skills that created huge impacts.

"Despite all of that, that freaking primordial beast still has 60% of its health left. The good thing this that it is no longer regenerating." Levin Cloud stated as he now focused on healing the allies since he no longer needed to feed the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo with Pure Sulfur.

"Everything is going smoothly but the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo has started to fight back. It seems to become smarter as well." Adrian stated as he observed the behavior of the

enemy.

The Primordial Beast Kholomodumo started to use its soft fur tentacles strategically by making sure that the melee fighters do not reach its body. The fight started to stagnate a little because of this but the enemy is still getting damage steadily. King Leonidas also told most to preserve their strengths as they do not know what the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo has in store.

"I need to check what happened to the other side." Adrian stated as he shifted his attention to raid of the other two Primordial Beast Kholomodumo.

Unlike the side where the Selvaggians and the Daemos joined forces, the player side have yet to lower the health of their Primordial Beast Kholomodumo to 60%. Still, all of them were making good progress as the players did not fear death as much as the NPCs that participated. They were steadily lowering the health of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo and utilized the same strategy that Adrian devised but adapted to their needs.

The two Primordial Beast Kholomodumo are split up in the main world where one is handled by the Valor Guild and the other the Infernum Guild. Both guilds are supported by the Evergreen guild and other guilds part of the alliance. Some of the Daemos also participated in the battle but they are mostly support that transported allies that are in trouble.

The one that almost equals the damage that Adrian's group did are the Infernum guild. Siegfried along with Faust easily blasted the large body of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. Faust also utilized the strategy that Adrian did more effectively by having both fire and earth mages work together to melt Pure Sulfur. The melted Pure Sulfur seems to be more effective against the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo as they managed to decrease its defense by 65% which is 15% higher than what Adrian's group did.

The Infernum guild side also has powerful mages that could deal large amounts of damage in bursts. The players in their care also deal large damage but one could see that they are also experiencing fatigue. This is the reason why Anastacia herself was present in this side as she made sure that all players in her care could fight without worry.

Anastacia summoned the caring hand of the world tree to heal the health and fatigue of all those in the battlefield. If she was not there then their side would have succumbed to over exhaustion already. Her presence in the battlefield has solidified her title as the Elven Goddess which the players often used to refer to her.

On the other hand, the Valor guild side did not have problems of over exhaustion. Ain made masterful use of all resources present to him which made the flow of the battle smoother. Despite only damaging the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo by about 25%, all of the fighters on his side have high spirits and could even fight for a day without breaking a sweat due to the effective management.

Unlike the Infernum guild side, they are also only able to decrease the defense of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo by 50% but that was enough for them. The Valor guild side has Cersei from the Evergreen guild and Mariposa as well. They basically commanded the battlefield with ease as they both surveillance power and debuffs.

Mariposa commanded her bug army as support suppliers as their side have lesser healers, but it has proven effective. Her bug aerial support has saved a lot of players from their careless mistakes. She also made use of them as beings that transported the Pure Sulfur into the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo which made them decrease the enemy's defenses faster than

the others.

Cersei commanded a special group of witches that have covenants with devil gods like her. They are the ones responsible for supercharging their army while also using debuffs on the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. Not a lot of debuffs are affecting on the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo, but their efforts paid off as it alleviated the stress on the army.

The two Primordial Beast Kholomodumo on the main world are the clones though which means that they are not as strong as the one that was left in the Wilde. Adrian made sure to tell them to pay attention when the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo drops to 50% health as it might enter a berserk state.
