Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 130: Second Floor of the Labyrinth (3), Floor Boss Chamber

’If I name the items similar to compose them into a set, will that give me a set bonus if I wear all items?’

Almond wondered as he pressed the slab slot inside, beginning the crafting of his weapon.

’Well, I’ll find out soon. I did use monster spirits with matching attributes, not all but a couple at least, so that might help.’

Both of his items’ ingredients had Lightning, Metal, and Crystal attributed monsters.

He still had 18 Dungeon Boss spirits, and among them, two of them had a Lightning attribute within their composition, two had a Metal attribute, and one had a Crystal attribute.

So, in a sense, he could make two more items with matching attributes in their ingredients.

He went on to make the next two items to include in the set.

One was a solid helmet with a face-wide visor, and the fourth item was wings.

Several new item slabs had manifested since he got new types of items in the random crafting sessions. Wings was one of them.

He designed the wings to be suitable to his armor, hoping that it would integrate with the armor.

He had included lean and fancy light metal gloves and boots in the design of his full-body light armor, so there wasn’t a need to craft them.

’Well, time to wait for the results now,’ Almond opened his eyes and looked at his summons, who were busy solving the riddle of patterns.

"Take your time. We are ahead of the schedule anyway," Almond said as he lay on the floor with his palms cushioning his head. Closing his eyes, he began researching his skill runes, the advanced ones like S-rank and above.

Chasm of Echoes.

This cavern had strange black holes on its walls and two passages, one that Lily, Natalia, and Starlight Beast used to arrive in this area, and the second one being the exit they would use to leave.

The black holes on this huge cavern’s walls occasionally released sound waves that would disturb the complex water streams that occupied half of this area, splashing water around.

The monsters in this location were Sonic Crust Frogs Silver level 15 to 20. They lived in water but could fight on the ground.

This was one of the toughest areas in terms of terrain style and monsters on this second floor.

The water streams were strong, so falling into one would definitely give one a terrible experience, and if swarmed by attacks from the frogs in the water, one could easily arrive at death’s door.

But Starlight Beast’s skill set made things very easy.

Lily and Natalia arrived at a relatively wider ground space at the center of this area and got off the Starlight Beast’s back as Sonic Crust Frogs started jumping out of the water streams to attack them.

Some of them launched their long-range skills—Sonic Rings.

Dodging the rings, Lily told Starlight Beast to use its skill—Cosmic Pulse (S) and lower the gravity in its range.

"Let’s dance," Lily grinned as she vanished with high-speed movement thanks to lower gravity and her skill as she sliced three Frogs in a jiffy.

Natalia also summoned her instruments and started playing flute to launch attacks.

They killed until no more monsters jumped out of the water streams, killing a total of 174 monsters over the duration of one hour.

Since the area was huge and the water stream network was spread out, it took time for some of the monsters to reach the water streams around the ground where the party was standing.

"When will it come?" Natalia sighed, tired of waiting.

"It should come. Anyway, don’t complain to me, we can only wait unless you want to go into the water and search," Lily snorted.

They were waiting for the Treasured-Sack Sonic Crust Frog. This was a frog that would come out of the water on its own or if one went inside the complex water stream system of this area to search it.

That frog was important because killing it would grant them the item required to trigger the Floor Boss.

While the duo here waited for the Treasured Sack Sonic Crust Frog, Marcus, and Maya were in the inner area—Eboncoil Maze.

This maze had monsters in pathways, and its walls were black with glowing moss of different colors, pulsing as if alive.

It’d been an hour, but they hadn’t reached their destination yet.

To get the item, they had to simply reach the center of the maze, kill the Field Boss there, and get the item as a drop.

It was pretty straightforward to get the item, but…not so straightforward to get there.

A total of four hours passed by since everyone entered the second Floor.

Most of the Adventurers were in the major areas since they were vast and needed steady progress, with more rewards available in the Major Areas. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Meanwhile, Almond had cleared two inner areas and got two special items required for Floor Boss Triggering.

He finally arrived at the Floor Boss chamber with one hour still left.

This chamber was a big hall with a pitch-black surface, beautiful light braziers, and decorations, but contrasting this was a ruined ceiling high above with crystal stalactites, blurred paintings on the high wall, and corroded hanging ornaments.

The bottom half and upper half of this chamber created a distinct contrast in the sense of time. One looked brand new, while the other looked like it was ruined in the long passage of time.

Almond walked towards the center with his spirits. Looking at the crystal stalactites above, he thought about destroying them but then rejected the notion.

Those stalactites were not just for show. The Floor Boss could empower itself by using those crystals once its vitality hits 50% or below.

But Almond didn’t want to destroy that advantage.

He was also still at Silver level 10 because he hadn’t touched a single monster, let alone killed one.

"You all go and explore the Major Area I told you about by going back. Find resources and items, kill monsters as you like, but don’t kill Adventurers," Almond said as he turned to his summons. "You can freely roam this floor, but connect your vision to me if you see any conflicts or nasty people."

"Nasty people like the ones you told us about, got it," Infernal Knight Ashkar nodded. "Do we kill them first and share our vision, or share our vision and then kill them?"

"Share the vision first," Almond wryly smiled.

"Understood."

"Bro wanted to kill them first," Benedict laughed. "Well, off I go now, boss. See you all later."

The other summons also followed him towards the passage they used to come here, returning to the previous area.

There were three passages in that area, one leading to a Major Area and the other two leading to smaller inner areas.

All of them went into the Major Area—Cascading Obsidian Town.

Meanwhile, Almond rubbed his hands and sat down before accessing the Spirit Kodoku. Your adventure continues at empire

The new Spirit Wraith was still inside and needed the name and disposition to manifest fully.

His other summons had reached Silver level 20, and he wasn’t going to let them fight the Floor Boss.

Almond didn’t know the rank and level of this new Spirit Wraith. He wouldn’t know until he completed it. But it had one Floor Boss spirit, 1 Human Spirit of Platinum-rank Adventurer, and 18 Gold-rank Boss Monsters of Dungeon, so it could be anything.

’Time to unravel you, whom I name…Crimson Skylord Galvaren!’
