"Okay, at least I have got two more skills for free." Adam smiled, "Let's see what's inside the next scenario."

Adam cautiously walked into the chamber as the doors closed behind him. The chamber was especially bright and Adam could see everything thing inside the chamber.

More than a chamber it was like a Royal Hall, 'Is this the royal Hall of Erebus'

He was thankful that he was finally allowed to see something, but then he couldn't help thinking about the kind of scenario he was about to face this time.

After fighting the chimera, alone, even though it was dangerous to do so, Adam couldn't get rid of the exhilarating feeling that he felt during the fight.

In the last fight he didn't even have time to call his 12 golems which were not destroyed at the snow territory, 'I have to figure out a plan,' or if he needed a 'meat' shield... he'll call out the golems to help him but they will be soon destroyed.

But right now he was experiencing the joys of fighting alone, even if it was risky.

"Maybe this trial isn't that bad after all?" Adam mumbled, and the next moment the second scenario began.

Adam's eyes ran throughout the Hall, there were 7 chairs on either side. And one big throne in front of him.

The lights in the place didn't have any source.

'Could it be illusion!?'

The light without origin, a monarch without a throne.

'Is this riddle or something!?' Adam opened the scenario tab and started to read it again and again.

He waited a few moments before closing the <Scenario> tab on his interface, no matter how many times he reread the description of the second scenario, he couldn't get past the weird objective of this mission.

"Is this telling me to kill myself"

After thinking about it a lot of time, Adam came to this conclusion.

'I think this is the dumb conclusion...I have ever made in my life

As this thought occurred in his mind, he immediately cleared it out.

Something was definitely off, but, Adam was confident that he'll manage to take care of it, after all, how difficult could it be?

After all, it was just like a puzzle, that he needed to figure out.

With his IQ, it couldn't be difficult this was what he first thought. But, as time went by the confidence in him was also slowly started to fade.

"What is this riddle...A light without a source... A throne without a monarch"

At that moment something struck his mind. 'Although I could see the light...I can't find its origin'

For example, if you lit up a candle, the light from it is because of the candle, the sky is bright because of the sun, the room is bright because of the bulb.

'What about this place? There is no source for light...a throne without monarch...there can't be a throne without monarch'

'Something that lurks in the bright'

"I guess...I solved the riddle" as he mumbled Adam rushed before one of the chairs on his right side.

He closed a spot in the air with his hand such that, no light could pass.

'What..is this' Adam kneeled on the floor, with a rapid breaths 'Calm down'

What he saw was an eye...it was terrific...Adam's spine shivered from below.

Something that lurks in bright...the answer is 'ignore the light,, you will see the dark'

After calming down for some time...Adam summoned his 12 golems addition to it 2 new golems which he summoned now.

He took out his spear and wand equipped it in his both hands.

It was impossible to defeat this creature without magic in these circumstances, and it was also impossible to defeat this thing without a spear.

'I don't have an option...'

After physically and psychologically preparing himself.

Adam drew his eyes closed.

His eyes were filled with darkness, as well as visions of 14 subordinates and a monarch appeared before him.

They were completely black, with blue eyes and hair.

He could now see his golems, which were also entirely formed of darkness, and he locked his gaze on the monarch for a while.

"Kill them"

All of his underlings sprung from their seats and began fighting his golems.

Each of them was armed with a different weapon, such as a sword, a spear, a bow, a saber, or a scythe.

With light strides, Adam raced towards the monarch.

Two arrows went straight for him at that same time.

Despite the fact that Adam could plainly see the arrows, he instantly cast the [Fluid shield] in front of him to protect himself from the arrows.

'It was a close call.' Adam let out a breath of relief, but he didn't stop running; he kept running towards the podium where the monster was sat.

"Not bad... not at all."

Adam had a strange sensation of threat when he first heard the voice, and he knew he had heard it elsewhere before.... 'This isn't the time to ponder about it...I need to concentrate on killing it...this damned monster has intelligence,'.

Adam was in a dangerous position. The monster in the previous scenario lacked intellect, but this creature does.

'It'll be tough...'
