Many people believe that the Summoner job is overpowered because of its features, however, it was one of the most challenging professions in

[Horizon] since summoners must share EXP with their summons, preventing them from levelling up as quickly as other players.

Due to their level, summoners face a significant challenge in later periods when LvL limited dungeons and items are uncovered.

So, Adam didn't even consider the summoner job because, like other professions, it had benefits and drawbacks, and he needed a unique job that would overwhelm other players.

After walking for quite a bit, He finally reached his destination. He was standing before a huge looking marvelous tower, it was the place called wizard's tower. It consisted of a sum of 7 floors...

1st Floor -Light magic

2nd Floor-Fire magic

3rd Floor-Water magic

4thFloor-Ice magic

5th Floor-Earth magic

6th Floor-Wind magic

7th Floor-Dark magic

If you choose to be a mage you will receive the most basic skills from all the 7affinity through which you can master certain affinities.

Most of the players master 3 to 5 affinity out of which Fire is the most common offensive type magic, Water and Earth are mostly used for defence while the wind is used for locomotion, Ice and dark magic can be used for both Attacking and defending.

Though these two are overpowered most people can't achieve a greater level using Ice and Dark magic.

Adam was different 'I am going to be the greatest combat-mage in [Horizon] I will wield all seven magic' as he thought he entered the first floor of the magic tower.

Just as he entered he noticed a beautiful looking woman her name was Darcy light magic-wielding NPC, unlike players human NPCs in [Horizon] can only wield one type of magic.

"Hello! How can I help you young adventure?" Darcy said.

"I am Adam crystal and would like to become a Mage," Adam said.

"An ambitious magician I see. First, we need to test your affinity with light magic then." Darcy said with a gentle smile as a windy popped before Adam.

[Quest: Darcy wants you to use the basic skill of light magic: 'Heal' on ten creatures.

Reward: You can proceed to the next floor.

Upon failure: You can't enter the mage tower for the next 3days]

This was one of the things that made Human mages rare all over the [Horizon] because they have to complete all the 7quest to official become a mage.

But.

The players who have selected other races can skip the other magic trials and can directly stick to the magic they can wield.

For example, if you're a Drawf you can directly go to the 2nd floor and 5th complete the quest given by Fire wielding NPC and Earth wielding NPC and become a mage.

However, if you are a non-human species, your mana will only rise by ten points when you level up. In contrast, if you are a human once you level your mana will increase by 20.

Like this the power is balanced in [Horizon] it was also one of the major reasons it became popular in a short period of time.

Adam went to a meat shop and bought a chicken. Each one cost 2G but he can't bargain it with the NPC he spent a total of 20G and bought 10 chickens.

Most players will think that they have use skill 'Heal' on ten players and will fail the quest by time-out.

However, if you read the quest closely, you will notice that it just states that you must apply the skill 'Heal' on 10 living beings, either humans or animals.

Adam went to the outskirts of the settlement, sat under a large tree, and broke the chicken leg with a stone. The flesh and bones were torn off and blood gushed out from the wound.

The sound effects and images for "Cockr.. cockr." were quite realistic.

As he used the skill the smashed leg was restored and turned back to normal.

Just as he predicted it really worked.

He continued to smash the next chicken's leg and heal it.

'Finally, the last one' as Adam thought he repeated the process he did so far.

'Haa... Haa... Finally, I have completed the quest though it is a pity that I have to waste an MP potion' as he thought he painted heavily.

The small MP potion he had can restore 50 MP at once but his totally capacity itself is only 30 he had no choice but to consider it as waste.

Just as he was about to head he heard a rustling sound from the bushes behind.

An old-looking lady crawled out of the bushes her had was injured and was bleeding.

On top of her head, there was an exclamation mark, which means that the NPC had a Quest.

"Young warrior, please help me and rescue my granddaughter," she said in a trembling voice.

[Quest: Rescue the granddaughter of the old lady who was captured by goblins.

'Probably the reward will not be great but, I will receive fame' Adam said in his heart.

Fame can only be obtained by doing a rescue quest or extermination quest.

Fame is used in [Horizon] to increase your popularity.

For example, if two players encounter an NPC with only one quest, the quest will be provided first to the player with the highest fame.

If the player declines, the task will be given to the player with the least amount of fame.

For players in [Horizon], fame can be beneficial in a variety of ways; for instance, if you wish to form a guild, you must have a particular quantity of fame.

Even if you have enough money to start a guild, you won't be able to become the guild master if your fame is low.

Adam rushed to the mage tower after admitting the elderly lady to the hospital.
