Eclipse snapped from his thoughts, and he suddenly remember that this new system guide of his, which is none other than Cyrus himself, could hear his thoughts at all.

"Can you blame me for not fully trusting you at all? Also, you haven't told me about the reason why you became my system guide and where is Silver, by the way?"

Eclipse didn't mean to antagonize this person at all but still, the world-hopper couldn't help but to feel anxious because of his presence alone.

In all of his life as a world-hopper, Eclipse never personally met Cyrus at all, and he only heard about him from the others since this particular co-worker of his isn't fond of staying within the Universal Realm of the Main House System and was always at the mission worldlines after worldlines and they never crossed paths with each other within his millennium years as a world-hopper.

Now, the question is… how come Eclipse managed to identify Cyrus with only his voice alone?

A simple answer.

There is this one time that Eclipse accidentally heard Cyrus' voice when he entered his superior's office without permission since that's how he usually does, and the Platinum world-hopper heard the other successor candidate's voice through the holographic form and had something to talk with Sir Red from that time.

After that, he didn't question his superior about that matter since it wasn't his business anyway, but Sir Red still talks about it, and he even warned Eclipse about Cyrus and that's why both successor candidates never crossed paths with each other and only knew about themselves from others and nothing else.

That's why rumors about both of them hating each other but in reality, both successor candidates never bothered to correct those rumors and just go with their own routines and never bothered with each other.

Right now, that Eclipse managed to identify Cyrus as his new system guide, he doesn't know what to think anymore.

Your previous system guide companion, the one you named as Silver, that system guide wasn't present at the moment and in reality, the system interface that you had right now isn't the one from the AutoTech Department of the Universal Realm of the Main House System since from some unknown reasons, both you and Arico's system interface from that department had some issues that up until now couldn't resolved from those agents in that department…. »

From that statement alone, Eclipse frowned with a perplexed expression on his face and said; "Excuse me, what? I don't understand at all."

The agents from the AutoTech Department are still finding this kind of anomaly that happens to both of you since we were also confused as to why only the two of you couldn't reconnect with the system command center of that department. From what Eclipse had heard from the others, although Cyrus' superior, Sir Axen, known for its shrewd personality, out of all the world-hoppers that he handled, Cyrus is the only one Sir Axen couldn't control since Cyrus is someone who only does things on his own.

'Not only that but according to Sir Red, Cyrus didn't even respect the Lord God Jules himself and would just outright ignore the said master of ours. An eccentric fellow, it seems.'

As much as Eclipse wanted to get along with him but because of their positions as both successor candidates, both of them couldn't even meet personally without being watched by others or even their superiors, especially that one person named Axen.

'Sometimes, I couldn't help but think that person might be involved with Kira's previous betrayals to Sir Red and it wouldn't seemed far-fetched to think about it. After all, it's not a secret within the Universal Realm about Sir Axen's shrewd personality that sometimes it will be mistaken that he might be rebelled against the Lord God Jules.'

« …. Stop thinking about that nonsense right now, Eclipse. You need to focus on the task right now. If you're worried, I'll share something with you later on. Right now, you need to adapt your new role as the main character of this new world plot…. »

Eclipse snapped from his thoughts once more and from Cyrus' statement, he had no choice but to agree since this task might be crucial that he didn't know how it happened.

"Okay. I trust that you will give me answers later on but right now, I have some questions regarding about this whole situation that I got into."

Eclipse took a deep breath and said; "What do you mean by your words earlier about this item that I had right now. You stated earlier that it's a pre-ordained that I received this item from Rheina Clandestine. Care to explain this at least?"

After he said that, Eclipse immediately pulled out the crimson gemstone necklace and then presented it out of nowhere since the world-hopper didn't know where Cyrus is at the moment.

« ... Hmmm…. I supposed it will be better for you to read the contents first before I could answer to that question…. »

Before Eclipse could refute back, the system interface alerted once more and as much as he wanted to get some answers from this person but for now, he didn't have a choice but could only read the new notification and its contents.
