Chapter 733: Chapter 727: Yu Ze’s Contempt
After Chu Molin and the others finished dining, he collected the dishes and then told Xue Ling to go back to her room for a nap. Chu Molin escorted Qin Xue back to their room and directly pushed her onto the bed.
“What are you doing?” Qin Xue asked in alarm.
“Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you.” Chu Molin said, placing his hand gently on her lower back.
“Hmm.” Qin Xue grunted.
“Bear with it.” Chu Molin reduced his strength slightly.
“This is all your fault.” Qin Xue glared at him. And he had the audacity to speak; she was in this condition because of him.
“Yes, it’s my fault. Let me massage you while you rest.” Chu Molin didn’t argue back because it was indeed his doing.
“Okay, I’ll sleep then, you should rest afterward too.” Qin Xue thought that he hadn’t rested a lot either. After lunch, he had to go to school, leaving him with even less time to rest.
“Don’t worry, I’ll rest once you fall asleep.” Chu Molin said, covering her eyes with a hand. He felt guilty seeing her awake and was afraid he wouldn’t be able to resist her.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
It would be better for her to get some sleep quickly; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to focus on massaging her.
Qin Xue was indeed tired, and she fell asleep not long after.
After Chu Molin saw her sleeping, he placed the two children in their cribs and finally took off his shoes to sleep.
When Qin Xue woke up, she found both children staring at her with wide eyes, making her wonder what had happened.
“What wrong, darling?” Qin Xue asked.
Qin Xue’s reassurances did not calm the two children who pouted in hunger. “Ah, are you hungry?” Qin Xue smacked her forehead, she had neglected to feed them dinner.
“Don’t worry, I’ll prepare food for you now.” Saying this, Qin Xue picked up her younger son. She always fed her younger son first, not because she was biased, but because he would cry incessantly if she didn’t, leaving her no choice but to prioritize him.
“Be good, Yu Ze, and wait for mom to feed you after your brother.” Qin Xue pacified her older son like this each time.
Yu Ze, however, rolled his eyes. If he weren’t well-behaved, he would have already given his mom a headache, leaving her no peace.
“Yu Ze, are you mocking me?” Qin Xue looked at her older son in surprise. She couldn’t have imagined it, her son had just rolled his eyes? Could a child his age do that?
Qin Xue wanted to take another look but noticed nothing unusual about Yu Ze.
“I must have seen it wrong.” Qin Xue concluded. How could such a small child know how to roll his eyes in contempt?
Unseen by Qin Xue, Yu Ze rolled his eyes again. His mom was too easygoing, but he loved his mom just as she was.
After she had fed her younger son and changed his diaper, Qin Xue picked up her older son to nurse him. She wasn’t sure if she was imagining things, but it seemed that her older son resisted a bit each time and his face even turned a bit red. She touched his forehead to check for fever but his temperature was normal. Qin Xue wondered if her older son was feeling shy?
But every time she glanced at her little son, she refuted that thought as it seemed too absurd. Nobody would believe a child that small could feel shy. So, Qin Xue-like everyone else-chose not to believe it. But she didn’t realize that indeed, her older son was feeling shy. He was an adult in a baby’s body, being nursed by his mother. Anybody would feel shy in that position.
