Reincarnated as the Son of Conglomerate

Chapter 143 Black Christmas (II)

Entering the dance session, the excitement and happiness was still in the air. Laughter and jokes filled every corner of the room, uniting the guests in a festive celebration.

The ballroom vibrated with heartfelt orchestral music, creating a gentle atmosphere. Some guests danced with their partners in the center of the room, while the rest waited their turn while watching them.

Klaus leaned against the wall, watching the guests immersed in their fun.

He saw Joanna and Olivia dancing together, mingling with the other guests. Instead of dancing gracefully, those two women were arguing, blaming each other for wrong footwork. Their silliness made Klaus wonder how two people with different characters could be friends.

In another corner of the room, he saw Steve and Anna. They were not as good as the other couples in terms of movement, but their romantic aura was the strongest. His parents looked more like they were making out than dancing. All this time, his mother and father had always presented their quarrels in front of him. Witnessing their closeness now, Klaus couldn't stop smiling.

However, the main attraction in this dance session was the couple William and Julia. Yes, Klaus didn't come.

They moved around the dance floor so smoothly, dancing various moves that mesmerized the audience around them. No one could take their eyes off the couple, because the beauty of their dance was so captivating. The body movements, the facial expressions, and the synchronies; all blended together in harmony. They looked like a couple who had known each other for a long time. In fact, the two of them were only brought together on this party night.

"You're enjoying yourself a lot, huh?"

A soft feminine voice distracted him. When he turned his head, a woman in a deep green dress drew close to him. Seeing the mole under her eye, Klaus instantly recognized who she was.

"I thought of you with grandpa, Liliana. Where is he?" Klaus asked.

The tall, slender woman leaned next to Klaus. "Father is resting in the living room. I told Noah to keep him company. You know, he's too old for these things. But for the sake of his beloved grandson 'now', he agreed to come."

Klaus smirked. Hearing his aunt's tone, he guessed that he had a favorite position in his grandfather's heart.

"Do I also get the position of beloved nephew from my aunt?" Klaus joked.

Liliana covered her mouth, giggling. "Your aunt is lonely. Her husband didn't want to come to this beautiful party. She really wanted to dance." Sadness rose on her face as she said so.

"I'm sorry, Liliana. If you want to vent your sexual frustrations, you better find another man," Klaus quipped.

"Don't be a dick." Liliana snorted.

She smacked his arm, and Klaus just chuckled. "But if you want to dance, I can."

Klaus extended a hand to his aunt, and Liliana took it with a smile.

He then pulled his aunt to the center of the room, mingling with the other guests.

"Can you dance, kid?"

"I do masterclasses," Klaus replied.

"Hm, okay. Let's see what you got."

In the midst of the festivities, Klaus took over the dance floor with a confident demeanor. He stood up straight, looking at Liliana with a confident gaze. In an instant, Klaus began to dance with such impressive moves, it was as if he was the king of dance who ruled the entire dance floor.

Liliana, at first, was a little unsure because Klaus was still too young. However, when Klaus shook her hand and led her side by side in the center of the dance floor, all of Liliana's doubts soon evaporated. Klaus led her at a fast pace and with great skill, leading her through every dance move.

Klaus brilliantly utilized the entire dance floor. He pulled Liliana elegantly from corner to corner, filling the space with diverse and mesmerizing moves. Suddenly, all the attention that had been focused on Julia and William shifted to the two dance couples who had just entered the floor.

"Who the hell is that!" Eilliam said with annoyance. He was upset that someone had stolen his spotlight.

"That's your niece, honey," Julia replied.

"Klaus? Seriously? I thought he was a nerd."

Little did people know.

Steve is the kind of parent who wants his kids to stand out from the crowd. So, he enrolled Klaus and Joanna in all sorts of lessons. From piano, martial arts, dance, cooking and any other thing. The younger sister didn't survive the first day but Klaus was able to master everything in just two years. At that time, Klaus was only 12 years old.

So, it's no surprise that Klaus is able to dance like a pro.

After successfully becoming the center of attention, Liliana tapped Klaus, asking him to stop his fast dance tempo.

"Enough! Enough! I believe you. Can we dance more slowly?"

Hearing his aunt complain, Klaus smirked. "As you wish, my lady," he teased.

Klaus slowed down the tempo of his movements, matching it with the other guests. His steps became light, giving Liliana room to move. The aunt finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"So, what did you want to talk about, auntie?" Klaus asked.

Lilina raised her eyebrows. Then, she smiled. "Not only is he great at dancing and managing a company, it turns out that my nephew is a sensitive person. You are a perfect man. Sometimes, I wish you weren't part of my family."

"So you can marry me?" asked Klaus.

Liliana smiled, "No. Just so I can kill you in peace."

Both laughed simultaneously.I think you should take a look at

"Klaus, stop teasing your aunt," Liliana said.

"Sorry," Klaus replied.

Silence enveloped them both. They enjoyed each step for a while.

"I'm curious," said the aunt. "Noah said the Sunstrike's guild master wasn't there. There were only the two of you defeating the dragon. Is that true?"

When Klaus beat the dragon, Noah was still under the influence of [Sleep Wave]. He altered his cousin's memories, making him think that the two of them were working together to defeat the alpha.

Besides making his plan easier, Klaus manipulated Noah to get him to spread misinformation. He also gave Hugo a different version of the story to confuse people. The more false information circulates, the more difficult it will be for people to find the truth.

Of course, the goal is to lure out people who have bad intentions towards him.

"Yeah. It's just me and Noah. No one else. We happened to find the dragon in bad shape. It looked like Vincent had injured the dragon before illusion took over his mind. So, we took the opportunity, killing the dragon. But Hugo found it. He then threatened me, so that I would add his name."

Klaus answered her question with deep looks. Meanwhile, Liliana just pursed her lips.

"Okay, now it all makes sense," Liliana said.

Then, the aunt took her hand off from Klaus.

"Do you want to stop already?" asked Klaus.

Liliana nodded her head.

"We're just getting started."

Liliana shook her head. "I can't dance when a woman is looking at me with an angry gaze."

Naturally, Klaus twisted his face in confusion. Liliana pointed at his back.

A red-haired woman stood at the side of the room with the guests. She was stunning in her black dress and the gold necklace around her neck. However, the look in her eyes was piercing.

"Ever since we started dancing, your girlfriend has been looking at me like she wants to eat my head."

Klaus raised one eyebrow. "Sylvia? She's not my girlfriend."

Liliana shook her head while clicking her tongue. "I take my word back. You're insensitive. Ask her to dance, kid."

Suddenly his body was thrown towards Sylvia. Right in front of her, Klaus managed to keep his balance and hold his pace. He was a little surprised that Liliana pushed him.

Looking back, Klaus saw his aunt winking.

"What was she thinking, huh?" he muttered.

His attention returned to Sylvia. She did not say a word. Just stared at him while squinting.

"Oh, Sylvia. You finally came. Where's Justin?" Klaus said spontaneously.

Liliana hissed in annoyance. "He's with the others, enjoying the food. They deliberately didn't eat anything when they came here. But suddenly we got a flat tire, and had to push the car all the way to the nearest garage. Now they're like starving dogs."

Klaus nodded his head. He didn't understand why Sylvia sounded upset. Then, he remembered what his aunt had said.

"Do you want to dance?" Klaus asked. He held out his hand.

Sylvia raised one eyebrow. Seeing Klaus' kind smile, she felt her heart begin to soften. "Sure."

In the center of the dance floor filled with sparkling lights, Klaus and Sylvia began to dance at a slow and gentle tempo.

"Klaus! Not so fast!"

"Relax, leave everything to me."

At first, Sylvia felt awkward, but with Klaus' gentle guidance, she began to follow the dance moves with more confidence.

"It's easy, isn't it?" Klaus asked.

Sylvia nodded.

Klaus led Sylvia carefully, giving her space to express herself in the dance moves. Klaus' smile and the courage he showed made Sylvia feel more comfortable. She felt fully supported by Klaus and their dance became more and more harmonious.

The party guests watched in awe as Sylvia danced gracefully. Her face, which had been sullen, was now cheerful and radiant. Their gentle and warm dance exuded an unforgettable charm.

As they were enjoying the dance, the lights suddenly went out.
